1 starMy experience with Solgen was ok at first. My experience now is that they have very Poor communication, project management, and scheduling skills. My system is still not functioning properly. Frankly I'm amazed they are still in business.Review fromRandy S

Ive had my panels installed a couple years ago and Solgen power had to go through a lot of problems with my Energy company (Duke energy). And issues with my HOA approvals and countless city and county permits. But overall Solgen power did a wonderful job installing my panels and the **** contractors were all on schedule and polite. Solgen power went through a lot of c*** with city and county officials to get my panels activated and I appreciate the effort and kindness from this company. I would recommend Solgen power to many people wanting their electric bill gone in spring, summer and fall months. Remember everyone Dec,Jan,Feb,half of March youll receive a bill from your Energy company for lack of sun. ( Im still hoping that Soren power will start selling backup batteries soon). That way I can disconnect (Duke Energy) that constantly goes out. Thanks Solgen power

************************* LLC WAS THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR ON MY SOLAR INSTALLATION. THE ACTUAL INSTALLERS WERE CORE ENERGY GROUP OUT OF *******. I HAVE HAD A DIFFACULT TIME GETTING THE INSTALLERS TO RESPOND TO ME . YOUR SOLAR PANELS ARE NOT PERFORMING THE WAY I WAS TOLD THEY WOULD 26 KW WHICH HAS DROPPED TO 10 KW WHAT A RIP NOT EVEN DOING 1% OF WHAT WE WERE TOLD IT WOULD DO . Initially we were very pleased with the Solgen Power solar power system. However after a year we noticed that we payed MUCH MORE than a pittance to ****************. In performing an analysis of power consumption vs solar generation it was clear that the system was significantly under designed. That is, the system produced only 62% of our consumption over 2 years rather than the 94% promised in the initial presentation. After 6 months of nagging the company, they finally took the time to design and propose corrective action. But, they wanted $24,000 to install the make-up system. Rather than just allow us to pay for materials and split the labor, they wanted us to pay the whole cost of the installation. Worse yet, our neighbor that has a Solgen system, produces only 21% of consumption after performing the same analysis and they responded to his query that the system works as designed. Needless to say, they are also unhappy. I would not recommend Solgen Power.Solgen Power LLC

While we do our best to provide a system to meet your goals, there are many factors to consider. We appreciate your feedback. It's important to note that our guarantee is to install the specified system size that was agreed upon during the initial project planning. This means that if you wish to add additional solar capacity for a further offset, any additions would be considered a new project. We started our journey with Solgen in early fall 2022. They said it would take 3 months to install, 6 to start. They installed late May 2023 and we are still waiting to turn it on. I have sent multiple emails, texts, and calls over this past year and response times are weeks, even over a month in between. Our building inspector showed up today and said it took him months to coordinate it because their response time was so slow. Our customer service manager has turned over so many times I can't count, there is no reliable point person. When we do hear from someone we get differing answers per exchange. We received one "I apologize for the wait, we are changing some of our processes." But nothing more than that. I can't even get someone there to call and talk to me about my complaints. I am NEVER a complainer, but I sure wish I had gone through a different company, this has been beyond ridiculous, especially for a price tag of over 50k. I am literally making monthly payments currently about 10 months after starting with them with nothing working. I have never had such bad customer service in my life.Solgen Power LLC

We are so happy with our new solar system. We are producing more power than we use and are enjoying the benefits of having a ZERO BALANCE on our energy bill each month. The experience with Solgen from start to finish was seamless and the team has been fantastic. The whole process from ordering, installation, financing, and support has been wonderful. I really appreciate the way Solgen handled our solar power project.From start to finish communication was top notch and the project went smoothly.The only reason why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because a few months after the project was completed, we found a leak somewhere on our roof.Fortunately, this was not in the same location where the solar panels were installed but in hindsight, I would have liked Solgen to refer me to someone that could do a full roof/attic inspection at the beginning of the project so that we replaced the roof (if needed) and bundled the roof replacement with the solar project for even bigger savings through tax incentives.Solgen Power LLC
