  On July 14, 2023. I made a transfer via Remitly to my account in ******, the amount sent was $1,000.00 The application says that the money was deposited in my account in ******, the money was not deposited as advised by Remitly, I have all the data and proof to attest that the money was not deposited in my account, I have already contacted Remitly and none of their representatives could tell me why the money was not deposited, I would like to know where my money is, I have all the evidence....

  I used Remitly for years now, without problems. I've always used their economy shipping for 99 cents. But now they have changed their fee policies without letting the customers know, and charged me a $4.99 fee as if it was express shipping, I called, and the lady let me know that they changed their policy. Again, as I said before, they did NOT let their customers know, and she didn't offer me a refund. Further, on their page, nothing has changed to reflect their new policy. If I could I would leave 0 stars.

  S***** company. Blocks accounts for no reason. Call customer service and they can not provide information why account was blocked. Tell them you want to speak to a supervisior and they say we can not connect you that you have to be put on 2 hour call back list and they never call you back. Company should be shut down for good. Customer service is the worst i have ever delt with. If i could give this company zero stars i would

  Dont send money with this company. They would take the money from your account first and promising a delivery time. Then they would send you a letter that the transfer is under review, on hold. They never have a supervisor available when you ask for. They come with excuses about a third party review and ask you provide more sensitive personal information, Be aware ,sounds like a scam. Plus now that they have your money they don't want to return it immediately. I call my bank and made complaing for fraud. my funds will be backcharge from this flight by night and restore to my account, thanks to ***********

  The worse service I have ever seen. They took my money and never delivered. For 3 days they kept saying it will be delivered in 24 hours. They keep says the same lie over and over and over. They are simply fraud. Stay away from them.

  Scam alert. Anyone who asks for money through here beware! You can get scammed and despite providing documentation of said scam they will rebuttal your bank reversing provisional credits

  On May 9, 2023 Remitly withdrew $1,900 from my checking account. I called and the customer service agent said that the fraud department would reach out to me in 1/2 hour. I hung up and called my bank. My bank put a stop to my debit card and started an investigation. I waited to see if Remitly would call me back but hadn't. I called today and they stated that once my bank contacted them, they would reverse the charge. I asked for the phone # that was used to open the account (in my name) and the Remitly worker would not give me any information. I kept asking because it was supposedly my info, so she ended up hanging up on me.

  My elderly mother was scammed by Remitly or by one of its account holders. Two unauthorized charges were added to her credit card (~$1,300), and two unauthorized withdrawals from her bank account ($1,200) were processed. Remitly's name was associated with each of the four transactions.When I raised the credit card issue with Remitly, they promptly credited by mother's bank account with the $1,300. On the bank account transfer issue, Remitly has been stonewalling for four months, despite several calls and emails from me. My emails to them no longer receive a reply, or even an acknowledgment. So while I appreciated their action on the credit card fraud (hence the two stars), their inaction on the bank transfers suggest there is something fishy going on. Like other reviewers, I would suggest to avoid Remitly at all costs but, like ********** below, I had never heard of the company until their name showed up on my mother's credit card and bank account statements. So it's not clear how anybody who reads this review can protect themselves against this type of fraud.

  This company has the poorest customer service for a money transfer service that I have ever encountered. I had an account that I used to send money to peoplefriends that I know personally and have met for several years. This company suddenly and without valid explanation cancelled my account and will not reactivate it because they claim I have violated the user service agreement. Yet they will not explain how, when, and with whom I violated this agreement which I read diligently. They have computer generated impersonal emails without names that respond to complaints. Their answering team is in *************** and can do nothing substantial to assist. My advice is find another way, use ************* or something else. This company is a disaster.
