I filed a CCPA request on-line with whitepages to remove my personal information off their website /they are fishing for more personal information to remove my personal information - they do not have my consent to publish (my address phone number, etc. dob) I have e-mailed in the past to no avail they continue to publish it on their site. Thank you for your help in resolving this issue. The response from whitepages is not acceptable . They are claiming they do not have a profile on me on their site, but when I ****** my name, why is my full name and location coming up under their site ? They are asking for a screen shot or listing of the site but I do not want my location and full name published and made public in the response.
This is from a ****** search from today 11/27/2021 - again if there is no profile on me, why am I coming up in their ****** search ? under the photos you will see whitepages with my full name and location.

I requested to have my information and records removed from Whitepages. They provide an option to remove over the phone that does not work and continues to say "application error". Someone human trafficked my information on this website, and I feel so violated. I did not consent to my information being listed, and I am crying my eyes out because I have been stalked by someones contact information that is in ******** when he studies in *******, which is not tracked in these pages. This isnt funny. Some of us just want to be able to have their own life in privacy and move on. Please do not sell my information without my consent. Some of us do not want contact with those who havent cared about our safety. I speak for anyone who does not have the courage to speak up and have a trace of it on the internet. And please respect that being listed is not a joke for some of us and triggers extreme stress outside of ones choice. Please BBB understand some need privacy see more than others in order to try to take care of themselves. I payed for the service of checking my own information for $9.99. Then there was an action on the website with one click they charged me $19.99. The whole website is a click scam. You push any of the names on the page it auto charges your credit card with out permission. I want a full refund and they need to change the website so people don't get auto charged with *************'s really deceptive.Business Response

I paid to look up one phone number with ***** Pages, and paid the **** via a debt card which continues to be charged monthly as if I had signed up for ongoing service. When you go to there web site there is no contact info, mailing or phone number I could find. They had sent an e-mail notifying me the number I had looked up had changed and I unscribed via that e-mail. My bank will block all future charges and protest the paid items.But this company is automatically enrolling people to their service (likely with a box that needs to be unchecked or something), they have no business contact info.Business Response

On November 7,2022, I went on the Whitepages.com website to have my personal information removed from the site. I followed the directions I found on how to "opt out"of lettting the site, Whitepages.com display my personal information. I typed in my name and address and clicked on "view details" . This brought up my personal information. I copied the *** link to my information and copy and pasted it into the box found on their "opt out" link. When I hit "next" nothing happened. The site would not allow me to continue with the process that the company lays out on how to have my personal info. removed. I proceeded to call the number provided to receive some help with this only to get a recording with options. I chose the appropriate number option only to have it repeat my options again. I could not get through to anyone on the 800 number provided for help. I would like the Whitepages to remove my personal information from their sites.Business Response
