      Horrible experience. I could never get the system to stay connected to my internet. Called technical services several times. Equipment batteries drained quickly. Tried cancelling for 2 months. Sent email, still charged. Finally today I could call during their hours of operation (always while I was at work and I could not call then) and it took 4 hours with 3 phone calls today form them to cancel my service with an addition 51.00 payment. Do not get caught in their web. NOT use their service, it does not protect you and you can't cancel easily.

      The security service itself has been okay. We have used it for about ten years. But recently they went to a 3rd party billing service. My credit card gets charged, but I can not see my statements or my billings or my account on line. I have to tell FP what I want and they are supposed to email the info to me within a few days. A terrible way to do business. There was a problem with the expiration date on my credit card but they never let me know until the account was three months in arrears. They need to clean up their act.

      I was a customer who paid on time and in full for over 5 YEARS and requested back in June 2022 to cancel services because we were selling our house and the alarm system with it. The cancellation process is very time intensive to say the least, you can't do it online. You have to call their number, wait on hold 4 hours, and then are forced to pay 2 months beyond what you are going to use of the service (which is ridiculous and should be illegal). I told them I just wanted to CANCEL effective end of month and got the run around, after 5 phone calls they finally sent me an email with an online form that did NOT load. No kidding. So I emailed customer support FIVE times, each requesting to cancel, and got an automated response saying they would respond as soon as possible. They literally NEVER responded. I had to cancel my card because they kept charging me. After cancelling the card, they waited SIX MONTHS and continued "billing" my account so that they could turn me into COLLECTIONS for over $260! This is an absolute SCAM of a company. Don't tell me to contact customer service, because I did so over 10 times with NO RESPONSE! AVOID!

      This company shipped out a security system to me and billed a credit card of mine. Their phone number doesn’t work and they keep trying to bill me month after month. I want to return this box. But can’t reach anyone at company

      DO NOT BUY THIS. Frontpoint will sign you up for a 36 month contact just to connect your service without you even knowing it. Then when the equipment stops working, which it soon will, and you then spend an hour waiting to call customer service for help, again and again, only to finally decide to cancel, they'll charge you $1,000 to be able to quit using their service in fees. Don't make the same mistake I did and stay FAR away from this company and this product! Terrible product, terrible company, bad service!

      This company is involved in deceptive practices . I was told if i paid a fee the security monitor would be mine . After they got my credit card information , they started charging me a monthly fee. I never agreed , to a monthly service fee . They have been calling and sending letters for over 2 yrs. now . Threating with collection . I sent them letters explaining , i never agreed to a service fee . the continued to call and send letters . This company is trying to rip off people . They even tried to change they name a little and charge my card anyway . Had to get another card to stop them ! Anyone reading this , do not do business with these people . They are crooked ! I have read your other reviews and everyone can see you are a scamming company . Don't send me nothing about contacting customer service cause i'm not ! Get lost ! And your customer service rating fits you to a T!

      SCAM SCAM SCAM
      They are complete thieves. I have been trying to cancel a contract because their equipment doesn't meet my needs (I could not install a hardwired front door camera) and even though I have been paying their monthly service for a long time as per my agreement without ever setting up the equipment, they are refusing to l get me out of my contract without paying almost $1,000 in early termination fees. I was unable to terminate the contract within the allotted 30-day time as I was dealing with a father in who was gravely ill, yet they have zero compassion for their customers. I offered to send back all the equipment (even though I've already paid for it), but they refuse it and insist on charging me early termination fees. AGAIN FOR A SYSTEM I NEVER HOOKED UP. Honestly it is appalling that this service gets away with this. They should be investigated and their business license should be taken away. The burglar alarm should actually ring for this company's business practices and for their cold-hearted employees. The BBB responses below say they are trying to improve their customer service. Well they have failed.

      Was with company for long time, 10ish years. Sales called said my equipment would no longer work with technology change. I signed a year contract. They sent new panel. Panel did not work correctly. You couldnt shut off unless app/wesite. Police would come. No longer could use my kids could not turn it off. police was gonna start charging. I tried calling, be on hold for hours. End of my contract, kept calling no one answer. Why can I not cancel from website/app. Control everything else. Montoring System appologized. Said they have heard this multiple times and transfered me. Once I got man, said I had to pay another month to cancel. That is not fair you can see i quit using after new equipment. I honored my contract, been finished for months. He put me hold, call was eventuall disconnected, he never called back. After calling again repeatedly, lady who was rude to me, said we dont call back even if in a conversation. They have to send a linkand i have to pay another months. I kept her on phone, received link, paid. Got email confirmation that it was canceled.
      I am taking time to write this review so you do not have to go through what I did. Companies values have changed over the years.

      They make it impossible to cancel. It's been so long I don't remember the exact dates, but when we sold our house in 2012 we notified Frontpoint and asked to cancel service. We were told we were under a 5year contract and unable to cancel. So we waited a few years and tried to cancel again. Received an email but still unable to cancel. I just now realized we are still being charged monthly for service we haven't used in 10 years. Just noticed because we received a call from Frontpoint telling us we need to upgrade the equipment. Once again asked to cancel and they said to go to the website. We are unable to login since we don't have a password. Can't get through to customer service. So basically paid $6000 to them for no service.

      I wish I could give zero, this company is a complete scam and make it impossible to cancel. I have been trying to cancel this account since November of last year! I was left on hold for hours, or not answered at all. If I would have known what kind of scam they were I wouldn't have even set up an account. You can send emails or phone calls and never get a response, absolute joke!
