    Excellent service. As a not very tech-savvy person, I was very happy to be able to successfully post and rent my two timeshare weeks in *****. The Redweek site is easy to use, has well-designed processes and the personnel were available and helpful when needed.

    I listed my timeshare through RedWeek using their Verified and ****************** A renter signed the agreement, submitted the required deposit, and I updated the reservation to the renters name as per the contract. Despite fulfilling my responsibilities, RedWeek later informed me that the renter had canceled before the final confirmation from Redweek, leaving me at a loss. My concerns include: Breach of Trust: The Verified and ***************** and rental agreement suggested the transaction would be secure and binding once signed. Allowing the renter to cancel without penalty undermines the reliability of this service.

    We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed that the rental didn't work out. As out team explained, the rental was never finalized and per the rental agreement, the renter chose to cancel due to a scheduling conflict.


    Terms and Conditions
    This Rental Agreement ("Agreement") is between the above identified Owner and the Renter for the rental of the unit described above ("Unit") for the term described above ("Rental Period"). The Owner has contracted with RedWeek, **** (RedWeek), which serves as the processor and facilitator of the transaction between the two parties. While RedWeek has verified the Unit information listed above with the resort, and provides assistance with the transaction, the Owner is ultimately responsible for the accuracy of the posting, changing the guest name with the resort, and ensuring the resort provides the correct unit type.
     
    1. This Agreement will become effective upon the completion of the Review Period as described in section 3.1. 
    3. Rental Payment Terms
    3.1. Upon being notified of Renter's full Rental Payment due under this Agreement, RedWeek will begin a review of the transaction (hereinafter "Review Period"). RedWeek may, in its sole discretion, require additional documentation, proof of identity, a change to the Renter's payment method, or other such information deemed necessary to confirm the rental and protect all parties. Owner agrees to change the name on the reservation and forward a new confirmation. Both Renter and Owner agree to make a best-faith effort to comply with any such requests in a timely fashion. Upon completion of the Review Period, RedWeek will issue an email confirmation ("Confirmation") to both Owner and Renter, at which point this Agreement in its entirety becomes effective (but is not in effect until such Confirmation is issued). If RedWeek does not issue a Confirmation, RedWeek will refund the Rent Payment to the Renter, at which time Renter, Owner, and RedWeek are relieved of all further obligations under this Agreement.

    3.2. Once RedWeek issues a Confirmation, neither Owner nor renter may cancel or modify this Agreement except in accordance with sections 4, 5, and 6. 
    We did not finalize this booking and neither you nor the renter received the confirmation email of such.

    I have used Redweek for 20 years. But I have NEVER rented them a room. This as my first experience. I WILL NEVER DO IT AGAIN!!!! They wont pay me a DIME until after the guest checks in. I have NEVER HAD TO DO THIS in 20 years! Everyone I rent to pays me upfront. Now you have t hope and pray you are going t get the money. If not, I am out. NEVER AGAIN REDWEEK!!!!!! You got me once, but you will never get the chance to get me again.

    Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts! The reason why we hold the funds is for the renter's protection. While rare, issues with their stay can happen and we want to make sure that the amount they paid stays safe until they've checked in and know that they're getting the rental that's described in the rental agreement.

    Legally, we have to follow the terms of the agreement, so as long as the rental goes as per the agreement and there are no valid material disputes, the owner will be paid two business days after their renter checks in.

    We know that this won't work for every owner, but it's the safest way for renters to book.

    I have used Redweek over the past few years to rent out timeshare units. The communication with Redweek **************** is superb and responses to email messages are swift, always within 24 hours or less! They make it as simple as possible to get a property listed, making sure that everything is in order to protect you as the lister as well as the client who rents your property. This service is a fantastic source for cashing in on unused timeshare units.

    First time user - used their recommendation for rental rate even though it was nearly $100 less than market - despite this posted offering only to get an even lower number by $80 - so i declined the offer to then be charged $99 and the post deactivated.I guess they just want you to give your property rental away
