    *************! New account and first transfer cancelled because I was using a VPN. NOWHERE was this restriction defined or mentioned when the account was being established. Told a response would be returned in two days - had to call after four days - new account still suspended. Their computers said our bank address was wrong and I needed to email a official bank statement - something I could photoshop. Foreign call center with poor English. Challenged the reason for my $500 transfer to a friend in ********* - suspected fraud or money laundering. Outrageous and completely stupid.

    Remitly does not protect their customers. Time is of the essence when dealing with scammers. Upon realizing I was scammed i immediately reported it to them but after 48 hrs no action to connect with their international partner bank to intercept the transaction instead i was told to file a dispute with the *******. Very disappointing since I am Remitly customer for more than 5 years. Is it still worth to use Remitly?

    Remitly has grieved me for a week denying the refund of my monies with false and misleading statements i've spent 4-5 hours via phone / WhatsApp messaging a refund after sending funds to Mexico ive followed all protocols . Ive supplied all supporting documents 4 times with the promise of refund within 24/48 hours on 7 occasions. As of today my 7th day of waiting still no refund.

    Remitly is easily hacked by ******** and does not protest its customers from fraud. ************************** does not refund customers who were victims of fraud through their service and even placed us on hold for over 30 minutes and hung up with us. We are out $475 because someone hacked my wife's account and ****** in Remitly customer service was rude and dismissive when explaining that they cannot refund the money. I will NEVER do business with this company ever again!

    I sent money, it was not received so i cancelled the transaction, on Sept 8th. Was told they would refund the money in 10 days. I have called, emailed, texted...Zero reply, Zero follow up and Zero money returned. Now they are asking me to prove from **** that the funds were not tranfered. I sent screen shots of Zero funds, no transactions over this period - Nope, we require an official bank statement to confirm the funds are not there. The responsibility is now on me to prove it wasn't sent... I have to wait until end of Sept to get an official statement. BS!!This is a ***************** zero customer service, 15 Emails, 4 Calls, 5 Text conversations and not ONE reply or follow up. I am still trying to get my $825 returned, Do NOT use this Company!!!

    Worst customer service ever! Transaction was supposed to be completed in 4-5 days, its been almost 3 weeks now. I submitted all the required documentation for the transaction and after a week of them having all the documents. I just received an email asking for the same documents. Unreal. Do not used this people.

    I have contacted Remitly for a transaction that was not delivered successfully to my receipt. My recipient bank showed the money was returned to Remitly local partner bank. However, after over 1 month of communication with customer service. The issue was still unresolved, and Remiltly cannot update me. Every time I called customer service. I had to repeat the whole story again and the agent said they would call me back within 72 hours. I have never received any call about the status. I would not recommend the service to anyone
