1 starThis company should not be in business. My home warranty had this NW Sundance Services come and verify a gas leak that NW Natural Red Tagged our fireplace with. The technician arrived and saw the red tag attached to our fireplace and a red label warning on the key valve (so we didn't turn it on) and that the drywall was still on the wall. He was upset that NW Natural did not take the drywall off and determine exactly where the leak was and the fact the pipe was in our brick fireplace. NW Natural explicitly wrote the leak was in the gas pipe between the fireplace and the key valve. Technician did not turn gas on to verify a leak but then proceeded to tell our home warranty company the leak was at the key valve (which it wasn't but we were also not covered for). I insisted we get a second opinion from home warranty and they in fact agreed with NW Natural and showed me the meter going crazy at the fireplace, not the key valve. I also had 2 independent contractors come up and determined the leak was indeed the gas pipe in the fireplace. I called NW Sundance Services and emailed the company at least a dozen times begging for a supervisor to call me. I could not believe the technician would be so careless and lazy. I was very worried and concerned having leaking gas in my home, especially with young children. I have made a complaint with the BBB and I hope anyone that decides to use this company in the future know that this company could care less about your time, health, safety, or customer service.Review fromGloria T

1 starContractor NW Sundance Services INC,, Communicating with this contractor has been so nerve racking. The tech who came out the first time for service did not perform any service, They come out again to repair a pipe leak and shower faucet is still not complete/repaired for over two week or more. When I call the office they hang up or when they seem to see my number they hold me on the line when the service line states I'm next in line. I allege they hope I will hang up so as to not speak to me. It was communicated to me that there was to be an out of pocket charge of $425.00 from my Home Warranty to perform the work. Doing a faucet repair is part of the plan, NW Sundance stated they had to modify which did not happen. When I got the charge in my bank account NW Sundance had charge me $614,.65. The person who answers the phone always say I don't have your information, I need to send this to the supervisor. I requested a receipt for my charge and was continuously told I would get one and never did along with the repairs still not complete as of 3/28/2023. I talked to the home warranty and they both blame each other. I hope this issue gets resolved so no one else goes through this.Review fromDawn S

1 starFirst of all, their technician ****** is wonderful, but the rest of the experience was very frustrating. Every time you had to call in, it was a different phone operator and had to explain status over and over. When I was asked about the Non Covered Charge of $835 (had home warranty), it was vague and they told me they couldn't tell me the breakdown and it came from the *** The ** stated the contractor sets that NCC, they also called the contractor and they couldn't get the breakdown either. The breakdown only had two words: Code/Permit $835. After checking with local codes **** regarding permit/code fee, they shared my suspicions of being grossly overcharged. I wished I would have read the contractor reviews before the install. I was also shocked with how many complaints this company has, but is still being refered by ** companies.Review fromSalma T

1 starUnfortunately, one of the worst customer service experiences we've ever had. This company was assigned to us by our home warranty company, First American, for a request we placed on 12 Feb. We discovered that our duct work was spewing soot every time we turned the furnace on. So initially we made an appointment for today, as that was the first available. The company called us the day before, on a Sunday, to tell us the technician can't come out due to the weather, and that they would not have anyone available until next Monday. When I specified that this was an emergency and someone had to come out to help us, their receptionist showed absolutely no empathy, and didn't offer any other solution. No offering a cancellation appointment, nothing. And we had already been without heat in the freezing cold of the last few days. I called again today, only to receive the response that the *one* technician that they had cancelled yesterday for medical reasons. However, that was not what was conveyed the day prior. When confronted on this, the receptionist dismissed us, saying that they're booked up through March, and that this was the soonest available appointment, and that "we were prioritized" despite this claim being placed over two weeks ago. Ultimately, we were made to feel like we didn't matter. With more inclement weather on the way, we can't afford to go without heat. We decided to cancel the appointment and ask the warranty company to choose another contractor, because this is no way to treat working people.Review fromYS L

