I keep trying to talk to someone on the phone at Microsoft and their process to speak with someone on the phone is absent. I've requested a call back from agents and chat because the phone line does not provide an option to speak with someone so I purchased a product through Microsoft I expect to be treated with courtesy call me. This is why the Better Business Bureau is being filed.Business Response

I am being charged $7.99 per month from Miscrosft Realms. I have tried to cancel this subscription at least 6 times. I have had no success in being able to cancel this subscription or even find the correct pathway in which to deal with this. I want this payment stopped immediately. I would also like a refund for the last 6 months of payment.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: they are not putting me in direct contact such as a phone or direct link to someone who can cancel this subscription. They only sent me to generic articles on how to cancel and they do not directly provide any customer support. I need direct contact to someone to cancel. Not a generic link. Has occurred for 7 days. I have been trying to resolve an issue with my emails. I have made (including today) 12 telephone calls to try to resolve the issue. I have been on the telephone with representatives each time. I have asked to to ***************** and I have received every excuse you can think of and then they hang up. I have tried to work with them to no avail. Some have said they will call me back and never do. They gave me what was their line ***********). This is not a valid number. My ninth call yesterday after 45 minutes said he will need to call me back and never back. I want my issues resolved. On April 19, 2025, microsoft Corporation banned my xbox Console and *************#***** , blocking xbox Live and offline access to purchased single-player digital games. The enforcement page listed a violation following trash talking to another player. I appealed, acknowledging the violation. An email (April 23, 2025) stated the ban was for manipulation of xbox services, which I absolutely did not commit, suggesting an error, false report, or unauthorized activity. I initially thought the console ban was for the trash talking, considering it happened the day after the incident. When I appealed that is what it was in reference to, seeing the reason for the ban was manipulation of xbox services was utterly bewildering. I have absolutely no clue what this in reference to. One and a half months later, the enforcement page for Tr4sh#**** still displays Sorry, we can't get notifications right now. Try again later. .The enforcement page for Hopz (main account tied to the *********************** shows no bans or infractions regarding the incident.. The console ban is not listed in enforcement history on either account and ********************** have no provided any explanation to these unfounded accusations. The console ban prevents offline play of ALL purchased games due to a Home xbox setting failure. Attempting to play offline triggers an error requiring an internet connection or to play offline. After going offline, another error demands setting the console as Home xbox to play offline, but the setting is impossible to trigger without internet. This loop renders offline play impossible, denying access to every single game I have ever purchased. I contacted xbox Support via live chat (April 2025). The agent provided no information and advised replying to the enforcement email, a non-standard suggestion. microsoft has not clarified the ban reason shift, enforcement error, or offline play issue. ***** ***** ********************* Gamertags: Hopz, Tr4sh#**** Xbox Serial # : ************Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: Following your recent response to my Better Business Bureau complaint. your letter told me to contact the enforcement team at **********************************************, but its clear my complaint wasnt properly reviewed. If it had been, youd know the enforcement page is broken for the secondary account ******#*****. For months, its shown the error: Sorry, we cant get notifications right now. Try again later. This means Ive never seen any details about my ban on the siteno reason, no duration, nothing. Only an ambiguous email stating the account "manipulated ********************** services" which is strange considering the ban happened the day after I called somebody a slur.Your email claimed the ban was for manipulating Xbox services, but this makes absolutely no sense. The ban hit the day after I used offensive language in a message (I called someone a derogatory term, which I regret). I figured thats what triggered it. On my secondary account ******#*****, I was able to submit an appeal the next day, in which I addressing the language issue assuming that was the reason for the ban (none was stated) , where I then received the response just repeated the vague manipulating Xbox services reason without explaining what that means. Ive got no clue what manipulation Im supposed to have done and have yet to receive any evidence of me doing so, and Ive received zero details despite trying to appeal. Again , I have and still am begging for evidence of manipulation to be shown. I previously requested immediate lift of the console and account ban along with an explanation for the reasoning- I also requested $500 for lost console and games access during this time. I am now changing my request to $1,0000 due to lost console & game access for a now extended period of time, and the delusionary treatment I have received.
The enforcement team is nearly impossible to reach. Theres no phone number, no email, just a broken website that doesnt help. You all all are very well aware of this too , which makes this, not even half hearted, auto generated response particularly insulting. Im , again, asking for a proper investigation into my ban. Please fix the enforcement page error for my main account, provide a clear explanation of what manipulating Xbox services means in my case, and confirm whether the ban is tied to my language or something else

Dear ****** *****,
Thank you for contacting Microsoft Corporation through the Better Business Bureau regarding the suspension of the Xbox account.
As requested, we reached out to the Xbox Enforcement Team for further clarification. Please note that only the Xbox Enforcement Team has the authority to review and reverse enforcement actions, including account suspensions.
Following their review, the team confirmed that the device in question was flagged due to an unusually high number of account creations within a short timeframe. This behavior is typically associated with automated or unauthorized activity, which violates Xboxs community standards and enforcement policies.
If you would like to learn more about Xboxs enforcement policies or check the status of the account, we encourage you to visit the **********************************************.

I randomly received a permanent suspension on my Xbox account for seemingly no reason, ive had the account for ages, no strikes on my account from past violations, and it was all of a sudden suspended. They dont give you an exact reason as to why it was suspended and only say it was a violation of some sort which makes appealing the suspension almost impossible because you have to guess what they could have possibly suspended you for when you did nothing wrong.Business Response
