  Terrible business practices. I put in the isbn number for my son's textbook, and it showed up on the site. Click and it switched books on me to an older edition. Now they refuse to refund it saying they delivered what I ordered.I think this is total switch and bait and shows a terrible business practices. They have lost my business and while that's meaningless to them, I hope they at least understand it's a rotten way to treat their customer.

  In order to delete your account, you are sent a confirmation email. This email leads you back to the site. During this process, you must click buttons that look exactly the same, are exactly the same color. After clicking confirm in your email, it is second nature to click the button that looks exactly like it on the page that it leads you to, expecting it to be a confirmation too. What that button does is cancel the deletion. You have to start the **************** again. Dark design.

  I realize that Thriftbooks is a scam, I placed order on **** online for (Book #3 in the Secret Diaries Series)by ***************************. that monday i checked and something didnt look right on my order. I ended up getting some dumb poem book= The Earth Under Sky ****** Feet: Native American Poems of the Land. I chatted with a ******* online and she offered to refund my money and told me that it is out of stock. I checked and it showed 5 copies in stock....was then advised the condition of the book isnt the same... i asked for that one to be mailed to me. acting like she was doing me a favor and say that she isnt going to **** me for it.... i didnt tell her that i paid a higher amount then what was posted for the book. today.... guess what, i got the same dumb poem book.
