      Their subscription model operates the same was as *****, the model that has landed ***** in hot water with lawsuits. Do not support this company, if you attempt to cancel you will be charged cancellation fees which aren't obvious up front. I was not simply because I never used the account, so I was given at least that leeway. My fault was not noticing these charges sooner and letting it snowball into quite a sum of money.

      Do not sign up for a subscription to Getty Images. Their licensing agreement and user experience are deceptive, leading you to believe that you can cancel at any time. The customer service department gave me standard canned, **** I must add, replies via chat to my inquiry about the subscription and my frustration. Ultimately, I paid hundreds of dollars for the image I downloaded during the trial. I will put a stop to this charge on my credit card.

      This company intentionally deceives customers into believing they are signing up for a monthly service that can be cancelled at any time when in fact they are signing up for a 1-year contract. They offer a fake option to disable automatic payments through their website, however will still continue to charge credit cards even when this option is selected. A quick look at their website reveals this disable automatic payment button is a non-functioning element meant to trick users into thinking they are in fact disabling. They will also continue to charge credit cards even after informing customers that they have deleted their account and removed them from their servers.

      We needed to cut expenses temporarily. After reviewing our toolset, we decided to put our Getty Images subscription on hold.We missed the renewal cancellation date by only a day or two. I asked if they would offer a refund for the two additional days of our license, and they refused to budge on the renewal date, which has us locked in for an additional year of their premium subscription. We were slated to remove this license to save on costs, but now we're saddled with a subpar image service for an additional year at $140/month.I don't see any reason why this policy should be so strict. I understand if we had continued to use the license after the renewal that they would deny the refund, but we weren't using it at all, and we barely missed the renewal date. It is a policy that provides no leniency for users and shows no compassion at all for their clients. We are extremely disappointed in this company.After years of using their service, we will most certainly not renew with them and will not recommend them in the future.

      This company is a scam! I don't know how it is legal but it sure feels like entrapment. They charge a ridiculously high fee if you don't cancel your subscription before the monthly trial has ended. $70 a month, I didn't notice till the 2nd month and then they said they wouldn't let me get out of the subscription until the remaining balance of over $600 was paid off!!Insane.

      iStockphoto Alert. Scam subsciptions. We sent email to cancel subscription and still they are taking a yearly subscription without any responses. First of all, what is this yearly subscription even if it is what made them not to cancel or take whole bunch of money through out the year.

      I have been trying to cancel my subscription after my free trial and could not figure out how to do this. It appears they have signed me up for an annual subscription. It starts as a monthly free trial subscription and converts to an annual subscription. Too bad the business is not good enough to stand on its own merits. Instead they must trick people to get subscriptions. Many bad reviews online. Wish I had checked them before doing any business with them.

      I had a terrible experience with iStock by Getty Images. Despite canceling my subscription months ago and turning off auto-renewal, I was charged $70 for two consecutive months, totaling $140.When I contacted customer support, they confirmed that my request was visible and acknowledged that I had indeed canceled my subscription several months prior. Despite this, I was informed that I would not receive the $140 that was wrongly charged to my account. Additionally, I was told that I would lose access to download images from their platform, even though they refused to issue a refund. This essentially means I am paying for a service I can't use, which is completely unacceptable.iStock's behavior is unethical and constitutes theft. Being charged for a service I canceled and denied access to what I paid for caused significant frustration and financial inconvenience.I urge potential customers to be cautious when dealing with ********************** and hope the company will review and improve its cancellation and billing practices.

      I would give it 0 stars. This company really does trap you into purchasing a subscription via their free trial without me realizing. I had two trial subscriptions by accident. I was fully aware of 1, which I made an attempt to cancel before the trial ended, but did not realize I had the 2nd trial, and was charged for the 1 year subscription, and charged me $75. They would not provide me a refund or a 1 time courtesy.TRIAL VERSION BEWARE. Do NOT do business with this company; you may one day regret it.

      An absolute scam that needs to be shut down. DO NOT SIGN UP for a free trial because they will start charging you $95 per month for a year and then say there's a $70 cancellation fee. There is no way to cancel on the website, you have to call their snotty loser customer service reps and they are THE WORST.
