I had the lipo 360 with ABEX procedure at the Beverly Hills location in June 2024 paying $17,889.88. This amount included the outer thigh but it was not done and as I did not need it, that being said I didn't notice the charge until now. My stomach is mutilated, protruding upper stomach, wrinkled mid -section , hanging skin on side of belly button and hanging skin on my arms and inner thighs. I also have keloids in the scare area of the lower stomach. I would have rather kept the fat. They have declined to help me fix it and are offering me $4k to release them from all liability. Although all the fat is gone, my skin looks worst than before, its so humiliating.Business Response

I have never purchased anything from this company and I have never heard of this company before. However, I keep receiving several emails from this company every day in the past 6 months. No matter how many times I block them or report the mails to junk mail. Their mails just keep coming in.Business Response

I had a consult on 4/11/25 with Sono Bello for liposuction and Abex. I paid the full amount of $13,750.00 that day because I was so excited. Scheduled surgery for 4/40/25. Had pre-op appointment on 4/18/25 with surgeon, Dr ******* He refused to perform the procedure due to my family history of blood clots. He canceled surgery so I asked do I need to do anything that day to get a refund and I was told know that it will be taken care of. I spoke with Danni, who was my consultant, and she assured me that I would receive a full refund since the doctor canceled the surgery. She and I have had several phones and texts back and forth concerning the refund. She has assured me time and time again that the refund has moved through the proper channels and I would receive it any day. I have contacted my credit card company and they are working on getting the refund also. Next stepcontact an attorneyfor my refund plus damages. Complaint Against: Sono Bello **************** Agreement: August 2024 Amount in Dispute: Approximately $4,690.00 To Whom It May Concern,I am writing to formally file a complaint against Sono Bello regarding an unresolved issue involving a refund for services that were never *********** August 2024, I signed up for liposuction procedures with Sono Bello and paid a deposit, along with additional funds totaling approximately $4,690 beyond the initial non-refundable deposit. Before my scheduled procedure, I sustained a concussion and was medically advised to postpone the surgery. I promptly informed Sono Bello of my condition.When I contacted Sono Bello several months later to cancel and request a refund of the funds beyond the initial deposit, I was met with resistance. The representative I spoke to was uncooperative and ultimately refused to process the refund, despite the fact that services had not been rendered.On June 5, 2025, I attended a pre-op appointment to reconsider the procedure. After further evaluation, I determined that I do not wish to proceed. At this point, I again requested a refund of the funds I paid beyond the non-refundable deposit, but was told that because more than six months had passed, the funds were considered expired and would not be returned.I find this policy unreasonable and unethical. The fact that Sono Bello is refusing to return $4,690.00 of my money for services that were never performed is unacceptable. I believe I have made multiple good-faith efforts to resolve this directly with the company, and now seek the assistance of the BBB in facilitating the refund of these funds.I would like a full refund of the entire procedure $7,480.00. On 4/18/25 I went in for an evaluation where I thought I would meet with a doctor to go over if i was a candidated or not. Instead I felt pressured to sign an agreement and pay for a procedure before even being evaluated by a physician. I had one pre op procedure where I was photographed and met the doctor *** hardly examined me. After the procedure on 4/25/25 I followed the guidelines I was given on paper as well as verbally although some of the information was contradicting. I went to my post op appointment where the doctor didn't see me and I was only photographed. The healing phase has ended and there is no change in the procedure area other than a hard lump now that in someway looks worse than before the procedure. I feel like I was taken advantage of and when reviewing my paperwork the options the recommend is more surgery if they deem fit. I would just like my money back and to move on from this. Unnecessary surgery was preformed on me and I was not properly advised by a Licensed physician prior to my surgery. I was never given a chance to see a physician until my surgery date when I was already administered drugs. I was treated unfairly and was ignored during surgery suffering lots of pain during and after procedure. I requested 2nd opinion with a different physician who informed me the reason I did not get results from this surgery is because I was not a candidate and this surgery should have not been offered to me. I requested a refund due to this and they offered me additional laser treatments that I was also having done there. I was later told later in reviewing my file after its already been done that I should not have this treatment done to me because I am a Breast Cancer survivor and it should not be done on cancer patients. They also offered a partial refund which was less than half of surgery cost. I went on to file a complaint outside of that office and was told it would be escalated for a full refund. I am now trying to get status and I am being told there is no corporate office or way to contact anyone other than local office which I do not wish to further deal with.Business Response

