This is a summary of ongoing concerns regarding unethical moderation, contributor bias, and potential fraud within Getty Images, involving users KelvinJay, RichLegg, and O2OCREATIVE.KelvinJay, real name ****** *********, is a UK-based Getty forum moderator who has locked threads, dismissed contributor concerns, and appears to be abusing his role. Evidence suggests he holds a dual position as both moderator and active contributor, creating a clear conflict of interest. Reports are being prepared for regulatory bodies including the ************************************ (***), highlighting abuse of platform authority, reviewer bias, and suppression of competing content.RichLegg, once a prominent Getty contributor, now has many of his assets appearing under a different nameO2OCREATIVE. This transition raises concerns about metadata tampering or deliberate rebranding to avoid detection. The content under O2OCREATIVE appears identical to RichLeggs prior uploads, fueling the suspicion that they are either the same person or working together.Further, content from these accounts routinely gets acceptedeven when similar or nearly identical content submitted by others is rejected. This pattern suggests insider manipulation of the review process. Some of the accepted content under these accounts includes trademarked brands, commercial product displays, and editorial-style videos that were rejected from other contributors citing vague or inconsistent reasons.A formal escalation has been initiated, including: Side-by-side comparisons of rejected/approved content. Screenshots of suspicious metadata (e.g., **** birth year). Legal drafts prepared for Gettys legal department, and outreach to federal and international oversight bodies. This raises serious questions about platform integrity, conflict of interest, and fair competition on Getty Images. These patterns indicate systemic bias and warrant immediate legal, ethical, and regulatory review.

I am extremely frustrated with my recent experience regarding Istock/Getty images regarding a subscription I never signed up for. When I noticed an unauthorized charge on my card I stopped the payment. I reached out to Istock customer service and spoke with ***** for clarification and instead of them resolving the issue they wanted to charge me $75 admin fee to get out of my subscription. I strongly advise to stay away from this scam. I asked to speak to someone of management authority and ***** said they would tell me the same thing but make a note to have someone reach me.

Misleading thieves. Be ware, Don't sign up for this service there are other s out there that are just as good. Don't let the name fool you. Getty is big time money, and its because the steal. I signed up for a free trail and never used the account. Instead of charging me a basic fee of $24 a month like other similar services they decided to charge me a premium of $70. I woke up to a bill for a service I hadn't used. That was my mistake and I've done it before. However, when I called to say I'd like to cancel, they went ahead and cancelled and then told me I no longer had use of the service. So, in other words I gave them $70 for nothing. When I complained and said well at least let me utilize it for the month like I just paid for like other companies would do they said that my paying $70 was to cancel and it used to be that people couldn't cancel. So, I should be grateful. The customer service were condescending and rude too. This company is terrible. WHAT A RACKET!!!!!!!!!!!

This company is a complete scam. They charged me $70 for an annual fee and refuse to refund my money. Every employee I interacted with was rude, unprofessional, and completely unhelpful. They dont listen or care about your concerns and constantly speak over you when you try to explain the issue. Its clear they have no interest in their customers or resolving problems. I strongly advise against doing business with this company, and they should be reported for their unethical practices.

*****************. They immediately charged my account the day my free trial ended. I emailed them immediately and asked for them to cancel my subscription and to give me a refund since I could not find how to cancel my free trial before the end. At 3am, IStock emails me back saying they did cancel my subscription, but will not give me a refund. This is a scummy company with confusing terms, and an anti-consumer friendly website interface. It is ridiculous that they can not give me a refund after I emailed them right away on the day my free trial ended, and decided the best time to email me back was at 3am.

Like everyone else, I signed up for a free trial. Istock getty images. I downloaded 10 images on the first day and then canceled my subscription, but I started getting billed at $74 a month and there is no way of verbally talking to anyone. You just get emails repeatedly back saying that you cannot cancel your subscription before the year ends, which I never even signed up for. You cant cancel on their site, which is ridiculous. Subscriptions can always be canceled and it even says in the fine print that you might get a administrative fee, but they still do not do it and I will probably take legal action on this.

I am not using the service any longer and wanted to cancel. They keep sending me the same email about getting a different subscription even though no longer want to use the service. This company is straight up trying to entrap their customers to be unable to cancel the service. It is total dishonest and scummy.

How can the BBB give Istock an "A" when they have a customer rating of 1/5 and 200+ complaints? The BBB is not a reliable source if they do not consider such a large amount of negative feedback when rating a business. Just look on Trustpilot, Reddit, and the customer reviews on this site to understand that this is an ongoing issue for 1000s of people. The only way Istock is still making a profit is by stealing and being dishonest.

Atrocious. I wish I had read these reviews before using their free trial service. Problem 1) As my free trial was ending, I couldn't cancel on the website. I had to email, meaning I had limited control over my own account. 2) Their terms of service are deceptive. I've already paid for a month ($70 for one month for PHOTOS.) but, apparently, my situation falls under the "free trial" part of section B of the License Agreement. 3) They canceled my subscription, they say, but I don't see any evidence of it other than I can't download any more images nor do I have access to any I've used on that site that aren't already on my computer, yet I did NOT get a refund for this month's $70. I'm concerned another $70 will come out next month because my month's statement says auto renewal is on.Don't mess with this company. They are dishonest and awful.
