  I bought a new pickup truck in August 2022, and three months later, at just over 3,000 miles, it was rear-ended. The repair bill was in the $****K range. Although the repairs were excellent and paid by insurance, I knew the accident reduced the vehicle’s trade-in value. An insurance adjuster advised me to ****** “diminished value in North Carolina.” I did and found out about NC’s diminished value law and got a list of appraisers for getting an estimate. I checked with the Better Business Bureau’s website, and Diminished Value Appraisal Claims (DVAC) is BBB accredited with an A+ rating. I contacted DVAC and heard back within a few hours. I submitted the various documents and photos needed by DVAC, and within 3 days, I received (on a Sunday afternoon, no less) the detailed appraisal report. I submitted the report to the at-fault insurance company, and they had their own appraiser review it. Ten days after I had sent it to the insurance company, DVAC sent me a one-page memo signed by the two appraisers with a negotiated settlement of more than 95% of DVAC’s original. I sent that memo to the at-fault insurance company, and after a bit of runaround from that insurance company and my own (not DVAC’s fault), the at-fault company paid the diminished value claim of almost 2/3 the cost of the repair bill and 10 times the cost of DVAC’s report. It took less than 3 weeks to go from my initial contact with DVAC to having the settlement payment in my bank account. All in all, a very worthwhile investment. DVAC was great to work with: fast, professional, clear on the procedure and what to expect, and above all, effective. I definitely hope never to need DVAC again, but if I do, I will not hesitate to contact them. I have already recommended them to an acquaintance who had a similar accident recently.

  A+. Followed their advice exactly and ended up getting a large Diminished Value settlement after getting rear ended. Their DV report was excellent and worth every penny as I was compensated for that as well. Highly recommend.

  This company is fantastic. I reached out to get a diminished value report for my vehicle that was badly damaged by a truck running stop sign. Everyone I spoke with was extremely friendly, and Mr. Richard Taylor was incredibly efficient and professional. I sent him the several items required to get a diminished valuation, and in less than a day's time I had my number to go back to the insurance company with. There is zero out of pocket cost with DVAC, which made it even better. I HIGHLY recommend this company for your vehicle valuation. Thanks so much!

  The process from start to finish was very easy and clear, and I would definitely use this business again I received my Diminished Value payment in the amount of $**** within a week of submitting the demand letter.   DVAC is probably one of the few companies left in this world with Integrity. From my experience many companies big and small are migrating to Customer NO SERVICE. Everything is handled online or you're given the musical chairs go around.
  
  FORTUNATELY! DVAC AMAZING!
  
  I was recently in a total loss accident with my wife and 2 month old baby. We were not at fault and the insurance company at first wanted to pay us peanuts. However, after I told them that I would like to use the appraisal clause and I'll be working with someone they put me on hold and said the report has been update to today's market and they provided me with an extra *******
  
  I informed DVAC about the estimate payout and they advised to take the deal right away and using their service would mean I would lose money which he did not my family to go through after this loss.
  
  I am definately recommending DVAC to all my family and friends. Thank you for being honest and working with integrity DVAC!

  Where do I start ,my wife was involved in a car accident and totaled our car . The other driver was at fault but our insurance tried to pay us thousands dollars less than what our value was of our vehicle . I was a bit Leary but don't be. Mr ****** told me what our vehicle was really worth and instructed on how to handle it. The consult was informative and he projected his knowledge very well. Within hours of payment he had presented his research and value of our vehicle to the insurance company . They reviewed and within one day , we were paid what our vehicle was worth . Insurance is a game, don't go in there with no help, thank you Mr ****** . I wouldn't want to go through this again but if I do , I'm calling DVAC.
