We started with Surefire Local in September of 2024. They provided us with multiple different platforms that would "increase our SEO and get us seen on ******". We have been doing everything they asked of us for 7 months and since November, our ****** Business page has been steadily declining, despite all the things we have been doing to follow their directions. The lady who signed us up stated it was a 12-month contract, BUT if we were unhappy, we would be able to get out of the contract. 7 months of waiting to see results, and only seeing negative ones, we decided to call to cancel. They will not let us out of our contract and are now blaming our website which was NOT an issue when we signed up. We have spent $698 per month for a service that was promised, and they are not performing what was agreed.Business Response

Despite their metrics showing improvement, ******* expressed concerns about their website performance, as they were using a platform-only service that did not include website support. After canceling Jan 7th and being told i had to finish the 3 month term which ended in Feb, we still got charged a monthly subscription in March. After many useless phone calls and being passed on from *** to *** with false promises they still have yet to come through on anything. We want our money back that was wrongfully charged and return ownership of our accounts. the customer service is so terrible! Surefire Local was cancelled on 4/1/24, at that time we were informed our account would run until 8/1`/24. With that we were told to set our campaign budget to $0 which we did. Since 4/1/24 this company has not done any services for my company *****************. I recently received a charge on my **** card for $896.00. I had called and spoke with ******* on 1/2/25 who informed me she was project manager. She said she knows they were no longer doing back links on our account but they were hosting which is why they were charging us. We informed her that are in fact NOT our website hosts. At that time she did a quick review and came back to the phone state we were right, they do not host our website. She then promised to refund the $896.00 and also send me a confirmation which is still haven't received either to this dateBusiness Response

I am rejecting this response because: We have no contact with this company. I am aware one of my employees used this company on a monthly basis but were canceled back on April 1 2024. I have been the owner of this company 40 years, not sure what they are referring to with all these employee changes.

You have been let out of your contract and your subscription with Surefire Local will not be continuing. However, its important to note that the initial agreement was for a three-month term, and we have worked to honor that commitment while also supporting your experience. Therefore, we cannot grant a full refund for the three-month term for these reasons.
1. Onboarding Delays: We had scheduled multiple onboarding meetings, but these were repeatedly missed. While we are always understanding of personal circumstances, these delays did impact your ability to get started effectively.
2. Engagement and Participation: Our platform relies heavily on user engagement and active participation to deliver results. While we made our best efforts to provide support and guidance, results ultimately come through active collaboration and consistent use of the platform.

This company has refused to do any work that was promised. Anytime we make a request, it goes unanswered for days. Our leads and web traffic crashed to nothing and costs us thousands. When we brought up issues to them (when they actually answered the phone) we were passed around with no real solutions. We were paying over $2,000 a month and it was costing us thousands more in lost business. **** with their company even agreed that 3 months into working with them they had failed to do what should have been done on the first day. They make promises but dont fulfill them. **** with their company then agreed (in writing) that they would reduce our bill to $1348/month for the rest of the contract. They then took $1998 from our account WITHOUT OUR AUTHORIZATION. Had we not audited our bank accounts we would have never known. It took days to refund us and now they blame us and claim they were "waiting for us for a response" and thats why they took the additional money, even though we have it in writing the day we agreed on terms. They withdrew the money days later so they knowingly took more money than what was agreed to. It was CLEAR that they were only to take $1348 from our account. They also refuse to turn over any admin rights to our social media and website so they are essentially holding us hostage. They refuse to cancel our account after they broke the contract that THEY proposed to us and we agreed to. This company has costs us THOUSANDS in lost business. They advertise themselves as a "all in one marketing service" but when they fail to do any work for their clients they claim they are "only a software company", which is extremely deceptive.Business Response

They promised to build website never did full of excuses. Promised advertising and got nothing but spam calls. They have sent collections after I attained a new credit card that they were not authorized to charge. Sent to collection after reported to card company that was it authorized and never gave them that card. I did pay for 2 months of services adding past 3000 dollars. We started doing business with this company and after several months of nothing happening we called to cancel the services. They not only did not cancel the services as requested but they also charged us for an additional month. I have called 5 times asking to be cancelled and speak to a supervisor who can help with the refund, i was told i would receive a call from a manager but instead i got a call and email from our "representative" trying to offer us future discounts etc which we told him we do not want, we want the refund we are entitled to and the services to be cancelled.Business Response
