I'm trying to get in touch about a warranty question, now 2 years post-installation, and all their contact information is out of service - none of the phone numbers work. I cant find any way to contact them, which is unacceptable.

I believe Solgen company is a scam. I wouldn't advise anyone to get tricked to getting scammed. They don't answer calls.very poor communication. I have tried reaching out to them multiple times to no avail. More than 2 years now and the solar system doesn't work. I hope they can take their solar panel down from my house. Solgen panel worked for the first few months then stopped functioning. What a waste of time and money.Solgen Power LLC

Was told that in the sales pitch that the power produced would off set the energy cost to the electric company. That never happened and the cost of the project for the panels was outrageous and way above the national average. Now we are stuck paying for an expensive product that fell extremely short of the expectation that wad portrayed by the salesman for solgen power.Solgen Power LLC

1 starThe worst company I have ever dealt with. 3 years in and the offset is no where near the 80%. Dry clothes outside, turn up thermostat and close to 60%. Company gives nothing but excuses. Please do not use them. You will get ripped off like me. ScammersReview fromDavid K

1 starAt 1st everything was as described. Took 6 months to get going. Now they are unable to live up to their plan. Their monitoring ap is particularly weak. Their panels do not perform as expected and I'm still paying for outside power. Their CS is very weak and they don't know what they speak about. I was told "I'm going to hang up now" and then dead air. Called back and get the same person. Asked for supervisor was told "no". I rereferral 2 other customers but thanks to ************ will not be referring any future customers.Review fromCraig M

3 starsOur service isn't complete yet. We started the journey march of 2023 and were told to expect around 6 months from start to finish. The initial phases started off smooth, financing, planning, permitting etc. **************** was good and kept us up to date with the phone application. When scheduling the install of the new roof, we didn't hear anything for several months and finally got it installed in September. From there we didn't hear anything from Solgen about panel installation until December of 2023. This was scheduled a week later and when the installers arrived it was cold, and they were unable to remove the ice from the roof and left saying someone would call the next day to reschedule. I didn't hear anything for 2 weeks and then called and left a voicemail. A week later I got a call, and the installation of the panels was scheduled. The panels went up February 2024. About a week later they called to schedule the inspection and on the inspection date the inspector never showed up. It's been 2 months, now April of 2024, and I've called multiple times and left voicemails trying to get the ball rolling on the updating of the power box and inspection of the solar panels and have not had a response. Another aspect of this is that the original financer dropped out in December and did not specify why. At this time Solgen had also made adjustments to the solar system because they had updated the installation of the panels to a newer updated type. Solgen attempted to get an extension for the loan, but it was denied. Solgen was very prompt to help us apply with a new financer, Good Leap. It has now been over 1 year since we started this journey of having these installed and running and the project is currently in limbo, and we are on our second loan servicer. At the moment we are unsure what is going on because no one has responded to our calls. So far from what I have seen the workers are great and things have been installed well. Our experience with solgen has been wonderful. Initially we were told it would take about 4 months to be up and running., thankfully the city and solgen worked extremely efficiently. We were up and running in a month. Our electricity bill has gone from about $400 -$275 to $125 at most to $2.00. And in some months $0.00. Obviously we also had to change our light bulbs and be more continuous about turning off lights we don't need during the day, solar panels aren't going to do all the job we must also help.Solgen Power LLC

Have been lied to over and over by this company. They will say whatever it takes to get you to sign a contract then say well fine print says. I have reached out multiple times about issues and other things to have handled and get told someone will reach back out and never does. Stay away from them.Solgen Power LLC
