      I want to give them NO STARS SHOULD BE -------I have had them for 1 year here in ** and have not seen any improvement. They are at my house literally 15 minutes which most of that is filling and setting up equipment from the truck. I timed them I have a big house and lot. It literally took them 5 minutes. NO WAY!!! You cannot get them on their number they originally provided. They have some international call center those people are reading from a script and very RUDE. I called today to cancel my appointment for tomorrow. They said I cannot cancel it. They make all kind of excuses. Steer clear. They have a walking salesman come around when they need more work in the area. Promising all kinds of BS. my house is worse than ever with bugs. RUN if you see them. Their turn over of employees is horrible. That speaks for itself.

      I DO NOT RECOMMEND.We moved into a rental house in June 2024 and shortly after had a representative from EcoShield show up at our door. Since I usually have a pest control service, I signed up for the discounted program they offered on a one-year contract. The service was fine. A couple of months after moving in, a different pest control company serviceman came to the house. Unknown to me before this, the owner was already covering a pest control service included with the rental. This made the service from EcoShield unnecessary. When I called to cancel service I explained that the service was being provided by another company under contract with the house owner. The representative suggested I contact the owner to have them cancel the service they had been using for years. When I said no to that, they tried to keep me under contract with them by reducing the per-service fee. I again explained the service was duplicative, yet they persisted. I insisted they discontinue the service. The representative then started to talk about the fact I was under contract and I would be breaking the contract, to which I replied that I understood and would gladly pay the penalty in the discounted price for the services already provided. He then again tried to get me to stay by offering a further discount. At this, I was losing patience with them as they were not listening to how plainly I was explaining I wanted them to terminate the service and I would pay the penalty. I explained I was busy and this was wasting my time. They reminded me that we were being recorded and I replied that I understood and was glad it was because I then again very directly and plainly insisted they cancel the contract, change my card, or I was going to seek legal counsel to do so. He finally canceled service after 20 minutes on the phone with the company. Infuriating customer service. The refusal to simply cancel service and try desperately to keep me under contract was unprofessional and inconsiderate.

      I thought the service was fine and all of the service reps that came to the house were friendly. However I needed to cancel, and they have been harassing me for the last week with emails, texts and phone calls wanting to discuss the cancellation. I shouldn't have to explain my reasons or listen to a sales pitch about other service levels, etc. At first I was sorry to cancel, but I'm beginning to be glad if this is the kind of aggressive company they are.I wish I had read the comments below before signing up.

      The door to door salesman sells you on one service agreement and then emails you a different one. Make sure to read everything in the email and validate. Youll receive two different stories and then be forced to pay a $200 cancellation fee. I would recommend seeking a better pest control company with reviews. Do not entertain the door to door.

      DO NOT HIRE ECOSHIELD PEDT CONTROL!Services promised were not delivered. They arrive late for their service. The only way we know they arrived is through security cameras. **************** at call center is poor and they are rude. We have not seen any improvement since starting the service. We try to cancel and they say we have a 24 month contract. When asked to provide this contract they cannot.DO NOT HIRE ECOSHIELD PEDT CONTROL!

      My experience is very similar to what I am reading below. Hi pressure sales and service tactics, refusal to cancel service. It's like a timeshare sales experience at a Mexican resort. Terrible people and service - I paid to get out of the shady contract as they said they would send me to collections if I didn't pay.No concept of "Customer". Kick them off your property if they come near...

      The good: everyone was super friendly and professional. The work done was thoroughly documented and as far as I can tell effective. Very impressed with the people on the ground and the communication, reminders of service, etc.The bad: When we signed up, we knew we would be selling the house and moving within six months. The worker who signed me up assured me that the best way to do it was to get a quarterly subscription for a discount, and that we could cancel after the second treatment without penalty. When I tried to do so, that turned out to be inaccurate, and I was liable for an additional $165 plus tax. Though I had emailed and explained my circumstance, I had to call and be put on hold several times, explaining to two different people. Even so, I had to talk over the phone representative and make abundantly clear in no uncertain terms that I wanted to cancel my subscription, not suspend it. I got the strong impression that they are encouraged to do anything they can to prevent cancellation.Everyone was very polite and professional, but if I'd known how hard it would be to get rid of the service, I would never have started. I suspect the initial worker knew very well I would have to pay a fee, but also that it would be someone else's problem to deal with.

      EcoShield ignored no soliciting signs, we respectfully asked them to leave, then when that didn't work let them know they were officially warned for trespassing.. took another minute and a half for them to leave while they tried to sell sell sell.I would not recommend a company that clearly has zero disregard for people and only cares about selling as much as possible.
