      Sold us a non working clothes washer and dryer. Told us the squeak would go away after a week. It never did. Now leaving oil spots on clothes. Insisted on repairs instead of replacing. I have been out a washer for a month! Waiting 2 more weeks for parts. Never buy from them.

      Look elsewhere!!!! What a nightmare dealing with ****'s. I called to request a service call for our double oven on Jan. 24, 2023. We had this same failure a few years ago and I told the scheduler which part was needed. An appointment was made for February 10th. On that morning they called and said that they didn't have anyone available to come due. They then set the next appointment for February 23rd. On the morning of Feb 23rd they called and again said they wouldn't be able to come. The next appointment was set for March 6th and the same thing happened that morning. Finally on March 17th 2 repairmen show up without the part that they were supposed to bring. Being a glutton for punishment I agreed they could order the part and get the oven repaired as long as it would be be prior to Easter when my wife would need both ovens. On March 29th the scheduler called and said that the part was in and the next available slot was April 24th. I explained that I was assured that it would be installed prior to Easter which is April 9th this year and was told that would not be possible. At that point I'd enough and walked away from the fiasco that I should have ended much earlier. To top things off they quoted $200 more for the part than other suppliers and wanted $250/hr for labor. To recap: 3 no shows that wasted my time and then on the 4th they show up without the part. All this over a 2 month time frame. It appears that when they miss an appointment that your next opportunity will be pushed out to the end of the waiting list.

      Sold me a $3,000+ refrigerator knowing the ice machine has a documented history of freezing up and needing repair. My bad for not doing more investigating on the product, but I should be able to trust the salesperson is relaying all pertinent information. Granted it's been 3 years, but when I showed up asking for them to repair it at no charge to make it right (even though we both know it'll happen again), especially since we have purchased multiple appliances from them in the last 4 years AND because I send a lot of business their way I was told no. Upon re-iterating again that they sold me this product with full knowledge of the problem and that it is much easier to keep a customer than to find a new one, I was told they are only willing to take care of reasonable customers. Say what? Bottom line: ****'s is great ... until you have a problem, and then somehow it'll be your fault for them not taking care of you.

      Ive bought appliances from Freds for years. Always had a good experience with the sales staff. I never had an issue until I had to deal with their customer service on appliance repair. I remodeled my kitchen and bought all new appliances from them. The hood was installed 4 months ago (after waiting 5 months to receive it) and it hasnt worked from day one. They've been out 3 times throwing parts at it and its still never worked. *** tried multiple ways to get a replacement hood but no one there seems to care. I asked to speak to the branch manager for over 3 weeks and finally spoke with him today (*****************). I was blown away when he got confrontational with me when I was explaining the issue. I have never experienced the complete lack of professionalism from a company before. I will never recommend anyone to purchase from this company again.

      The products these people sell are like any other appliance store. Whats different is their appallingly poor customer service.Two months to fix a defect out of the box, and sold me an appliance that had previously been returned because it was defective.Customer service will not hesitate to direct your call to a dead end message phone if they do not like your tone of voice, or ask to speak with someone that can make decisions. Yes, that does it for me. No more purchases from them.

      Absolute horrible customer service. Right before thanksgiving my GE dishwasher quit working after less than three years which, I don't blame on them as it was control board failure, but the soonest they could get a tech out for the warranty repair was December 26th. I waited the month to only be told the tech called out sick that day and I was now bumped to January 10th. Had to take a day off from work for the tech to look at it for 15mins and order the part. Part arrived January 17th but I now have to wait till February 22nd to have it installed. Three months with no working dishwasher and having to continually take time off from work for them to just push it out and I paid extra for the warranty. If you are buying appliances do not buy from them they cant support the product they sell or even treat their customers with respect.

      What a mistake to do business with either of them-FREDS APPLIANCE OR FREDS REPAIR. We paid to get our dishwasher (which is fairly new) fixed. Wrong diagnosis!! that took at least 6 weeks. scheduled us again, for another 6 weeks- another diagnosis w expensive parts they ordered another 8 weeks at least to schedule us again 6 weeks ago called and said he didn't have time to come out- SO THEY RESCHEDULED US AGAIN TODAY I HAD HAND surgery and my husband comes all the way home while i was in surgery to wait for them THE SAME DUDE CALLS At 5 after confirming his visit this morning, AND SAYS THEY WILL HAVE TO RESCHEDULE--- AND THEN HE SAYS"YOU DON'T EXPECT ME TO WORK AT NIGHT DO YOU? " SO THIS HAS been going on since summer and the only reason we kept going is because we already paid for something the didn't do. i don't know about small claims court or what, but we will see. ****** OR ********** FROM NOW ON .

      I have been waiting over 2 months for a microwave repair. *** has been out her twice and doesn't seem as though he knows anything about appliances....Poor repair service. I would not recommend buying ANYTHING from ****'s Appliances ever!

      ****'s appliance is the worst to buy an appliance!!! I bought a 3000$ refrigerator and The seal on the door came off. It took a month to get a tech to "diagnose" the seal came off (duh) and it has been over another month for the part to come in. Now it has been over another month and I got scheduled DURING MY WORK HOURS!!! So that tech called and got me scheduled for the next day on my day off. The tech department calls me this morning and says that that tech called out sick. They want to reschedule me for another day!!!!!! UNBELIEVABLE Warning!!! if you buy an appliance from Freds, DO NOT BUY THE EXPENSIVE WARRANTY!!!00000 stars

      This company is the worst company I've dealt with in my 74 yrs. If I could give them zero stars I would. There is no customer service in their repair department. Three times in the last three yrs (I have a five yr agreement) they took my phone call and my information about the problem and did nothing with the info. When the month was up (when they said the part should be in), I called but there was no record of the issue and I had to start the process over. Another problem I had was they kept ordering the wrong part. The first time the wrong part came in, they called me and said I had to come pick it up. When I got there, I could immediately tell it was the wrong part and they said they'd order it again. The second time the part came in, they sent it to me and when I called and said it wasn't the right part, they wanted me to bring it back to them - I don't live in ******* so I refused and we dealt with that. The third time it was the right part, about three months after my initial call. The problems go on and on and on. The technician who comes out, however, is always very nice and competent. Since the five yr agreement wasn't cheap, I've continued to deal with ****'s but I really wish I had not purchased anything from them. I truly do not understand how a service department can be so incredibly incompetent. Consistently.
