      -Once I had paid for the initial $600 for the packet, there was little to no communication reciprocated from this establishment. I repeatedly phoned an agent who never picked up nor returned my calls. I resorted to online chats which for some reason always seemed to be "offline". When I did get a response it was not clear or specific - more like a "canned answer". There was always another financial obligation to the next step to completing the process. (eg) Instructions- Be sure all pages are properly notarized. When the paperwork was examined by the Courthouse County Clerk in our County and State, she said I had incurred unnecessary ******************** including $80 in notarizations. In her opinion, and I agree with her, that I was misled into a maze of unanticipated expenses and frivolous paperwork. For instance, if there is any delay in the process to allow for corrections to the paperwork, the process is delayed and pushed into another month, they will automatically charge another month's subscription fee ($49) to my debit card which they had on file. They state, if I don't pay, I will no longer have access to my online forms and all that has been done will be lost. Sounds very much like online extortion to me. So far I have received little to nothing in the way of online support or feedback. They have no trouble returning reminders when they want more money. I have no confidence in this business's integrity or competence and I am seeking a full refund on the money they have received thus far from me. They advertise 100% moneyback guarantee. I am also seeking to recover the money wasted on the 8 notarized forms ($80). The County Clerk in my County said I would be better off to discard the Online Divorce paperwork altogether and start over from the ****************** She also graciously offered to help me through the process. I appreciate anything you can do to help correct this situation -Thank You So Much.

      We contacted this customer and explained how we provided them with the services they purchased. We have responded to their emails and engaged with them in the chat sessions they started. They utilized our software to generate their forms, and we mailed them their packet of documents. We are willing to continue to assist them.

      We charge a monthly subscription fee, but it can be canceled anytime. Our customers receive a reminder email seven days before the cost is charged, with instructions on how to cancel. We do not cover notary fees. Notary and court fees are the customer's responsibility.

      I am rejecting this response because:   The Online Divorce was not satisfactory in answering very specific questions I had in regard to the "hidden costs" that seemingly kept "baiting" me along to the next step of the process.  I never could get a hold of an agent by phone to ask how much more of these "hidden" costs were still involved in the process. I wanted to ask them this because the County Clerk in my county of **************** told me that I was being misdirected with the paperwork generated.  It was going to lead my to even more expenses before it was over because it was going to involve the judge and having papers serviced to my husband.  She informed me that because was uncontested the paperwork was excessive and involved more steps that will lead to more expenses.  I would not have needed to have all these forms notarized nor is there any reason to have the papers served.  Because I was not forewarned that there would be those additional (upcoming) expenses when I purchased the service to begin with, I believe that the Online Divorce service would continue to "string me along"  with more "surprise expenses".  Since I had already started the process, they indicated to me that if I don't keep paying in, I lose what has been done altogether.  I see their business practices as a form of Online Divorce Extortion. That is why I am not satisfied with their response.  They also say Money Back guarantee if not satisfied with the results- I am not happy with the service or the results based on the additional information I have received from the County Clerks office in my County and State.  Thank You for your attention and time in this matter.

      Very disappointed with their customer service, or lack thereof. All they wanted to do was issue a partial refund which I did not agree to, but they went ahead and did it anyway. Im sure in their eyes this matter is complete, but I do not. One of the first things you must do when you go to the site is pay. When I got to the section that didnt offer what I needed as an option I backed out and left the site and requested a refund

      I paid for a divorce on their website. It said money back guaranteed if youre unhappy which I was because they ended up tagging on $119 bill to the $159 originally. I called. They then said they can only give me $59 back in refund out of the $278 that I paid because of a subscription I had no idea about. They were not nice and they did not work with me. I tried everything. it would be cheaper to file in town, why would I go online and pay for all of that for nothing?

      I paid this company to complete a divorce from start to finish. It was denied by the court, and now they want me to do all the footwork myself, which is not what I paid them for. I don't have time. I've now hired an attorney, and I just want my money refunded.

