I received a traffic ticket for a lane violation, should be a very simple case. I hired off the record to defend me and they hired ****************. I contacted *** because ****** would not return my calls and I'm wondering why this is elevated to a jury trial. I can't get an answer from either OTR or ******. *** promised to call me back the same day but the call was disconnected and I was not called back. I tried 2 more times with no answer. I got eventually got ahold of them and they are asking for $400+ more. I asked to see the policy in writing that shows my obligation, as I have found nothing on their website or policies that says I am required to pay more. They still don't understand the case and my request - they say that I need to make a court appearance, however the case is in ***** and I live in ******** and it is impossible for me to be there in person. The court allows video conferencing in this circumstance so I am asking them to write the court and set that up for me, and defend me on video call. None of this requires an in person appearance, I should not be charged extra, and I can't even get ahold of anyone to clarify what I need and get legal advice and help. I can not get a call back from ****** either. This has gone on for more than a year with no call backs or resolution. I have asked for a different lawyer and gotten no response. Today on the phone I asked to speak to someone higher up and was told a manager would be notified but she (an emplyee named ?El?) refused to say if and when I would be called back, then she hung up on me.

I am honestly very unhappy with the outcome. The whole reason I got a lawyer is because I didn't want to take the 2-point ticket and I didn't want to plea Unsafe Driving because I know it's a very expensive ticket. My attorney had called fairly shortly after I had purchased this service. I missed the call and honestly I didn't get the chance for a week to call him back. I did call him back on June 15th. I was connected with his voicemail which is fine, but he never returned my call. A week before my court date I was nervous because I still hadn't heard from him. I sent him a message on your site and ask for him to contact me. His assistant said she would have him contact me. This past Thursday he called me. He mispronounce my first name and I corrected him. I also went through my whole history of my driver's license. He said I sounded young to have been driving that long. I've been driving for almost 13 years. I thought that was a little weird of a statement but I let it go. Tuesday he calls me again and introduces himself and it's the same conversation over again, but this time it seems rushed. He also mispronounced my name again and clearly forgot our conversation from Thursday. He was very professional about how he said he forgot but I still thought that was an unprofessional thing to not have notes on.He showed up 18 minutes late to court online. He was the very last one to enter the court Zoom chat. He mispronounce my name again. He spoke to the prosecutor and called me. He told me my abstract didn't come out as clean as expected. On both calls I told him I pled Impeding the Flow of Traffic in 2018. He said because of that the prosecutor will not let me plea to a lower no point ticket. So I could either take the two-point careless driving ticket, plea unsafe driving, or go to trial which he made sure to mention the cop would have to be there and tell his side. I could have done all of this without a lawyer. I deserve a refund.
