1 starI got an email from Xbox Support telling me my game couldn't be refunded because I had reached the refund limit. If this is a policy the company has, that's fine, however a notification via email or warning on next purchase would be appreciated. It is unfortunate that Microsoft sees taking money from my mother, who's retired on a fixed income and had bought this as a gift, is somehow ethically okay.Review fromClarice C

1 starI am unhappy about how Microsoft has handled the migration of Minecraft accounts. After being a loyal player for years, I lost interest as most people do when they grow up. However, after not playing for a while, I decided I wanted to redownload the game and it give it a shot. Unfortunately, I came to find that I missed the migration period and there is no way to get my account back. This is an extremely unethical business practice since I bought Minecraft some ten years ago just to have it stolen from me. You should never be able to lose a product you bought by a company ridding your access of it. I sincerely hope Microsoft reconsiders how they have handled things because this has left thousands without their old accounts. On ****** you are still able to migrate your old YT account to ******* even though they acquired it in 2006. What makes it even more shameful is that YT is free while Minecraft is not. 1 starI'm being unfairly banned on my xbox account, due to a guy named sammyfitz05 after he jumped in my xbox chat box while I was playing modern warfare 2019. Words were exchanged for one minute. I usually play with others in a party because I have had alot of racial comments made to me in game chat. The guy Sammyfitz05 after the verbal for that one minute which afterwords I was just in a party with my friends, then this ignorant dude hops in My chat box talking like back in the day u would of been lenched, said derogatory things about my girlfriend at the time was present to see everything ignorant sammyfitz05 said. After the fact sammyfitz05 all he did was take what I said to him and kept reporting me till I did get banned and this he persisted to bother me for the next two days harassing me until I finally reported him back and blocked him as i was already serving a suspension which started 2 days suspension after that 4 days all this while I'm already banned 15 days then got another suspension to 61 days now it says 366 day ban talking about making xbox live a safe playing environment u banned me longer than the bully in my chat box I was the victim in the matter and they enforcement team acted like I wasn't suppose to be upset over the racial comment and comment made towards my girlfriend stating like I'm not suppose to say nothing in my defense yes I find this discriminatory towards me and the money I have put into their pockets . That is now wasted because they very harshly judged the situation wrong. Then attempted to tell me about the things I supposedly did that I don't know what their talking about and saying I'm making xbox a unsafe place. I'm not the one hopping in others chat boxes antagonizing arguments this guy sammyfitz05 did and I bet my ban is way longer than his I need help getting justice in this situation cause I don't feel I was judged fairly and it could of been easily just say block him which I had already done.Review fromDonald s

1 starIf I could leave a negative star review for Microsoft Xbox support and Xbox in general, I would, over the last five years Xbox and their support team have been nothing but issues they do not care to help the customers that built their company into what they are, they want your money and then they ignore you when you need help, in anytime there is an issue and you actually can speak with somebody. They just spew out the same garbage that does not work Every time. Their support team is absolutely useless. I have disc games that are in immaculate condition that will not download. I have bought brand new discs that would not download. I have had downloaded games that get to 80% and then says failed to download consistently. Have updates for games that get to 80% downloaded and then says fail to download. Several of my downloaded games have deleted themselves along with my characters, and when I try to recover from the cloud it says failed to download from cloud. If I could give advice to any gamer, it would be to immediately get rid of your Xbox and switch to PlayStation or PC. Both are by far superior to what Xbox has become. As far as Im concerned, the Xbox one is just an overpriced DVD player and paperweight. After these issues I have experienced in the last year. I will never buy another Microsoft product again and will be switching to PlayStation. Microsoft does not care whatsoever to make right when they have screwed up.To the BBB, you should make a zero star review an option because Microsoft deserves itReview fromJason C

1 starI am one of the many owners of Minecraft through ****** that was not notified of the migration and missed it. I reached out to Microsoft and they have refused to honor my copy of Minecraft even with my receipt and transaction ID. Simply ******************** told me to buy it again if I want it. I feel ripped off and cheated and because of their response and intend on not giving Microsoft any more of my money for any of their products or services.Review fromAlexander L

1 starI am extremely dissatisfied with Microsoft's handling of my Minecraft account. Despite being a loyal Microsoft and Xbox gamer for years, I'm being told to purchase the game again. The communication about the migration process was severely lacking. I only received one vague email which was grouped in with dozens of emails from Microsoft, and there was no clear indication that failing to act would result in losing access to my game.When I reached out for help, I was met with a cold response stating that the migration window had closed and that my only option was to repurchase the game. This is unacceptable. I shouldn't have to pay again for a game I've already bought and invested time and money in.Their support team was ultimately unhelpful, offering no solution other than buying the game again. This shows a complete disregard for customer loyalty and support. I'm left with a disappointed 5-year-old and a bitter taste from a disappointing company.For a company with a valuation of 3.32 trillion USD, you'd think they could spare a few dollars instead of forcing you to pay for a game you already own. This feels like nothing more than a greedy, scammy move to squeeze more money out of loyal customers. It's as if ******************** only cares about profits and not about the people who support their products.I expected better from a company like Microsoft. This experience has been frustrating and disheartening. I strongly advise potential customers to be wary of such poor customer service and lack of support. ********************* greed and disregard for their players investments are truly appalling.
