      They don't care about no soliciting signs. They have the same script they use for every door-to-door interaction. Our entire neighborhood has rallied against them on Nextdoor. I suggest calling the cops when they show up.

      This company has been treating my house for over 3 years now. They have very good communication & always exceed our expectations. The sales guy that we worked with (*****) was very clear on expectations and how the contract worked when we signed up. Typically were not people to sign up for service that is offered door to door but ***** was kind, honest, and patient with our concerns. Our technicians are always very friendly & kind. They knock on the door to let us know when they are starting and send us a report of what was performed and any findings that should be brought to our attention. Overall, we have been extremely pleased with the service EcoShield has provided & were extremely happy to be ANT FREE! Thank you EcoShield

      It's posted on my door and doorbell - no soliciting. The tech came to my door and started his sales pitch about how he was servicing my neighbors and he know the area had rats and ants. I interrupted and pointed to the no soliciting signs. He started arguing that he was trying to sell me anything - he just wanted to know who we used. I ended up slamming the door to get my point across that no soliciting means NO. 1) never cop an attitude if you're trying to sell something 2) arguing will never change my mind to buy something from you. Just apologize for not seeing the signs and move along.

      I usually avoid commenting on how this company traps people in contracts (though I agree with those complaints), but I wanted to share a more practical issue that happened to **** had a plumbing leak in my crawl space that needed urgent attention and services in a specific order: Cleanup ? Rat Traps and Treatment ? Plumbing Fix.The plumbing and cleanup crews were fantasticempathetic, responsive, and able to coordinate their visits within 24 hours. They even worked together to help resolve the problem quickly. Unfortunately, Ecoshield was the complete opposite.When I signed up, the salesperson promised they were fast and accommodatinghe even had a crew on standby during the sales pitch, ready to arrive within hours. Naturally, I expected similar treatment when I called their office for help. Instead, I was told that the earliest they could send someone was a full week later. No empathy. No effort to accommodate. Just a flat response that now has me scrambling to deal with a week-long plumbing disruption.The experience was not just disappointingit felt dismissive and misleading. This isnt just about money; its about the complete lack of service and care. I would strongly advise others to steer clear of this company.

      An Ecoshield Pest Control representative came to our home in July of 2024, said that he was in the neighborhood treating a rodent problem for one of our neighbors. He asked if we would like a free inspection. They checked the crawl space only and said that there was evidence of rats. We agreed to a one-time treatment for $184.21. There was no written contract, and, to our knowledge no verbal contract. It was just a one-time treatment on 07/23/2024. They came back on 10/30/2024 and allegedly did another treatment. We told them we no longer wanted their services but paid the $184.21 anyway. They recently contacted us and told us we would have to pay $743.00 to terminate the contract. Given number of similar complaints on this site and others, we have also filed a complaint with the Washington State Attorney General. This company clearly does not hesitate to mislead and cheat customers.

      First of all I was told by your *** that it was special sale. He DID NOT explain I was signing up for a full year and would have to pay back the sale price if I cancelled. To me it was a rip off. TOTALLY Phoney b.s. I have told everyone I know about the scam....yes....scam.

      I would give them a -0 review if I could. Salesperson was misleading about price and i noticed no difference in pest control. What was originally supposed to be $200 ended up costing me over $800 a year. When I tried to cancel, they said I still have to pay an additional $250.64 or they would report me to the credit *****. I wish I had checked with Yelp or the BBB before I hired them. It's a scam that I'm still paying for.

      Ecoshield's response to BBB complaints seem like form letters. This is understandable because there are so many. I have reviewed my contract and nowhere does it state that the visits would cost $250.64. They said that they would be out on December 20th to service my property and never showed up and still charged me. I don't know how this company remains in business. I'm sixty-five years old, homebound and feel like I've been taken advantage of.

      DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY! They are scammers! They walk around with spray bottles and basically DID NOTHING!!! After two of these ridiculous services, we had the worst ant infestation of all time! When I called, they were unable to get someone out for over 2 weeks, even when their marketing messages state that they will respond immediately! I cancelled the service and now they are literally harassing me EVERY day for payment of an "early cancellation discount"! The company I hired to treat the ants charged me less that half of the EcoShield cost! This company is really BAD! Avoid at all costs! My next complaint is the State ************************** This company is predatory in their business practices.

      Should be able to give ZERO stars. Bad service, bullying people into signing a contract so they get more money for cancelling their bad service. They charge you over $200 per service, dont treat your whole property, leave supplies on your property. They make you call to cancel, waste your time trying to convince you to stay with the company, dont take no for an answer, offer you $89 services for the remainder, and dont document your call while youre on the phone with them. Should no be able to charge you a cancelation fee, increase pricing, and should provide video of their services. Scripted tactics, you consistently have to repeat yourself and they dont listen, and they dont seem to care.
