      I ordered a Rad Rover 6 Plus in August of 2021. At the time, the bike was promised for October delivery. Due to supply chain issues etc., the company followed up to let me know that my bike would be delivered by December 15th. That date came and went and I finally received my new bike on January 11th, 2022. I rode the bike for less than 100 km when the throttle and pedal assist ceased to function. After contacting Rad, I was given a series of instructions on how to trouble shoot and repair the bike on my own. After following these instructions (thank goodness I'm handy and have a full set of bike tools), the issue was still not resolved. It was agreed that a new controller would be sent to me. That was in March. It is now July and I am approaching the one year anniversary of placing an order for a bike that is still not serviceable and I cannot ride. I have now tried to resolve my issue with ***** *** ***** ******** ********* *** and *******. I am tired of getting passed around with no one person attempting to close my file. I have also spent more of my own valuable time trying to fix this bike than I have spent riding it. This is obviously unacceptable. Rad continues to market their bikes on social media with promised shipping turnarounds of a few days, and yet they can't seem to be able to send me a replacement part for a bike that doesn't work. I feel that I have been treated very poorly, despite showing a willingness to work with Rad to get my issue resolved. It seems to me that once they have received payment, the customer is no longer a priority. There are many competitors out there. I would recommend looking at one of them if you are interested in a new ebike.

      Thank you. After escalating my issue to a customer service supervisor at Rad, it has been agreed that a new bike will be sent to me. I am satisfied with this resolution. I am hopeful that I will receive my new bike in a timely manner, since it took four and a half months to receive the original bicycle after ordering. I will modify my review again upon the delivery of the new bike.
