I try to get a divorce and I did contact online ohio divorce first time they asked me for a silver pay that was $399.00 for 12 months. I asked if they going to do everything they tell me yes except your signature.after that they don't want to do anything and I cancel second time I was looking for another to get my divorce and I do found the same page I don't know was the same and they have my credit card on file and charge me another $199.00 with out my permission I call and they tell me I have no refund that hapen 15 minutes after they charge meBusiness Response

Customer accounts must be active to have account access. We have a monthly subscription fee that can be canceled anytime. The customer receives an email reminder seven days before any automated subscription charge. I hired ****************************************************** and had to get a loan from **********. ****************************************************** never contacted me, so I had to hire another attorney. I informed ********** and they investigated it. Even though I received no services from OregonOnlineDivorce Affirm wants me to pay for that loan. Affirm violated their own rules about canceling loans if services or goods are not received. I am concerned that ****************************************************** is a scam. Affirm should go after OregonOnline for the return of their money.Business Response

Affirm is still claiming they didnt receive all the refund back from ****** Online Divorce. Affirm also split them up into 5 accounts and are trying to make me pay interest on all of them. I agreed to ghe $39.99 fee from Online Divorce but because they didnt follow through there should be no interest charged on any of it. I am starting to feel Affirm may be a scam.Business Response

The business charged a base fee $159 for free paperwork with zero filing. Then after the paper work was filled out the website stated that the process was not complete without a phone call to an agent who tried to sign me up for more services. I then received an email stating that I responsible for a new monthly fee that neither the agent or the website listed. I also received an invoice for $399 for services that I declined. I called the agent to request to cancel the unprocessed order and unprocessed documents. I requested a refund through affirm stating that I cancelled my order through the online divorce llc company. The next agent I spoke with at online divorce LLc simply told me to calm down when I asked for cancellation of services that have not been processed he transferred me to a "customer **********************" agent. I requested again to cancel the service, I expressed that I didn't believe it was legitimate, there were hidden fees and other unrequested charges. The customer ********************** agent said he would cancel the hidden monthly fees but had already processed the $159. I responded that I could clearly see on the website and the affirm account that this was not true and to cancel my account since it had all occurred within 1 hour. He denied me again and lied saying the same excuse. I said I would contact you and report to BBB, Affirm and find a legal service. We do not charge for forms or pay court filing fees for our customers. We charge for using our website, where our customers can access our questionnaire. Once they complete the questionnaire and submit their answers, their forms are generated based on their answers. They can download and print the form and file them with the court. We do offer upgraded packages, however, they are entirely optional.

In Jan 2024 visited the website onlinedivorcecalifornia.com to help me with divorce forms. The website claims $139 for the forms and no hidden fees. However, I was charged additional $39.9 each month for subscription which I didnt find out until 3 months later. There had been no communication or receipt about the charges. I only found out on my credit card statements. I emailed and asked about this. They stopped further charges but refused to return the $119.7 that was already charged wrongfully.Business Response

We have contacted this customer and let them know that we do have a monthly subscription fee that is automatically deducted from our customer's accounts, but it can be canceled at any time. Seven days before they are charged, they receive an automated email warning about the fee and information about canceling the subscription. On the day the subscription fee is charged, they receive an automated email receipt of the charge.
As soon as this customer canceled the subscription fee, they were no longer charged.

This simply is not true. Had I not checked my credit card statements, I would never have found out. And when you say automatic deduction, did you obtain any form of consent for that?

Our system sends automated emails to every subscribed customer monthly regarding the upcoming subscription. Additionally, before purchase, you agreed to the terms of service.

I would like a refund for the services I never received. I sent a request for a refund over a month ago and have not heard back from anyone. You all did not provide me with any services and sent me an email regarding paperwork after I called and canceled my services and placed my request for a refund. Prior to my written request I called your costumer service number canceled my service and was transferred to a different representative to process my refund request. At this point I was on hold and the line disconnected on your end. I then went online requested a refund via your website and called a second time. My second call to your customer ********************** number the gentleman advised I could not get a refund because everything had been processed. I have yet to understand what everything is but as far as Im concerned a service was not provided. i have tried to fill out these forms and edit them, each time i get pushed back and can not complete the forms. then when i try to make an edit and i have to wait 2 business days for them to approve the edit and then try again to make another edit. it will not allow me to mark that only a female is not pregnant and insist that the male person has to be marked as not pregnant. there have been problems after problems trying to get the forms filled out. and what should have been an easy process is one delay after another. i could have printed these forms myself and handwritten the answers and filed these already. yet here i am still waiting to get this done and the forms are still not complete.Business Response

I paid this company $550.00 to write up my divorce forms, every time there was an issue with doing so and they wanted to keep charging more and more money. I said forget it cancel everything I want a refund and now they said since its past the 30 days they will not refund me.Business Response
