      Im wondering if this is a trend. Three years ago applied for a home loan through BECU. Decided to go through them for the loan because of the interest rate. At the 11th hour BECU called and said they made a mistake and we have to come up with $7000 out of our pocket to continue the loan. Reluctantly, we gave the money to continue and finish the loan fast-forward three years I applied for an RV loan got the loan and within the last two days of picking up the camper and finishing the process for the loan we had to come up with another bill of sale because BECU wasnt satisfied with the one we gave them, they neglected to tell us that because the loan was not for the maximum amount I was approved for that. We were only going to be allowed to have 72 payments instead of 120 which drove up our monthly bill. we agreed to that then 30 minutes before signing the paperwork and going to pick up the camper I was told we were going to need to come up with $3400 out of our pocket because they didnt value the Camper at the asking price. Am I the only one that sees trend here? regardless, I will not be applying for any RV loans with BECU in the future and again you can apologize for all you want, but it doesnt make up for the fact that youre a bank you should know these things and you shouldnt wait till the last minute to tell your customer.

      They no longer take loan payments. Told to go to *****. Go to ***** that location did not take payments either. Call BECU still trying to pay on my loan. Give routing number and checking info. It is put in wrong, I will later find out. Call today why money has not come out. They put it in wrong. Can take my debit info and "waive" fee. Answer yes to amount due for loan and "waived" fee. After Call get notified I was charged more than I said yes to. Fee was not "waived" call back yet aging told nothing they can do. Transaction is done. Ask for over charge amount be returned. Told nothing will be done. Ask to speak to manager. Told they will call back 24 to ************************************* by taking more than I authorized and I have to wait for manager call?! No customer service and all my time I have used trying to pay them. Act like I did something wrong! ******** customer service and impossible to pay them for a loan.

      I have to say it, I love this credit union. I really do. Im a 73 year old retired school teacher fastidious about my finances. Had an identity theft problem with a bunch of other srs and had to change everything. Turns out becu is the bulldog of fraud protection. I dont speak geek either and someone is always there to kindly lend a hand if needed and laugh with me. Always on my side. Problem? Not defensive. Open minded .munis may be just my experience but I doubt it , it id company policy, bringing cookies.

      If you planning to use becu card or access bank acount, apperently is no longer allowed when traveling abroad is a new thing, they are putting me through h*** to access my funds, I ask for wire transfer to my other bank account which is in WA state they are refusing to do it and just want to hold on to my fund. Worst bank to deal with when traveling, I am regrating why I ever bank with them. All their website won't connect, I spoke with becu technical person who explained to me I can't access my bank account zelle or the website when abroad so now I have to fly in just to verify my self and use this stone age bank. ********** ever.

      WORST customer service if need anything beyond savings or checking. Did a wire transfer of $400k and left down, 4 day s later still no transfer. NO WAY TO CALL and no phone call from BECU. Turns out the **** checked the box for incoming vs outgoing. Never would have gotten a call. Went into bank and offered to waive the repeat fee of $25 again. WOW how noble. Asked about lost interest or 1st fee and blamed us for not reading their form. BECU _ spend more money on training than commercials please! You would think that for a client would be just alittle more catered too. I am closing my account.

      Becu is not for the people,they only are for themsleves, trying to figuring out my credit card debt and they don't give a s*** weather or not you are hurting or not ,it's a huray for me (becu) and s**** you pay your bill or else ,BECU stands for ,they do not want to help anyone with debt, only to destroy your credit in the long run

      BECU FAILED to tell my mom they dropped her credit balance from 11k to $500.00 they didnt even give her a heads up. She was embarrassed while she was in line as her card transaction did not go through. This is terrible customer service and I do not recommend ********************** as a bank. Absolutely horrific

      reduced my credit limit without notice now my charge put me over that limit. I always paid on time and I just received a raise in pay, no reason given I also had charges on this card twice from someone else and had to replace the card

      So frustrating. We have them for a car loan and they outsource their insurance proof website to someone else. I uploaded my items multiple times to prove insurance and none of their customer care **** seem to be able to find my proof. I spent 4 hours handling this issue with a *** from both my insurance company and the bank. I have never missed a car payment and I have owned cars for 24 years with zero issues. Until BECU. They are scam artists. I literally told the *** I will just eat the ****** because of all the time wasted thinking it was handled. They are doing this on purpose to nickel and dime us since most won't have enough energy to fight through their holding times. I am so angry and frustrated. ****** ****** ******* ****** *****, **** ******* ****** ***** are the best. Never had a problem. BECU is ****

      Never in over 15 years+ of membership have I EVER gotten the account activity alerts to work. Tried several times over my 15 year+ membership. NEVER F****** WORKED. I'm not the only one who has dealt with this frustration. I'm a retired IT/software test automation engineer (not a product developer) but a developer that builds automated tests that verify new code has not F'd up existing code/functionality.Although I primarily worked in Windows, but I am fluent in Linux (several flavors) so I'm familiar with arcane syntax. I've had enough... time to close my account and go try a local BANK!!!