1 starIf I could rate this negative stars I would. I have not written a review for a company or business in many years. However our experience was so terrible that I had to tell others to stay far way. We have been without ************* for 3 MONTHS. Yes; 3 months. We have two young kids, and its the middle of December. We were assigned NW Sundance through our home warranty company. They came out and assessed our water heater and determined it was broken, so a replacement was ordered. Thats where the good ends. We have spent 3 months constantly calling to find where our water heater is. The home warranty company sent it tons warehouse, however Sundance cant seem to locate it. When theyve gone to the warehouse they have told us that there isnt anything remotely resembling that part there. So I took it upon myself to call this warehouse after getting its location. Drum roll please, the warehouse is called ******** Plumbing Supply. Correct me if Im wrong, but to me that sounds like the perfect place for a hot water tank to be located. My husband has spent hours on the phone between the warranty and NW Sundance. NW Sundance has hung up on him multiple times while hes been on hold. Its near impossible for him to even contact anyone. Whenever we do, we are told the same thing, that they cant do anything about it. My home warranty company has spoken to them and requested them to email the home warrantys purchase department so they can find the ** order to locate the part. Has anyone returned their emails? Ill give you a guess. Weve asked for multiple calls back from them for any resolution or update, we havent received a single one.We have documents 3 months of all contact my husband has made on his end, with nothing reciprocated on NW Sundances part Its been a constant headache and honestly a huge stressor in our lives to not have any hot water for three months. We arent taking this lightly and legal action will follow.Review fromDiana D

1 starNW Sundance Services threaten to put me in collection after a mistake made from the home warranty service. Initially, I was told when putting in the order to only pay one service fee. It was on 2 separate toilets in the same house. When they came, they wanted to collect two service fee of $75. I told them I would pay for one and not two like they told me on the phone. This was on a Friday. On Monday morning, manager left a message on my phone that if they don't get paid by end of today they are putting me in collections. I called back to let her know I am waiting for home warranty to call me back with an update. I even asked her how to spell her name so I know how it is pronounced correctly. She refuse to spell it and said I sounded hostile and said she will put me in collection now and hung up. I called back and asked to speak with owner and if this was based in *******. Employee said she is and that my file is in collection. I asked to speak with mgr/owner and she said the manager is the same person I had spoken to earlier, & it is in collection now. At this point I see no point of trying to resolve with these two. I went online to put in reviews and got a respond back from owner who only responded that I should contact with the home warranty and that they collect what was told by home warranty. At no point, I was told why I was going to be put in collection so quickly. It makes me wonder why someone is so haste in collecting $75 instead of doing the right thing. I agreed to pay for one service fee and trying to resolve the second but they did not want to hear it. I was trained as a mystery shopper to help company get happier customers yet this company is so quick to make people upset. I was able to reach someone from home warranty and she said one fee should have been waived so she redid paperwork. Whether they actually put me in collection or not, this is not how to talk to customers. This is why I wrote the reviews because I saw something not right.Review fromLisa G

1 starAssigned by Home Warranty (American Home Shield). Type of Work: Home Central A/C.NW Sundance is irresponsible and unresponsive. It took almost 4 weeks from the time I placed my service request to when the technicians showed up to do the work. My A/C wasn't cooling again and it's had a history of leaking refrigerant so I requested a leak test. While they were able to verify it was out of refrigerant again, they could not find the leak. They told me since they could not find the leak, they could not fix it and the only option was to keep refilling it with Freon every time it gets low (which I have been told by other Contractor's is against EPA law). I requested that if they could not find the leak to fix it, could they recommend replacement since Freon is becoming more scarce and expensive--they refused to recommend replacement. (But they would quote me a new system at retail price separate from the warranty coverage. What?!)When I attempted to contact the warranty company to discuss coverage/options, the warranty company said NW Sundance had not submitted their diagnosis summary and thus I could not discuss other options. I and the warranty company tried to contact NW Sundance for weeks and could not get a hold of them. I had a new A/C quoted and installed by another Contractor before NW Sundance ever responded to the warranty company.Review fromAnthony H
