  Working with SmartRoof was a great experience start to finish. Andrew Killian, Sales Consultant, surveyed my entire roof for wind and hail damage, marked and photographed all compromised areas, and fully explained the insurance claims process. He returned 2 more times with other roofing experts to further survey a cedar shake roofed gazebo and other sections of the main roof. He later walked over the entire roof with my insurance adjuster. When insurance failed to acknowledge proper dimensions and certain specialized roofing features, SmartRoof went to bat and was able to compel the insurance company to increase the claim settlement by 20%. Vernon Carfine, Project Meeting Representative, reviewed all details of my new roofing system, materials choices, upgrades and other special requests I had, which were incorporated into the contract. Emmanuel Odagbodo, Field Supervisor, was onsite before, during and after the roofing installation. He did an excellent job to immediately rectify the few issues that arose. Emmanuel liaised expertly between the subcontractors, other SmartRoof personnel and myself to ensure the entire job was completed to my satisfaction.

Represents your firm in the best way possible. Very hard to find such exceptional service that would be highly desirable by other companies.   SmartRoof made the roof replacement process painless. They were informative and helpful in providing the options we could take and they were efficient with the work.
  
  We worked with James Jones during the roof replacement and he was great. He provided up-to-date information very quickly and kept us in the loop during the work. He was also prompt in having any issues we identified addressed immediately.
  
  I would recommend working with this company as they provide great service and are very responsive.

  SmartRoof replaced our roof and siding. Based on our experience, what SmartRoof did is completely different with what it promised when signing the contract. It "has a good relationship with insurance companies" (per their own words) but didn't treat its customers responsibly!

  This was a pretty straightforward and painless process. My sales rep Kris helped me get a claim submitted with my insurance company and when it came time for the labor my project manager James was onsite providing updates to me every step of the way.

  Smart Roof did an excellent job on both the back end and front end of our roof project.
  
  JP Sullivan was the first associate we met at our home and he never disappointed us. He came to our home, did a full assessment of our roof, home, and damages that all were put into a professional report. Our favorite thing about JP was his down-to-earth and honest mentality, availability through multiple communication means, and his knowledge surrounding all things roofs.
  
  Andrew Prickel was the next Smart Roof associate we met at our home. He came to our home fairly late in the afternoon to meet our schedule, was very friendly and understanding with our young children (both under 3yo), and informatively helped us select the type and color of our new roofing system.
  
  The day of the roof install was another pleasant experience with Smart Roof. The crew answered many questions, fully explained what was being done, and did a fantastic clean-up job. We are very happy with the installation.
  
  Finally, once the job was done we had the pleasure of meeting Greg Goodman who came to the house to walk the roof with us and answer all our remaining questions. He did not have to do this, but thought it would be better than exchanging many emails - and that was perfect for us! Greg had a very humble personality as well and his knowledge in roofing was very apparent.
  
  Overall, Smart Roof performed well over our expectations!

  I had Yaeseen Akkad knock on my door concerning some damage he saw to my 3 tab roof. This was his second visit to my home and they had completed some work in my neighborhood, Stone Creek. He was very helpful and showed me how to begin the claim process with State Farm Insurance. This process required a number of inspections and reviews, but eventually State Farm agreed to cover the roof and Yaz explained the next steps. The next steps is where this hits some speed bumps. The next step was to have a planning meeting (sales presentation) to review the shingle and warranty options. We sat down with Jesse DiDomenico for over 3 hours. There was a lot of confusion on what the Out of Pockets costs would be. At this time he called Thomas Lesher, who attempted to explain the different warranty items, the "code adjustments" and that Smart Roof does not complete partial work. This partial work is related to additional items on State Farm estimate for gutters/flashing, window trim, and screens. It was explained, that Smart Roof will not complete this work, but since it is included in the insurance review it will be a credit to anything owed. Finally, we had a small metal roof that is Tin, this wasn't being replaced that could help offset some charges as well. Contracts were signed as per the above, then there were multiple items SR missed and needed to completed a change order for. These change orders did delay the insurance payments once work was complete, but that was no bother to the Accounts Receivable team. They were explicit that it is my responsibility to satisfy the final invoice, which was just a final number. There were no exceptions for the processing of the insurance claim delay that Smart Roof was apart of and the Hurricanes that hit in August. After receiving the itemized invoice from AR, there was and still is math errors in the contract price and items not described. Further they have charged late fees and interest on the final invoice, related to the delays.