      They were supposed to handle my divorce, everything from start to finish. My divorce was denied because of their lack of urgency. They now expect me to fill out paperwork again, in an already volitale situation and then file everything myself, in the hope that maybe it is approved. I paid them to do all of the leg work for the whole thing. They are not living up to what i paid them for. Period

      I began a divorce with this company. They kept sending the paperwork back for correction. For example, I was instructed to fill out information about my assests. If they were under $300,000, I didn't have to fill out the over $300,000 part. They sent it back because the over $300,000 portion was not filled out. My assests are about $250,000. I paid to have the assest portion notarized. Another example, I put USA as part of my address and the paperwork was sent back. They kept sending paperwork back, and kept charging $39 to extend the process for one month. Also, they instructed me to to send a **** money order (filing fee) to the Orangeburg County Family Court. I had already canceled my platinum $399 service. Online divorce told me they would not help me recoup this money. The Orangeburg Family Court will not refund the $150 filing fee. Again, I will not be using this service because they keep sending the paperwork back and charging $39 extra to extend your membership. I am willing to forego asking for the $39 additional charges. I am just asking for refund of the $399 plus the $150 filing fee I lost. This is a total of $399 plus $150. This equals $549. I am ready to go to small claims Court if I have to. Excuse me for putting the amount of the refund I am asking as $399. I forgot to add the court filing fee which I lost. This makes a total of a $549 refund I am asking for.Thank you.

As part of our ***************** we strive to help our customers have successful court filings. If we notice an error from our customers, we ask them if they want to correct it before they file their case. Our customers pay all their court fees. Any questions concerning court fee reimbursement need to be addressed directly with the court.

      Date of Transaction-01/31/2025 Transaction amount-****** They were supposed to help me draw up divorce papers so I could file them with courts.Nature of dispute-I filled out a questionnaire which did not have a disclaimer or warning after being asked if i was expecting which I am. Had i been given that warning or disclaimer about not being provided the documents to file for my divorce till obtaining a DNA test and that my case would be put on hold till after the baby was born I would not have proceeded with said questionnaire. But they are refusing to refund me stating that since I filled out the questionnaire they can not provide me with a refund even though they have not done anything service wise. They have repeatedly refused to refund my request which I don't think is asking too much.

      I signed up for the website and when I asked for a refund, they charged me a hidden activation fee. The original fee was $199.00 to file divorce papers online. They made me pay that up front, and once I paid that and realized they service was not right for me, they proceeded to charge me ***** for an activation fee on a service that is not right for me..

      I had contacted the company on two occasions for a refund. The paperwork they provided for a divorce, was different than what my county was requesting. Therefore I was unable to use their service as advertised and I had to pay the county court filing fees, equivalent to what they charged me. Their paperwork was requesting notary services and other fees and that is not how my county does things. The company denied my request the first time says they provided me paperwork. They said get proof the county was using their forms. When I again requested to be refunded they told me Im out of their 30 days but in I order to get proof I needed to follow my county guidelines. Theyre a scam!! They also tried to insist on the fact that they also provide access to their site and online attorneys and stuff. I never used any of that either!!! I needed to consult an actual attorney in my area. Also you can see from my account, that I never even finished the necessary 100%. The only thing they did was put some information in the pages and I still had to add all the information and more to the forms requested by my county. My account was never utilized and they offer a 100% satisfied customer and Im not satisfied with anything from this company.

      We do not sell forms. Our service provides customers access to our website, where they can access resources to help them successfully file and finalize their divorce. This includes access to our questionnaire. Completing the questionnaire allows our software to generate forms based on their answers. Our service does not pay court filing fees.       the website provides a customer with forms to be used to file a **********************. The forms they provided and the steps to file they provided, are not the same forms that my county accepts for divorce through the efiling process. efiling is a timely process and the forms they provided were not the same. there for I had to download and recompile the documents requested from the county to file for my divorce in a timely fashion. Not using any of the forms they provided!! They sell forms to file a divorce!!!

      I want to file a divorce so I went to this company website ************************************************* Company name is Online Divorce LLC. I purchased divorce paperwork from them for $199. They called me the next day to go ahead and view and download my forms to sign. I stated I needed time to think about it and NEVER accessed any of the forms they sent me. My case progress is 50%. According to their site they refund the money if nothing has been accessed, signed or filled out within 30 days. I will attach the screenshots of their online policy, my case progress and proof of purchase for date references (it hasn't been 30 days).Now I called them twice to get my refund. They do not want to honor their refund policy even though I haven't accessed anything, signed anything, downloaded anything or did their post questionnaires (and other post items) as mentioned in the refund policy. They are fraudulent in the refund policy and I want to report them so I can hopefully get my money back and they don't do this to anyone else.

      I paid online ************************** $250 to do divorce papers for me and once I had them signed and took them to the court the court told me that the papers were wrong because in ******** the grounds for divorce are 6 months not one year so they would not accept the papers upon contacting

      I have done their questionnaire and it produces out of code documents since the VA CODE is grounds for divorce with no minor children is 6 months not 1 year as it used to be. So their software is out of date and I have asked for a refund for the $250 I paid so I can get documents done correctly.  I have emailed them again and told them that I changed the date of separation like they told me to do and it still produces the same documents that are not acceptable to the court.
