      It was such an easy process to review, select and order my engine from this company. Upon further diagnosis I didn’t have a blown engine but a minor service issue. I called and spoke with *** to understand and gather information to return the motor. She was amazing and very helpful. She not only worked with me through this process but stayed in touch with me every step of the way during my return shipment. Communication is so important and having her reach out and chat with her upbeat personality was awesome. Thanks ***, because of you I highly recommend you and your company to anyone looking for engine or transmission needs.

      If I could rate a negative star I would. They were asking for things that had nothing to do with my car, wanting my entire vin number, and refusing to send the engine until I gave them the info. I ended up calling them and they didn't want to hear a single word from me. They would only speak to my boyfriend about the order I placed for my car. They continually called me a liar and said I didn't give them correct information then saying I didn't send them ANY information. When he told them that we knew the engine ordered was not for the car I had listed and that we were upgrading under the hood, they wouldn't hear it. They had emailed me a link to the exact engine I had ordered but kept telling me I ordered the wrong one and they needed my personal information and full vin to make sure. They also kept saying that it had been more than 24 hours since I placed the order so they weren't able to send the money back, but they also would not send the engine. I told them that was wrong and my confirmation said it had been 12 hours. They kept changing up the reason they needed my information, the reason they wouldn't give back the money, and the reason they wouldn't send the product we already paid for. No matter how much we tried to tell them it wasn't their business and we paid for the product so it was ours, they wouldn't change their mind. We had to threaten lawyers and explain that we had proof to them emailing and texting me before they were willing to cancel. They are the most unprofessional people who are sexist and rude toward their customers the moment they get money out of the buyer.

This is standard practice to avoid shipping incompatible parts, which can result in costly returns and installation issues.
      In your case, there was confusion regarding the engine application, and our team attempted multiple times to clarify this. At no point was anyone called a liar or treated unfairly we maintain records of all communication for accuracy and accountability. We understand emotions can run high, but our job is to protect both the buyer and seller through due diligence.

      Funny you say you maintain records of things. If you did, you would not have continually said I was giving wrong information and that the engine was different than what I needed. I have email evidence of me explaining my car as well as me explaining what I'm looking for. I also have email evidence of the link your people sent toe for the exact engine I ordered. So you guys knew already that I did not need to give the vin if you were sending me a link to the engine. Also, if I ordered the wrong part, why would you guys send me that link to begin with? Plus that engine was for my car, as the description said it for my exact car. To top it all off, regardless of what I bought, I gave you the money. Therefore you don't get to say whether or not I can have what I bought. I told you guys multiple times that my vin was not needed as I bought the part knowing exactly what I was doing. Most of that phone calls was you guys refusing to talk to me and continually saying you couldn't hear me and then talking over me to talk to my boyfriend and he had to repeat what I was saying to you. Also, I would prefer to do this publicly because I do not trust you guys to not be completely rude to me. As for the liar thing, you do not have to physically say someone is a liar if you treat them like one and you guys told my boyfriend multiple times that I gave inaccurate information and then changing that to say I did not give ANY information, then back to saying not enough.

      In the end I had a very positive experience. I ordered a used transmission for my 2005 **** Five Hundred. It was shipped timely, and my shop installed it just fine. It failed on its fifth day. Here's where BUAP showed its mettle. ****** assured me I would be taken care of, and I was. BUAP found, tested, and sent a replacement all at no charge. It's now installed and working well--after only two days so far. ****** was polite, communicative, and empathetic to my situation. He did not make me ship back the first transmission. Like I said, in the end a positive experience. Other companies might have made my warranty claim process difficult or onerous--BUAP and ****** did not. Rating was only 4 stars because the first transmission did fail after all. **** stepped up their game after that though. Here's hoping the replacement keeps running.
