This company doubled my subscription rate without notifying me of the change. In addition, they would not refund me. They are not accurate on their website combining all the schools with the same name together. They flood your email daily yet dont notify you of increases, etc. I will let my classmates know not to join this website. Rip off!

Just like so many before me. I received a charge of $21.60 this morning for a 3 month renewal to a subscription that I had cancelled last month. I called and told the representative that I distinctly remember turning off my automatic renewal. She told me that they had no record of that. I asked her to cancel my subscription, effective immediately, but she told me that she could not refund my $21.60. That I would have to wait until the end of the 3 month cycle that started today. What a run around! So I called **** and had the account blocked from further charges. Beware, if you get hooked by Classmates.com, they will make it far too difficult to unsubscribe. This is a predatory business.

Apparently same experience as many others. I paid a small amount for a trail offer period. Unbeknownst to me they than mark you for automatic renewal at a much higher amount in 90 days. I get emails from them daily, but NEVER received a notice that my renewal was coming up. I called them 2 days after I noticed the new $21.60 charge which they NEVER notified had even occurred. They refused to refund or provide partial credit --- saying they had no capability to reverse the charge. The comforting words were that I would not be charged after the 90 days since I had taken off the Automatic Renewal. How come many services, etc will allow cancellations and refunds???

After reading other reviews, I can see that this company has no morals. Classmates.com automatically renewed a one year subscription and said I was notified by email. When I looked for the email, it was a $10 off coupon for a yearbook and far beneath the coupon in small print was a renewal reminder. I asked for a refund and they would not give it to me. I would advise to stay away from this company...they are highly unethical.

They charged me an automatic renewal fee that I never authorized. I called the next business day to cancel and get a full refund. I received an email refusing to refund my money. I called back and I was told refunds of membership fees are against company policy. They claim if I would have canceled by 2/28th, I wouldnt have been charged at all. There is nothing legal about this! Do not sign up with this fraudulent company.

I have been emailing and calling Classmates at their member care email address for weeks now. The two times I was able to speak with an actual person, they were so unaware and unhelpful. They could not provide someone in management (email or phone contact) that could resolve my issue. Instead they kept emailing the same link on their website that I had communicated was the problem. Instead, it seem no one was reading my emails and instead kept sending me back to the same website link. That web link had a coding issue that prevented me from completing my submission. The employees seem to not know where each division was located?! I asked about the division that specifically managed the donation of class yearbooks. They refused to provide it by saying they did not have that info. It seemed they were either totally unaware or simply stonewalling. How is it that no contact info for anyone associated with Classmates is on their website? Why is that allowed with a corporation?

This is a shady business. They force you into automatic renewals and instead of notifying you when it's renewal time, they just charge your credit card whether you want it or not. You know a business is disreputable when they do that. Every business should provide notice before renewal. Otherwise, they're practically a criminal organization.
