I bought a ticket then immediately cancelled it in less than an hour because something came up. Alaskan Airlines didnt refund my ticket and I lost a significant amount of money that I cant afford to lose. Greedy.

Extremely disappointed with Alaska Airlines' customer **********************. My Mileage Plan account has been under investigation for too long despite providing all documents, including my ID and passport. I even missed a ticket I paid for. No clear answers, no support, and way beyond the promised response time. This needs to be addressed immediately.

Complaint Against: Alaska Airlines Date of Incident: March 30, 2025 Flight: #****, STS to SAN On 3/30/25, I was wrongfully and humiliatingly removed from Alaska Airlines Flight #**** after boarding and taking my seat. I was calm, cooperative, and not intoxicated, yet I was publicly removed with no formal assessment or due process. The accusation that I seemed intoxicated was vague and subjective, and the treatment felt discriminatoryparticularly as a woman traveling alone.I was not allowed to retrieve my phone, which was stored in the seat pocket, leaving me with no way to contact anyone for help. I was then left at ********************** overnight without communication, accommodations, or support. This created a frightening and dangerous situation. The only rebooking offered was for a 6 AM flight, despite other reasonable options being available, which they refused to offer with no ************** a result, I had to spend:$200 for an **** from STS to *********** $300 for a last-minute Southwest flight from SFO to SAN $150 for an **** from **** to SFO Total out-of-pocket: $700 I have a third-party witness who observed the entire situation and is willing to provide a statement affirming that I was treated unfairly and was not behaving in any inappropriate manner.I contacted Alaska Airlines seeking reimbursement and appropriate compensation. They refused to accept responsibility or offer meaningful resolution. I am requesting full reimbursement of the $700 incurred due to their actions, plus additional compensation for the emotional distress, humiliation, and danger I experienced as a result of being left without a phone or assistance late at night. This experience reflects a serious failure of duty-of-care and what felt like gender-based bias. I urge the BBB to hold Alaska Airlines accountable for this mishandling.Let me know if you'd like a short cover message to submit with this or help formatting any receipts or documentation.

My flight from ********* Alaska to ******** was pretty good until I landed in ********. We landed about ********************************************************************************** to be expected. But then the fun part comes. So we exit the plane around midnight. It is currently 1:42 in the morning as Im writing this review and the baggage carousel ISNT EVEN MOVING! The poor Alaska Airlines lady who was giving us credits was so patient and kind to all the frustrated customers and she said they were short staffed on nights. How the heck do you have active flights at night but not a full staff? As of now I still have not gotten bags and neither have any of the other passengers.

Paid a lot of money to select an exit row seat on my 12/21 flight. The exit rows ended up being otherwise empty and two other passengers came up from their main cabin seats to sit there. The flight attendants saw this and jokingly told them they would have to pay but then said JUST KIDDING!!! and allowed them to sit there for free. I immediately wrote Alaska to request a refund as I could have just sat there for free as well and they literally told me because I made the conscious decision to upgrade for more comfort, I do not deserve a refund. So next time I will be sure to make the conscious decision to be a cheap @** and work my way up to premium seats for free.

I had a flight from ******************* to ****** scheduled with a layover in *********. My trip was four days long to see my sick mother in ******. On 12/4 at 8pm I was notified that my flight to ********* that was scheduled to leave in the early morning out of ******************* on 12/5 was canceled due to fog in *********. They rebooked me on a flight that left the next morning, Friday 12/6. Because I only had four days, I moved my departure date to Monday instead of Sunday so I could get that extra day back on the backend of the trip. I arrived for my flight on Friday 12/6. It was a 45 minute flight time from ******************* to *********. Our plane circled the ***************** but it wasnt safe to land because of fog. Why did the plane take off from ******************* in the first place? I have a hard time understanding why it was determined safe to land when they took off and unsafe to land 45 minutes later, As a result of the fog, our plane was diverted and forced to land in ************, an airport where Alaska Airlines typically doesnt fly out of. I was stuck. I missed my connection from ********* to ******. I didnt have any good options of being re-routed because ************ doesnt have a lot of options for flights out that could get me to ******. I sat on the plane for a few hours because *** Springs ground crew was sparse. Finally, they had us get off the plane and we sat in the ******************** for several hours more hours (a total of about 8 hours all together) while they refueled our plane. Our crew had timed out which was the reason for the long delay. We had to wait for a new crew to fly from ********* to ************. During that time I quickly determined that the options to get to ****** involved getting back to ********* and getting on another connecting flight. I wasnt going to be able to make it to ****** that day. And with such a short trip, I determined it made more sense for me to just fly home. I rebooked a fight out of *********.

My family and I flew from ******* to ********(11/14/24)with a layover in *******. Flight ********************************************* ******* would be tight if we were to make the next flight 893 to ********. We made our connection and landed on time with luggage in tow. When attempting to check in for return to *******(11/18/24)system would not let me check in. I call Alaska air only to be told our return was canceled by them because we didnt make our connection to ********. We were rebooked on *** to ORD. Contact with Alaska air has been a complete nightmare. I got flyer miles for out bound but not return. Customer ********************** from them has been the worse I have ever experienced from any airline in over 40 years flying. I dont understand how the *** lets airlines totally disregard and just cancel paid for travel for no reason without any notification whatsoever. It is shocking how unresponsive they are!

Worst Airlines ever! We traveled with this airline for the first and last time, destination was Alaska, after we were already inside the plane and ready to take off, the pilot made the announcement that we had to go back to the gate for some maintenance, we had to stay sitting there for 2 and a half hours, we had a connecting flight that of course we missed, they didn't bother on at least offering some breakfast, we were on the plane at 6 a.m, when we got to the next airport, our connecting flight already had left, we had to wait 3 more hours for the next flight, and it was the airline fault, they weren't kind enough to at least offer some voucher for us to have lunch. We were supposed to be at our destination at 3 pm and we got there after 9pm, we lost half a day because of this horrible airline, we lost our tour to se the aurora that day. On the flight back home, the flight was one hour late again, of course. It seems they're never on time. The flight is very long from ******* to *******, and all the offer is a little bag of pretzels and some drinks. Awful airline. The staff is very nice , is the only good thing

I have been an Alaska airlines customer for 20+ years, have the cc and the balance to prove it. But lately Alaska air has just been disappointing. Two flights in less then two weeks postponed for more the two hours. No real customer ********************** from the customer ********************** station in **************, just a you should have asked the pilot why he felt the delay and deboarding was needed, yet if you go to as said pilot and crew they direct you to customer **********************. I missed work the first time they delayed flight loosing out on pay, now the next flight Im loosing out on quality time with loved ones. I payed for a 3pm flight so I would get into ****** before 8pm now wont be arriving tell after 10pm and should have just payed for the later 200$ cheeper flight in the first place. Yet no one in Alaska's customer ********************** department shows an ounce of customer **********************.

Somehow my wife's reservation Conf # FXTEUI was scrambled on Alaska Airlines and we were blackmailed into spending a hard earned ****** Alaska Air miles to get her home, otherwise she was stranded in ******************. In addition, during this emergency I spent over 4 hours on hold!We were long time loyal Alaska Airlines customers, and I'm at a loss to understand why we were treated so badly.
