    I didnt want to leave a star but had to ************ does not support freedom of speech or protect the First Amendment. Avvo is picky what is asked, and if an attorney responds calling you a 10 year old, and you flag it, AVVO terminates your question. It appears you cant leave a real rating for attorneys, as AVVO tells the attorney and if the attorney does not like it, Avvo will remove it. AVVO supports Attorneys who have nothing better to do than look at new comments and leave lame comments or good ones. My main concern is how AVVO retaliates and when ****** off at ya, they remove stuff you posted or comments or some of your ratings.They deleted many of my questions to be posted and reviews out of retaliation. On 9 26 2023 and other times.AVVO even terminated one of my old accounts for an unjust reason. That was because I told them anything I write on AVVO is copywriter protected because I do not give them permission to make money off my comments or writings. Then they reply that I read the big long notice before I pushed ok. These businesses write a huge long rules and stuff that no one reads. You dont sign anything, they dont tell you nothing but when you push the okay button, they assumed you read it and agree to it. The only thing I agreed to was opening the next screen so I could get on and ask questions. As for attorneys listed on AVVO, I have not found one that is honest, three who ripped me off and a lot of attorneys really are so dishonest it makes the justice system unjustified and WE THE PEOPLE should go back to the western days where we carry and then its okay to notify an armed person to a challenge and boom .... the argument is over. I should have the right to post reviews on AVVO anyway I want. This would allow people who have had an attorney on AVVO make a truthful comment. Angry or not. We should have the right to state how we feel for others to see and decide there on, if the attorney did a good job or not.

    They don't let you leave reviews if they don't agree with it. Even if you paid and retained the attorney. That is not freedom of speech at all.

    Avvo incorrectly claimed it could legally charge me outside the contract period lapsed over 3 years after the contract expired, and over six months after raising the contract price, and even after I had changed my credit card and somehow they obtained it through **** without my knowledge or consent and continued to bill me!The credit card company is contesting these charges and Avvo has not responded to my demand to produce: 1) any written agreement between Avvo and myself for the increased contract amount 2) any written authorization from me allowing them to access my new credit card information. Avvo claims under a 2019 contract, ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************* when it creased my costs 6 months ago. In my State, where there is no mutual agreement to enter into a new contract modifying a previous contract, there is no new contract and, thus, no modification; therefore, Avvo breached its agreement and should pay damages and had no authority to use my likeness expecting any benefit.     Called 7-8 times times to increase my charges, *********** to your billing locked with your account rep. Ive been charged over 400, 4 months in a row, against my will, and I cant get the charges to stop. No one calls back, there is no way to call anyone, and all of a sudden my account rep is me her time is to valuable and she wont be bullied? Quit maliciously charging my accountId give them a 0 starts if it was available.

    Avvo is a scam. Their reviews cannot be trusted. Like other people mentioned here, Avvo rejects negative reviews against lawyers who pay them
