2/8/23 Online divorce services. Filled out information including Social Security numbers and paid a fee. Once I received the confirmation I noticed that it did not look professional. I immediately called to cancel and the was denied a refund. I also was not provided with adequate support. The same man answered 3 times and was very unprofessional. I believe this site is a scam.Business Response

We have made multiple attempts to resolve this with the customer. We called and left a voice message on February 8, 2023. We followed up with an email that same day and again on February 16th. The customer has not responded to us.
As part of our Divorce service, our questionnaire asks for personal information. That information is needed and only used in their divorce forms. No information is asked that is not needed. Per the customer's request, we have deleted their account.Initial Complaint

TX508383161 Is the case number. On December 11,2022 I filed for a refund. I received a response which said agree to the terms and respond to an email which I did. I have waited and made several attempts to contact their infamous return department with no Luck. None responds to emails and they have refused to refund my money. They all give me the same answer and No supervisor is available to speak with. I dont understand why they are stealing my money. I need my money back I never used there . This Organization/Company is a fraud. They false advertised they have a 30 day money back guarantee. They have gotten two separate payments one in the amount of $139 and the other for $35 to change my last name. Once I paid that amount step 3 was to answer more questions which I did and I was sent a message stating I would hear back from someone. However no one contacted me other then wanting more money. I called speaking to several employees and their supervisor ****** stating I had no account nor did they receive payments. Nevertheless, I explained to ****** that it clear that they in fact received two payments from me and since no seems to be honest I want my money back as advertised on their website. I payed November 7, 2022 and I'm still getting the run around about returning my refund.Business Response

I filed for a divorce in April of 2022. I paid for the filing as well as court costs. I have yet to receive any paperwork with this service. I have plenty of correspondence and *** called a plethora of times. The customer ********************** keeps giving me so many excuses. I dont know what else to do. This divorce involves nothing other than signatures. There are no assets/ children involved in this filing. I dont know what else to do. Ive spent close to *******. We originally mailed this customer their documents in May. The customer sent us everything needed for their case to be successfully filed in August. We sent everything to the court at the end of August and their case was filed in September. We mailed the respondent their documents and as soon as we get them back, we will complete the Platinum Service.

On 9/8/22 i was charged $9.99 on my credit card that i did not authorize from this company. I had signed up for their services over a year ago but decided not to go through with them due to extremely poor customer ********************** and ******************** support. I had also cancelled my subcription at that time. Now over a year later they continued to charge me for a service that i had cancelled. This is truly unetical. I did not even received any courtesy email warning me for this upcoming charge so i would have called them and tell them that they had clearly overlooked at the fact that i had cancelled my subscription for their service. This company is a pretatory company as they prey on people going through their most vulnerable moments requiring assistance for a divorce.Business Response

This is an online divorce service, I got their information online and signed up on February 16th, 2022. I've paid for the services I sought and provided my banking information...of which is required for services. However, I've reached out asking for the documents to begun my divorce *** I've gotten nothing not even a mailed letter stating what steps have been taken since February 16th, 2022. When I go on their site to check on my case, it's states: 'documents are being filed, we need more information..." Upon providing the requested information, I haven't received anything from them, yet I've paid upwards of $450 for services of which I haven't received anything...yet once again they continued billing me until I finally wised up and stop payment. Upon receiving several emails about a new payment method, I requested whatever information if any they may have and I can proceed elsewhere. To this date, nearly 6 months later I haven't received anything. I asked for my money back, and still no response. I saved all my emails.Business Response

Poor business etiquette. I paid for tickets plus insurance just in case I wasn't able to attend if an emergency occurred. My daughter became ill, and we weren't able to attend. SeatGeek was notified several days prior via their email address below. I was denied a refund even for my insurance I paid for the 4 tickets. I'm down $146 and not even a credit. I paid 139$ to use the services on this online divorce website with faith in their advertisement for "30 Day money back Guarantee!". Upon the discovery that their website actually couldn't accommodate my needs (less than an hour after paying the money) I called and requested a refund. I was then told that I was only eligible for a 50% refund because I began their questionare (I had gotten to question 4 out of 38). When I brought up the fact that they promised a full refund on their website page, and there was no find print to corroborate with this 50% refund, they wouldn't budge. She forwarded me to a "manager" which was actually just a voicemail. I left a message and received no call back. 2 hours later I called again only to be again told that I could only get 50% of my refund back. Bear in mind, they have given me NO services for which I could pay for. They had done nothing for me that would render me liable to pay them anything. Moreover, they dishonestly advertise a 30 Day money back guarantee which they clearly do not honor. They gave me steps to fill out a refund request. I took the steps and informed them that if they chose to withhold the full amount of my refund that I would be filing a complaint with the BBB. So, they not only ignored that promise, but sent back an email informing me that they have given me a 50% refund in the amount of 69.50$ which will appear in my account in 5-7 business days. That dishonest business and robbery. And for 70$? Please help me resolve this.Business Response
