My attorney defrauded me, and after doing some research, I've found numerous instances of fraud by the same attorney, including a public reprimand by the Texas ********************** I filed a negative review on Avvo, linking the public opinion from several other cases, a public rebuttal from a US District Judge, and a link to his public reprimand by the Texas State Bar, and my negative review was removed by Avvo for "lack of evidence." First off, I didn't know "evidence" was required to leave a negative review.Second, I provided a mountain of evidence, which is probably more accurately what they had a problem with.Regardless, I now know not to trust Avvo for reviewsBusiness Response

I am rejecting this response because:
the name of the attorney is ******** *****************************. The response to the rejection was just accuses the attorney of a bunch of unethical stuff with no proof but that is what a review is: an accusation of unethical stuff without proof. I am not going to litigate with you. Are you assigning and recovering my damages? If not, you can f*** off.Also, and more to the point, I DID include proof, including the File No. to his Public Reprimand by the Texas ********************* for the exact same activity, as well as the case numbers to several cases sharing public opinion of him, on public record, including one publication from a U.S. District Judge.
There is an abundance of proof, and if that is not enough for you to allow someone to post a negative review about a fraud and a thief, you are not a resource, you are a public menace.

I am rejecting this response because:Literally done or said nothing to resolve my complaint. Simply said "as long as reviewers follow guidelines, review will be posted" then posted a copy of the entirety of their guidelines, but gave no guidance on what guidelines I violated or what would need to be done to bring my review within their guidelines.
Also, their feedback at the time was I did not include "proof" which A: I did, it's all public knowledge and B: I am not going to f****** litigate with AVVO. They are not a court of law.
Please **** as "no resolution reached" as it is clear Avvo has no intention of resolving this complaint ammicably.

I am an attorney. Avvo is a company that posts attorney profiles. If you pay extra fees to Avvo, Avvo promises to push your profile up higher on the ****** market so that you get more exposure to potential clients.I upgraded my Avvo account in October 2023. Since November 1, 2023, I have paid Avvo $199 a month for this advertising service. The reason I upgraded was to get exposure to potential clients and to get more clients.Since October 2023 I have been complaining to Avvo that they are posting the wrong phone number on my profile, in three separate locations on the profile. The number they are posting as my "office" number and my "mobile" number *************) is not my number. It has never been affiliated with my business. Although they state on my profile that the number is my "office" number and "mobile" number, it is neither. Despite repeated emails to customer service, calls to customer service, and numerous emails to my "account manager," I get no response. They refuse to call back and refuse to correct the phone numbers on my profile. I am paying money for nothing. Before I upgraded, I had the option of editing my profile, but I do not have that option with the upgraded account. Even if someone sees my profile on Avvo, they cannot call me. If they call the phony number on the profile it goes to a voicemail that asks for a "passcode." It looks like I don't even have a law business or office. This is so unprofessional. Avvo is hurting my busines rather than helping it.The company fraudulently took my money, and continues to fraudulently draft $199 out of my account each month, but they will not post my correct contact information on its site.Please make Avvo post the correct phone numbers on my profile page ************* is my mobile number and ************ is the correct office number). Thank you for your feedback. The 855 number that was on her profile is a tracking number, that forwarded to her cell phone. That allows her to track the calls coming into the firm. Per her request we updated the profile to show her cell number and office number as requested.

This company allows lawyers to pay for positive reviews and denies all neutral or negative feedback. I have been trying to leave honest feedback for a lawyer in my area that I hired for one year but lost my case due to negligence. I was pointed to this website as honest feedback from former clients but it is a money making scam to trick clients.Business Response

Back in June, I found out that this company had leaked my information onto the dark web. I sent them an email requesting that my account, that I didn't even know I had, to be deleted. I requested the deletion of all of my private details as well. No one ever responded. If you could assist me with this dilemma, I'd appreciate it.Business Response

there is absolutely no option on their website to cancel your account. you always have to be suspicious of a company that does not offer an option to terminate your account with them. i want my account canceled and my information deleted from their files. you would think a legal services website would make it simple for you to nullify your contract with them but you would be wrong. i want the account canceled and i want no further contact from this company and i want my contact information destroyed. i do not want them to share or sell or transfer or transmit any of my data. i want it all destroyed. i want no more emails from this company. you get this uneasy feeling that this company has dug its claws into your back and will not let go until you agree to submit your soul to them. leave me alone please.
