Completely unable to purchase support for a Windows Server 2022 product that is not functioning properly. The services hub website is throwing an error: "We encountered an issue while retrieving your data. Please click here to try again or call in your support request."I have spoken with Support, which directs me back to the same website that is not working. They have instructed me to use private browsing mode, clear the cache, and create a fresh Microsoft account, all of which have been done over and over. They deny any issues with the website even though it does not work. Instead of pursuing resolution, they hang up on me. We have a nonfunctional Microsoft server product and Microsoft is completely unable to provide a path to obtain support on this product.

Microsoft was finally able to help me solve the original issue by opening a ticket, but I am still not able to purchase individual incidents.

As they have solved the original issue anyway, we can close this.

Ive been locked out of my Microsoft account **************************** since April 7, 2025 at around 10:40 PM, when it was compromised. This account is connected to my Xbox (gamertag: LG7771), Minecraft (username: 0Archived), and my Windows laptop. While I can still use the laptop itself, Im locked out of all Microsoft services tied to the account.I emailed ******************** support on April 8, 2025 around 45 PM and submitted my first recovery form shortly after. I submitted a second form a few days later and was told Id receive a response within 72 hours. Its now been over a week since that promised follow up and two full weeks since my first email with no response at all.I replied to the support ticket wanting an update but never got any acknowledgment. I also have screenshots documenting the compromise, including the server involved, but I havent been given any option to submit them or speak with someone who can review ******* this point, Ive tried every method available through Microsofts support system, and Ive gotten no help. Im asking for this to be escalated to someone who can actually assist in recovering my account. I just want to regain access and get a proper response.

Hi, my name is ***** ****. Today my Xbox account was banned permanently by Microsoft. The username on the account was ***** and the email used was ********************* I have had this account for nearly 10 years and have done nothing wrong. I have probably spent around $5,000 on this account between games and add ons and now I have no ability to access this whatsoever. I am not looking for a refund of the money but rather just my account back and unbanned. This behavior from a massive corporation is unfair to someone like me as I have no way to legally fight this. I am asking that the BBB assist me in helping me get my account back or a full refund of all money spent on the account. Thank you for taking the time to read this, have a great day!

      Dear ***** ****,

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Corporation through the Better Business Bureau regarding your Xbox Live account.  Your Gamertag was found to be in violation of the Xbox Terms of Use or the Xbox Live Code of Conduct and subsequently banned from accessing Xbox Live.

We have taken additional steps to review and reconfirm the enforcement action taken against the Gamertag and stand behind the decision. This account was suspended for engaging in solicitation. Solicitation refers to using Xbox for commercial purposes, including buying, selling, or trading content or services that violate the Microsoft Services Agreement and Xbox Community Standards. For additional details, see the Stay Safe section of our website (*************************************************************************).

Solicitation and inappropriate commercial activity allows players to profit from activities that hurt or pose a danger to other Xbox Live members. This activity is also unfair and can enable players to gain content without actually earning it. In order to ensure the safety of all Xbox Live members and the integrity of Xbox Live, solicitation cannot be permitted.

For more information about participating on Xbox Live in a safe and productive way, refer to the Microsoft Services Agreement (**************************************************************) and Microsoft's Community Standards for Xbox (**********************************************************************).

      Sincerely,

      Microsoft Corporation

I am rejecting this response because: There still has not been any actually evidence provided to prove this claim by Microsoft. Everything is based on statements made by Microsoft with no evidence. In addition to this, to lifetime ban someone who has been a customer for over 15 years for solicitation does not seem to match up. I am asking Microsoft to reconsider as I have spent large amounts of money on this account that they are no blocking me from. If they are unable to ***** my account I would like a refund for all of the games and products Ive purchased that they just banned me from using ever again. They have essentially robbed me of thousands of dollars with little to no consequence. My $500 console received a month ban for no apparent reason as well. To me it seems someone had a bad day and decided to take it out on someone they do not know for no apparent reason.

      Sincerely,

      ***** ****

The Microsoft Xbox enforcement team suspended my account for one year and did not provide any details of why I was suspended. I submitted a case review to their enforcement team on the day of receiving the said suspension and told them in my case review that I didnt violate any terms and conditions because I wasnt even using my account at that time as I was away from my Xbox on a camping trip. And the review process only took place for less than 1 minute so I believe a bot immediately denied my appeal without any evidence in this ******* Xbox gamertag: DiscountBut My email associated with my Xbox account: ************************** I would like to have this matter investigated thoroughly and my account unsuspended due to that there is no possible way I couldve violated Xboxs terms of service while I wasnt even able to use their service as I was away on a camping trip and I had no access to their Xbox platform at all while on this camping trip As I checked my enforcement history on my account, it shows that I have no suspensions and no prior suspensions on my account but when I log onto my Xbox console it shows I have a suspension.

I am completely locked out of my primary *********** business email account *********************************** Microsofts recovery system only sends a code to that same account, making recovery impossible.Their support site returns a black screen error (An unexpected error occured), and the provided escalation email ************************************************** is invalid. This account is tied to my LLC, ********** Creations, and is critical for communication with clients, financial institutions, and government services.I have submitted multiple formal requests and posted in Microsofts community forums. My Microsoft account was hacked. This has caused many problems with fraudulent email activity, but the biggest problem has been my XBox live account that I had spent a great deal of money purchasing games over the years. I am unable to login to this account and I have tried several times to call Microsoft customer service to resolve the issue. **************** is horrible. They hang up on me every time. I would like to have an actual conversation with a Microsoft representative to see if my account purchases and activity can be saved and moved to a new account.
