Worst auto review company on the planet! Totally inaccurate report. Described truck as a 4-cylinder when it's a 5-cylinder. Said battery needs replacing when the battery is fine. Said carpet was in good condition when there is no carpet, just a vinyl ***** But worst of all-and dangerous- was they didn't even bother to look at the frame where there was so much rot and rust, that there were big gaping holes in the frame! It was easily seen just by bending over and looking! It's a pickup with good ground clearance! How on earth could you miss that?!? I ended up buying a truck that had so much rot on the frame that it was dangerous to drive! I wouldn't hire this company to inspect a tricycle! Also, don't trust any company that promotes great reviews on its website, but doesn't have a feature on the site that allowsa customer to leave a review.

On July 6, 2023, I ordered an inspection of a car located at a dealership in *****. I paid $199.00 on my credit card. I gave them the correct information and VIN number. I received an email saying that the inspection would be done on July 8. On July 7, I got an email from Lemon Squad saying that my inspection was "on hold," but giving no further information. I heard nothing further from Lemon Squad. When I went online to look at my account, there was no way to get a refund. The dealership says they were looking out for Lemon Squad but never heard from them.On July 20, I did a chat with Lemon Squad on their website and they said "******************* has informed me there is no ************************* and unaware of ************************* purchasing a vehicle from them. Please contact the seller."They are making me pay for a service that I never received. I decided to fight.

I ordered an inspection for a used car that was available at a dealership in ************. Lemon Squad messaged me saying they'd get it done the next day. I passed this information on to the dealership and they had the car ready awaiting Lemon Squad. Lemon Squad failed to show or call. The same thing happened the next day and the next and the next, etc. Empty promises were repeatedly made, yet they failed to show up or call the dealership. After the 6th empty promise and failure to show, I contacted Lemon Squad by phone and asked for immediate completion of the service or a full refund of my money as soon as possible. They want to offer me a credit towards a future inspection instead of refunding my money. This is unacceptable. I am not interested in ever trying to do business with them again. They promise speedy professional service, but fail severely on both accounts.

Very poor communication between this company and their inspectors. Can't speak to the qualifications of their inspectors, but ours never showed up, and never told the company why (they were confused so clearly there's no "check-in" process they need to adhere to for quality assurance). The owner of the vehicle we were looking to purchased called the inspector who "sounded as if he'd just forgotten the appointment", and said he'd show up the following day. Very disrespectful of their time. Still waiting on the inspection report. Lemon Squad customer service said it's out of their hands. They have to wait for them to upload it into the system.

BUYER BEWARE!! I purchased an inspection service from, LEMON SQUAD on May 13, 2023. I received communication from LEMON SQUAD stating that the inspector scheduled the inspection for 5/16. I then received new communication from LEMON SQUAD on 5/16 stating that the inspection had been canceled- 'REASON: "technician changed appointment to accommodate multiple inspections". A new date for inspection was set for 5/18, only to receive a message on 5/18 stating that the inspector was canceling and rescheduling for 5/19, due to thunderstorms. (There were no thunderstorms in that area that day, not even rain). The next date was then scheduled for 5/21 at 6pm, 'as discussed with seller'. That date was then canceled 'due to inclement weather', rescheduled for 5/23. The next message received from LEMON SQUAD did not give a reason for cancelation that had previously been scheduled for 5/23, rather, just a message stating that the inspection would now be preformed on 5/24. On the same day- 5/23, received additional communication from LEMON SQUAD stating the inspection would infact not be on 5/24, but 5/30- quote, 'or the following day' because the seller would be out of town until that date. This is insanity!! The seller has been available for 10 days!, but for frivolous reasons, the technician and LEMON SQUAD have failed to render promised services in a reasonable time. Their website states, 2 days. Their website also says inspections are $189.00, but after I made the purchase, I was immediately charged $306.00 and NO SERVICE has been rendered! I would like to be refunded, but in very small, fine print buried in loads of leagal jargon, they will not allow for a refund. Which is ridiculous because this is no fault of mine or the seller, but is due to their own failure to render services in a reasonable, timely manner. This is robbery! These people are crooks and scam artists!! PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE TO FIND RELIABLE, HONEST, inspection services.

Purchased a car depending on their inspection of the car. Totally misdiagnosed the car, it wouldnt pass state inspection until we paid $3,200 to make the car road legal. We approached Lemon Squad and their attitude was it was working while they were inspecting itthere reply.. Hello. On ******, the Jaguar, we noted no mechanical issues at time of inspection. The inspector can only verify failures if there are any at the time of the inspection. It was noted that it had some exterior damages/things that have been replaced/refinished that are not normal on a 44k mile vehicle, but are for one 8 years old. We do not test wheel locks/take them out. We have decent underbody pictures and I see no axles showing signs they are slinging grease, but we do not lift vehicles and this is a low vehicle. Supercharger noise is a relative thing. They all make some noise, but we noted no unusual noise at time of inspection. We have no way of measuring brake pads. Brakes on this car can be well into the thousands. They did not make noise or it would have been noted. We would not be able to see all of the front end bushings, we are inspecting what we see/feel during the inspection.Modern headlights can work and then not work, they don't just go dim like on old cars. They worked for us. The only error I'm seeing is we marked the air filter as good. Assuming the filter shown by the service station is the one from the car, we goofed on that by marking it good. We don't usually see them/tech don't take them out. When we don't see them I tell techs to mark them N/A.We would only be able to issue a partial refund because of marking the air filter as good. Would you like to proceed?

I can tell that lemon Squad is not accredited with a Better Business Bureau.I have a legitimate complaint with lemon Squad and no matter what I do I get no response.I got a link to send a complaint and got no response back.I've called five times now asking to speak to a supervisor, they assure me they will forward my complaint and someone will get back to me, not once did I receive a call back.I would never use this company again and highly discourage anybody else from using "Lemon Squad".
