      Worst customer service ever!!!! I'm using my partners computer to make a complaint. My computer was working fine this morning and tonight I came home and received a message that Outlook has to restart my computer. Asked for my pw and email. Had the username, but after 7/8 years I didn't remember my PW because I don't use the email, ever. First guy I spoke with gave me a number for Outlook and told me I had to call them...auto service that did not answer the questions I needed. Called back to support desk listed on their website, and asked asked "A live person" if he could help me with my account. He said no and immediately and hung up. Called back again and the just disconnected my call without even answering. Will never, ever buy this product again.

      I've been trying to get into my 365 subscription for several weeks and now just want to cancel. When you try to cancel it redirects you to an interface that wants you to login, and after answering a captcha they say they will call in 2 minutes. The first time I waited 20 minutes, talked with an initial person for 4.5 minutes, they sent me to ****** in Professional Support, who after 8 minutes said he couldn't help me. He then passed me to another group called the data protection team. After 14 minutes on hold I finally got someone with a heavy Indian accent on a bad connection, I couldn't even get his name. He ended up hanging up on me, 28 minutes total wasted. Called again for the call back, they called in 9 minutes this time but the keys wouldn't accept my entry of "1", so it ended up hangin up on me. Tried again for a call back and it said I exceeded the call back limit, wait until tomorrow. This was just today's episode, I had a similar experience a few weeks ago without any resolution of my issue. My recommendation is to use something else, I started using Microsoft in 1986 but they are not even close to the company they were back then, and even then they weren't that great. I'm still trying to cancel my subscription, not looking forward to tomorrow's wasted time for this. I only wish they had a zero star rating.

      They blocked my Hotmail account of 20 yrs and I have filled out forms to reset password 10 times and they will not open my account. I have very important documents and have given them all the information they need.

      This company does nothing but anti consumer and act they wonder why nobody wants enjoy what they have when they won't let you undercut they're trash ***** price, with a third party code, Valve at least honors old codes for subs and game.

      Microsoft is absolutely ridiculous. They charges my card 8 times for $107.74 totaling over $800 dollars taken from my account and i can't even get ahold of a real person. On top of that, they locked me out of my account on my first attempt to log in and when i attempted to recover it with all my information, they denied me access and i had to use my daughters email to get the recovery codes because they wouldn't deliver to my email. I would give 0 starts but that's not an option. beware of using Microsoft online products they will use your card without authorization and block you from accessing things that you already paid for. Best bet is to go to the store and purchase it yearly, DO NOT do the online subscription because they will rob you blind! Microsoft needs to do better, their company makes too much money for them to be scamming people and blocking access and not even have live agents to help paying customers.

      Do NOT use Microsoft if you know what is good for you. I had an old account with them that was hacked. I verified my information and instead of helping me, they kept saying that they could not change the 2-step verification methods I no longer had access to and instead they closed the account. I have since reported them to the Better Business Bureau and there will be legal ramifications as their recent policy changes were their excuse for not helping me. By the way, they are NOT accredited by the Better Business Bureau so it is a bad idea to do any business with them.

      You can never get a hold of a person. My daughter opened an account when she was seven years old and now shes trying to get her Xbox restarted and you can never talk to somebody when you call from the same number they track the number and dont answer it they send you straight to a website. You can never speak to a person, as much as Microsoft makes this is absolutely ridiculous. Beware of buying your children products without knowing any of the information your children are downloading or putting into the system. The Xbox is no good now until I speak to a representative. . They accepted money for a product and shes trying to cancel it and its coming out of her account. Shes 15 now you cant even get a person to go in and cancel the account for her so now she spending 1299 a month she doesnt even have Microsoft is absolutely making too much money to be this ridiculous. They should be ashamed of their self if theres not enough of these complaints to Better Business Bureau they would not change their practices, sincerely ****** parent

      I would give Microsoft a zero rating, however BBB is requiring I choose a star.I re-subscribed in February paid my the fee, but have had no response from them after emailing them 3 times asking them "why I cannot access my PowerPoint files access any of my many PowerPoint Presentations, but I can access Word."This is the email address I used an actual email from Microsoft when I first communicated with them when I subscribed to 365.But now, no one answers my emails. It seems they are refusing to help not just me, but hundreds (if not thousands) of people looking for similar answers online.Not impressed.

      Sunday 04/28/24: Microsoft Tech Support Engineers Fail to provide any resolution to Microsoft Purview Emails to generate a code by email to be able to open & read protected messages. Instead they harass users who are seeking a resolution to the tech software that won't produce a generated code by email. Nor do they provide an estimated date of resolution. ********************** are urged not to use their Protected Emails.
