    Wyze lack of security has allowed hackers access the ** card through the app and allowing access to my personal data and have been controlling the app by changing the settings and having access to live view. In May 2023 I have contacted and advised them that my account has been hacked. For four months they kept asking for log files, pictures, lying that they were going to replace my device and after all that they had decided to send me a $5 discount card toward a new purchase telling me that my camera was out of warranty. Five months of back and forth talking to their customer service/tech supports was just a waste of time. Furthermore, a few weeks ago upon login in the app, I have received an offer for a 30 day trial which was already used when I signed up with them in April. I was thinking that they were trying to redeem themselves and do something good. But to my surprise it was another scam as upon signing for the trial using my PayPal account, they had answered back to the email associated with my PayPal account and not the email associate to my current Wyze account. I sent emails, requested to speak to a supervisor, whom was asking the same information again. I have quickly changed my passwords and unsubscribed but they are still able to send me offers and asking me for my review regarding the new account. I have questioned how was that possible and as usual Wyze Labs had nothing to say. FYI: **** had a lawsuit against them for the same and more reasons related to the security of the app, which got dismissed in March 2023 because they had settled. That is not their first lawsuit. Meanwhile they have done nothing to rectify the issues with the app and using consumers as their trials and errors. Wyze needs to be held accountable.

    ************* Products not as advertised, terrible consumer practices geared towards trapping you into monthly subscriptions. Transferring to six different customer support Representatives from phone and email that act like they don't know what was happening with the first one in order to make you give up. Complete liars and scammers choose a different company. All the other reviews here are true.

    Forced to give 1 Star but deserves ZERO stars! Horrible customer service! I first purchased a ********************** Plus subscription for $39.99 and then upgraded to their Unlimited Cam Plus subscription which cost me $99.99. I have contacted them so many times on the phone, via email and on chat to refund the original $39.99 since they are charging me twice for the same service. I keep getting the run around. And STILL NO REFUND. This is unethical and wrong of their company to not resolve this double charge!

    This company should be banned from doing business in *****************. Chinese owned, WYZE has been charged with sharing customers data with its home office - and eventually with the **** Only once you purchase one of their products, in my case two indoor/outdoor cameras, you are told you must pay $130-170 to to register you and allow you to connect the cameras to your wifi. This fee is never mentioned in any of their product information. It is blatantly false advertising. They should be investigated and s*** down.

    **** created a second account in my name and began double-charging my PayPal account. I went through their complaint process, thought it was resolved, and yet here they are this month charging me again. Their automated chatbot is designed to defeat communication, offering forced choices that have nothing to do with your issue.

    They apparently have an issue where if the battery goes out on some version one door sensors and motion sensors that you are s*** out of luck after that. You can replace the batteries in the unit and it gets power but after talking with tech-support for the last hour, theres nothing you can do with it as it wont connect to your camera/bridge any longer. What the h*** is with that? WYZE you need to send out replacement devices to consumers who bought version 1s and simply had to change batteries in them at no fault of their own.

    I am one month into a renewal for my Wyze Cam Plus subscription this year, which I was planning to unsubscribe from earlier, to but I missed the renewal date. I wanted to cancel my renewal because upon review, I realized that I do not even use the features of the Wyze Cam Plus subscription. I reached out to Wyze support for a prorated refund for the remaining amount of time left on my subscription, (11 months) and they were unwilling to provide me with said refund, stating that it goes against their return policy. I just want to state that whatever their refund policy is, it is terrible, and is not helpful to customers like me who haven't used the product they paid for (11 months' worth of product), and have already unsubscribed to the service, and who want to salvage something of what they paid, because they are not going to be using what they paid for. I now understand the low rating that Wyze has on the BBB.

    Horrible customer service. If you ever have a problem dont expect any level of competency from their support team. You have to work with them through chat/email only and receive nothing but platitudes and unhelpful responses. I have 10 cameras and two smart plugs and when I upgraded my service to Cam+ Unlimited Cameras they readily took my money, failed to credit my account for the remaining 8 months of my original service plan, and I still do not have unlimited camerasAND THIS TRANSACTION TOOK PLACE IN APRIL OF THIS YEAR! Stay away from these crooks. Not worth the money or aggravation.

    This company is useless once you purchase home monitoring. I have had two separate occasions where my alarm was completely down. Weeks have gone by on both occasions and my home was not secured with an alarm. I have emailed, called (no phone number I have comes with a human person to talk to) I have been on chat with a bot, I have been on social media begging for help. This company takes your money and leaves their customers to navigate their products without them. I finally just gave up and purchased another home security product.
