      At the Eddie Bauer store in ********************************************************************************************, a domineering woman with shoulder-length blond dyed hair and a slight accent whom Ill refer to as the manager falsely accused me of being someone who had video-taped her in the store on another occasion and in a state of paranoia she yelled at me in front of customers and demanded I get out of the store! I believe that she also kicked me out because I suddenly chose NOT to buy $150 - $175 worth of clothes, as I had done on Oct 21 (a month earlier in that very store) and I have the debit statement as evidence. I had decided against buying more clothes because the manager was rude after ** mentioned that a seam on a shirt I wanted to buy wasnt sewn right. That was the second time she'd been rude and I was about to ask the manager if she had another shirt when she angrily snapped. Well, dont buy it then! I announced then that I wouldnt be buying my $150 - $175 order. Then, in a state of paranoia, she accused me of being someone who had video-taped her once, and she proceeded to yell at me in front of staff and customers and ordered me to leave the store. She also called RioCan security and put on a show to act sweetly when security arrived. I was able to identify the security people because they gave away their undercover identity earlier. Becasue of my $250.70 purchase from Eddie Bauer a month earlier, how could I possibly be someone who had video-taped her on another occasion? If this were true, I wouldn't go near the store or the woman. This was a false accusation by a manager with customer service issues; a case of mistaken identity. Considering her temper, she must have annoyed someone else. I'm willing to bet that she kicks many people out of the store, I will be contacting the legal department of Eddie Bauer, the police, ****** and others.

      Terrible service! I placed an order on October 12th for a pair of snow pants. I paid for 2 day shipping. When the tracking number indicated the item would arrive in 6 days, they did refund what I paid for 2 days shipping. When it arrived, it was a vest and not the snow pants I ordered. I have spent close to two hours, on three different occasions, chatting and on the phone to try to get this resolved. They sent me a label to return the vest, which I did, but still no snow pants. After 45 minutes, again today, customer service said they placed a new order and that it is not even scheduled to ship until November 13 - more than a month from when I ordered it. Even if it ships then, who knows when it will arrive and if it will be the correct item. It has been so frustrating and such a waste of my time that I declined that the $20 gift card I was offered as I will not order from them again. (Really - they want to compensate me at $10/hr for my time?) Let me provide an example of why I had to spend so much time. Using their chat function, when I was asked how I could be helped I answered, "I received the wrong item from my order. I have returned the wrong item but have not received the item I originally ordered. I do not think I got a new order number to be able to track the correct item that was sent". Thirty minutes into this conversation I was asked, "Do you have another order number?" He wanted to know what item I did receive. I replied, "It was a vest. I have already returned it. I provided the item number and lots of other information off the tag during a previous chat when they were to send me the correct item." The reply by the service associate to that was, "Kindly return the item in its original, unworn, unused condition with proof of purchase within one year. You may return the item by mail using our prepaid return label. As soon as we receive the item, we'll go ahead and process the full refund back to the original form of payment". What's a customer to do?

      I recently place numerous orders with Eddie Bauer. One of the orders was broken out into two shipments. I received one of the packages, but have never received the 2nd one. I received notification that pre-shipment information had been sent to **** on August 5, but no shipping updates since then. I called Eddie Bauer a week ago and was told they could not help me until 15 days had elapsed since the order was shipped. I called back today and was told the same thing. I tried to explain to the woman that the order had never been shipped, so they are counting the 15-days from an imaginary date. I will NEVER order from Eddie Bauer again, nor will I shop at one of your stores. I want my money back for the three shirts I never received, which were never shipped. We are not talking about much money here because all items were on clearance, but that's not the point. I ordered three items which I clearly am not going to receive and I am receiving bogus information from Eddie Bauer regarding how long I must wait before they will consider the package lost. Ridiculous!

      Company is not processing refunds for items retuned, I am over 2 months out (after multiple returns of defective product) and numerous times contacting and getting told it will be processed in 3-5 days, then finance isnt issuing them. If I had to fathom a guess Eddie Bauer is facing bankruptcy. The first jacket I ordered as part of this had to be returned to to stitching coming out on arrival. The second came with even more falling out. With the first return I took it to a store and the clerk pushed not crediting it back to my credit card and just giving me store credit. After long enough of him acting like the card refund wouldnt match the price I accepted the credit. Big mistake, they now have my money, I am locked into store credit and they have the most recent return. Not the store it used to be, I would advise anyone to stay away.
