From the first phone call to the last, everything was exactly how I like to do business. From the sales rep, Sonny giving us the needed information to make the decisions of what to get, with an honestly given advice. Seeing how prepared he was coming out to get an estimate. Talking with the office personnel, Kimberly& Tina continued the feelings of a trust worthy company.
The people in the field were amazing Mark, Francisco(sp?) and the whole group working on the roof. Even my next door mentioned that she was amazed by their work. Working with Mark on decisions about the guttering got us the correct solution. The gutter group were in and out did a wonderful job. Clean up after both jobs was great to some extent better than what I expected. On all the work days the temp was in the mid 30s in the mornings.
My compliments to the owners for having a well trained and knowledgeable team. It was a pleasure to have done business with you.

Im really picky when it comes to choosing a company to do work on my house..very.
I really wanna say thank you to custom home improvement. Everyone, Maka, (sorry if I butchered the spelling), Kimberly, tim, mark, and the crew that put the siding up. They helped me immensely. Seriously. I’m very grateful for it. They were professional and respectful. I will be using them again in the future. Everyone I had spoke to me with respect and was enjoyable to talk to. When I called Kimberly to do the final payment, she somehow made paying enjoyable lol.

Custom Home Improvements is a great company to work with. If you are weighing your options for needed work on your house, I believe you will be highly satisfied by choosing them. Carpenter bees over the years had destroyed much of the fascia on my house. Reaching out to Custom Home Improvements, I opted for their “Custom Deluxe Vinyl-Trim” package, along with new gutters & downspouts. I opted for Wedgewood Blue for all products. My 1st installation was scheduled for Monday, 9/18/23. The crew did fantastic work. My gutter & downspout installation would be the next day. I notice that I am not seeing Wedgewood Blue, but white. As fate would have it, the manufacturer of the gutter material abruptly decided mid-year to discontinue Wedgewood Blue. Kimberly called many sources, trying to find anyone with Wedgewood Blue on hand, or anything close. No one had it. Can we identify another color that would be complimentary to the overall look? Kimberly patiently offered other colors, & I agreed to “Colonial Gray”. It was hoped this could be rushed through to perhaps a week to 10 days. I settled on that and called it a day. Having nothing better to do than think about this all night & watch TV, now hearing about a potential tropical storm developing, I had a change of mind. Wednesday morning, I arrived unannounced at their office, meeting with Kimberly, to see if in light of the coming storm, if it was still possible to get the white installed ASAP, so my house would not experience facing a potential strong storm with no rain gutters. Again, Kimberly jumped in with both feet to see what could be done. I am pleased to say it appears mountains were moved to take care of me. Friday morning, as the clouds and winds of Ophelia arrived in Virginia Beach, the gutter crew arrived & installed my new white gutters & downspouts before a single raindrop fell. I was immensely grateful to the gutter crew & to Kimberly for taking my best interests to heart. Looks great!Custom Home Improvement & Repairs, LLC

I highly recommend this company. My experience was amazing from the start. Terry came to my house to give me an estimation on my roof.. He was very professional and explained everything in detail. The process was so simple and the property manager Kimberly was outstanding. I'm extremely pleased with the work that was done on my house. All great things to say about my experience with this company. They offer a very competitive price for the roofing service with great customer service before and after the installation. Terry the salesman they sent out was clearly knowledgeable and helpful with our very specific questions and requirements for the project. Francisco, the project manager, was great the day of the job with efficient setup and cleaned up the site very thoroughly. Additionally, Kimberly was extremely helpful with setting up a date that worked with our schedule and preferences, making sure our needs were met the whole way through. Overall a very professional, customer oriented company. Our roof looks great, and I would highly recommend them to any home owner on the Virginia Beach area.Custom Home Improvement & Repairs, LLC

I had the best experience with Custom Home Improvements while getting my roof replaced! After talking to numerous companies who never returned calls or followed up after the quote, I took a chance with CHI when they stopped at my door. I am so glad I did... these folks impressed me from the quote to the final minute of install. Some of the highlights:
- Just two about two weeks from the time I got the wire to the time they began install. - *** made sure I was aware of every step of the process, from setup to clean up. She really made the whole thing easy, reassuring, and worry-free.
- *********, the install supervisor, was very easy going, stayed in contact with me throughout the install, and made sure I was cool with everything before they left.
- The crew seemed extremely skilled and confident in what they were doing. Didn't miss a thing, really put a lot of care and effort into the surrounding yard, and took as much time and care with the cleanup as they did the install.
- Big thanks to one of the owners, Tim, for calling me personally and checking up on how it was going. Heard a lot of horror stories about contracting companies since the pandemic... Really glad these guys proved it all wrong! Definitely using them when it's time to do the gutters!Custom Home Improvement & Repairs, LLC