I had the AbEx procedure and a pubic lift in October 2024 at the ************* Sono Bello location. I was concerned about my sides after surgery because they stuck out. I kept being told at my follow-ups that it was normal and just swelling. It was not swelling. They finally admitted it was dog ears and there was a problem but I had to wait for the 6 month appointment for the doctor to take a look. At that appointment, he agreed and signed off that I should have a revision surgery and it was covered by the initial agreement. They said they would put in for the revision and would contact me to get me scheduled. It's been over a month and I've called twice and they just say "Corporate isn't approving revisions at this time, they are on hold and they have a list and would contact me when corporate allows them to start scheduling. That they do not have a time frame of when they will start allowing revisions again". I am upset that they are just putting me on 'hold'. I look at myself in the mirror every day and am disappointed in how I look and it affects my mental well being. And there is no one to contact about this. I tried calling a Sono Bello 'corporate' number in ******************* and was just told they can't do anything, that they'd have to send me to the ************* office. Which they're going to not do anything and say again "Corporate isn't approving revisions at this time, they are on hold and they have a list and would contact me when corporate allows them to start scheduling. That they do not have a time frame of when they will start allowing revisions again". I just want a clear answer of when Sono Bello will take care of the issue and get me scheduled to fix the problem.Business Response

On 03/27/24 I was given medication to "sedate me." about ***** minutes passed by when I was headed to the procedure room, I was injected with ********* where the cuts where going to be made, then after, a device was inserted, I believe it was supposed to numb me internally. IT DID NOT WORK, and I made sure to express my pain during my procedure, wanting to reach with my hands where the pain was felt, to then be instructed not to touch myself. It was the most agonizing pain I had ever felt.On 04/04/24, I had my first Post-Op appointment. I expressed to the doctor how horrible my experience was, and because of the pain I endured, I was hesitant about the 2nd part of the procedure. I was dismissed and informed that I was already given the highest dose of medicine to prevent pain and that most patients don't ever complain of pain the way I did. I was left with that sentiment.On 06/26/24, I had my 3-month follow-up. In this appointment, I expressed that I didn't foresee a potential 2nd part due to the pain, and that if we could find a solution to avoid this, IF I did decide to move forward with the next procedure. I was informed again that I was already at my max for "sedation".In October of 2024, I reached out to Sono Bello via phone call and email, hoping to get a refund on the procedures that I had not received. I informed the ************ Consultant that my health was not in a position to move forward with the procedure, especially with the pain I endured. I sent the proper documents for their review and was later informed on 01/22/25 that the health records I provided did not indicate I was a non-candidate. I have hypertension and have a Liposarcoma in my abdomen, to give you insight.After the pain I endured along with the disregard of my health, I do not feel safe to proceed with any procedure, nor was I satisfied with the previous procedure, and I request a refund on all the services I did not receive.Customer Answer

Surgery June 2024 Total paid was $15,428.21 Was promised high quality results in lipo suction that was performed on multiple areas that failed too meet the standard of care Originally, I was scheduled to have multiple areas treated in a single session by the same surgeon. However, I was informed during the first procedure that the surgeon had run out of time, and I was rescheduled for a second session. At that second procedure, a completely different surgeon began the operation without my prior knowledge or consent. I only realized this after experiencing severe pain and noticing a different face above me. I was then given an eye mask and told to stay still. The ********* was ineffective, and my distress was acknowledged post-surgery, though no further action was taken at that time.Following surgery, I was meticulous in my recovery process. I underwent lymphatic massages, wore multiple compression garments (each costing over $100), and used home massage tools multiple times daily. Despite these efforts, I saw no improvement in my results. In fact, some areas, particularly my hips, now appear larger and more uneven than before the procedure.When I voiced my concerns during my six-month evaluation, I was told I would need to pay an additional $2,500 for a revision to correct the unsatisfactory areas. This is deeply frustrating, considering I had already spent $12,228.21 on the procedures and an additional $3,200 on Venus ****** treatments, which I was advised to purchase to improve my results.disheartening. Your teams handling of my concerns, including the last-minute change of surgeon and the ongoing financial demands, reflects a lack of transparency and accountability.I am requesting a revision at no additional cost and a partial refund for the original procedures that failed to meet the standard of care and outcome that was promised. Thank you for contacting Sono Bello. We are sorry to hear Ms. ******* is not satisfied with her surgical results, patient safety and satisfaction are our top priorities. Our center contacted Ms. ******* after we received her complaint to address her concerns, she has been scheduled to meet with our surgeon on July 14th to evaluate her results. No refund is due to Ms. ******* as all services purchased have been rendered. We look forward to seeing her at her upcoming appointment and ask that if she has any questions or concerns that she please contact our center.

I am rejecting this response because:
Upon speaking with *** ********* from Sono ***** she offered me an appointment to be evaluated by the ** concerning the issues in my complaint. I continued to ask her about the refund that was included in my complaint and she did NOT say that they would not be refunding me but they would have to evaluate me first. This company is completely bogus in what they say and do! I did not agree to a revision but an appointment only! Because of this. She played off having an unknown ** doing my surgery as it was very common to the facility. What????? Please do your research and read all these complaints first!!!
