      I have been trying to cancel my account since March 2023, the company will not honor my request. Long-term 4+ year customer and transferred the account to a new home owner who bought my home. Frontpoint dropped the ball and never completed the account transfer despite me and the new home owner signing the account transfer paper work. I had served the term of my contract, provided Frontpoint with 30+ days of notice of cancellation, and they still continue to try and charge me $50/month. I have had multiple detailed 30+ minute phone calls, multiple emails with documentation provided to the company (account transfer forms signed, copies of my emails, etc.) and no matter who I communicate with they give me the run around and will not cancel my account. This is not a mismanged company, this is intentionally not allowing customers to terminate service per the terms of the customer agreement. I instructed my credit card company to not process charges from Frontpoint and provided the credit card company with detailed documentation proving my case - this has worked. Yet, now Frontpoint is trying to charge me for unpaid bills, at this point they are harassing me and I'm debating starting a class action lawsuit against the company. What they are doing is intentional and fraudulent. STAY AWAY FROM FRONTPOINT.

      Frontpoint takes all
      customer complaints seriously and will review any customer account for accuracy
      and improvement.  This customer did
      properly sign an account transfer in March which wasn't properly finalized by the
      representative.  We do admit fault for
      this and apologize for the inconvenience this caused.  There was no intentional effort to prevent
      the cancellation of this account.  The
      customer reached back out via our support chat in May to inform us that the
      transfer wasn't completed where he was referred back to our cancellation
      department that would be able to correct the issue.  The customer did not reach back out again
      until June which is the reason it took time to correct but once his contact did
      reach our cancellation department we did immediately correct the account and
      refunded the customer all additional charges.  They did receive confirmation of this the same date that they submitted
      this review.

      How is this even an accredited business they are frauds and criminals deserve jail time

      Frontpoint is always
      willing to review any customer's account to ensure we are providing the best
      service.  In reviewing this customer's
      account we did find that there was a technical error that resulted in the customer
      getting charged their final balance twice.  As soon as this was brought to our attention we did immediately work to
      correct the error which has been completed.  We do apologize for the inconvenience this caused but it has been
      resolved for the customer.

      They tricked me into going into contract a year ago. But now that I want to cancel my 50 dollars a month contract which I can't affod and also don't need the service I found out I am on a three year contract and the only way to get out is to pay 900$ which is the remaining balance of my transfer. This is ridiculous. What a scam. No concern for the customers. I talked with a representative on the phone whe purchasing the contract and I was not informed about this. They also do not seem to have a solution for me and I cannot take my card out of auto pay.

      At first Frontpoint was good, yet as time passed the service and alarm system failed us many times. Being locked in a 2 year contract forced us to stay with Frontpoint even if the service was the worst. Frontpoint is definitely a service that I will never again consider. The equipment would start failing and the only way to get it repair was to purchase new equipment which is not what we expected. Getting staff on the phone was extremely difficult many times. Frontpoint like many other companies they are available to help if and when you are purchasing services, but once you are a customer the customer services goes away. Very disappointed with Frontpoint, why should we stay in a contract when the service, stinks. Lost money just being part of a LOCKED contract, never again. Frontpoint stuck to the contract and would not give us an opportunity to cancel our contract. We felt hostage to the contract, Frontpoint never once owned up to their lack of service or equipment lacking. We were stuck until the very end. LOST OUR MONEY TO A SERVICE THAT FAIL TO PROVIDE WHAT THE CONTRACT STATED. Yet we were held liable to pay every month. Unbelievable.
      The rating of one star is honestly not true. Frontpoint should have a negative in star rating. They are definitely a company who is a FRAUD.

      Scam wouldn’t cancel my service after fulfilling my term. Had to default payment and wait to pay off with debt collection company to get rid of them.

      This company is way too expensive. Requires a contracts. Pulls a bait and switch on equipment and requires you to pay an extra month before canceling. There sensors fail after three years and they don’t offer to replace. Go with silly safe or ring. Much better

      I tried to cancel and they informed me that I had a 5 year contract and would have to pay$500 to cancel. I have paid for over 3 years. Bad customer service.

      This company does not care about the consumer. They made the cancellation process difficult and confusing for my 70+ year old family member. Thus, she had cancel later costing her more money after being a customer for over 10 years. Making her pay for a service that she isn't using for almost 2 months. It's robbery! The customer service representative did not do anything to resolve the situation just cared about their money for 1 extra month and absolutely could care less about 10 years of loyalty and payments. If that is how business is done, you should run the other way. Plenty of businesses out there that I will give my money to....never again using Frointpoint.

      Unfortunately there customer service has really gone downhill since we started with them 5.5 years ago. Long wait time and our sensors stopped working after a couple of years. They didn't send replacements. The service is WAY overpriced. Highly recommend using ARLO with AI technology for a one time purchase vs. high rates of front point. Also when cancelling, need 30 day notice. No exceptions then they keep bugging you to stay with their company- after repeatedly said I don't have time and can hear kids in the background. I would NOT recommend front point any longer.

      Buyer beware.

      At first, I asked for my account to be put on a 3-month suspension because I was moving, which they did. I then called back about a month later and asked for service cancellation. I looked at my bank account, and they had charged me for an additional two months after I had told them I wanted it to be canceled. Spoke to an account specialist, who said he went back in the telephone history and only saw where I had agreed to the 3-month suspension and not the conversation where, in December, had told an account specialist to cancel the service. I am now stuck with having to pay for 2 months that I didn't even have service.
