      I paid my personal loan in full online at least that's what I thought I was doing..then I was charged additional interest that I wasn't aware of ? so I paid remaining interest after that then they charged my interest again, and they were not able to explain to me where the mystery interest came from ?? So I was forced to pay an additional amount I didn't owe ??? Online also wasn't reporting accurately.The people I talked to were also incredibly rude on the phone and left me on hold forever. If I could give them zero stars, I would!! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else !!

      My husband is a long term customer of **********************. This week we visited the downtown ******* branch and while we conducted our business, another customer reached over and asked the two of us to witness on their trust account. We instantly felt pressured. At this point, BECU had done nothing wrong other than providing some slow service for the concerns we brought to the branch that day. But then I looked to both clerks (the one helping us and the one helping the other customers) and the one helping the other customer encouraged us to sign as witnesses. We don't even know what we signed, one notary document and other document. The clerk helping us also seemed to be part of encouraging us to serve as witnesses. But we were never instructed what we were signing or what was happening, just received social pressure from two strangers we'd never seen before and two BECU clerks to take part in a legal document process we had no instruction on. I have relatives in the banking industry knowledgeable about trust accounts and they were appalled when we called them about this incident. I tried to find a BECU feedback place on their website to send in this report. There was none. The situation was strange, made us uncomfortable, and has likely convinced us to move our business elsewhere as soon as we can.

      This bank is lie, they repossessed our because of they can't be competent and see our insurance is on file, because of that they applied fees to our account.Now we're with 3 kids at home, with no commute at all, missed all the appointments for 5/9/2024.I've never done this before, but i will seek this to lawyer, and *** them for this.We have all the COI's from Progressive and Geico.With they go out of business.Scammers.       I applied for a home equity loan. The loan processor ***************************** stalled the process by a lack of communication and knowledge of her job. The loan could have been shortened by two weeks thereby alleviating my anxiety about rising interest rates. Disappointing customer service!

      Their promotions are SCAMS. You have to call and call and fight for them to give you what youve earned and even then they give you the run around. Oh itll be 2 weeksFROM 3 MONTHS AGO.I shouldve never come back to BECU. There are so many other credit unions who actually provide adequate service to the people who bank with them.BECU is a joke. Youre better off at Chase.

      They claim to provide security to customer accounts. That's simply not true with my experience. When my bank card was stolen and used, they not only charged me extra fees, I am also out the money that was withdrawn from my account. In my opinion their ATM machines are not secure considering the technology available today. I am a female who looks nothing like the individual who committed the crime that BECU did not assist me with resolving in a 'customer first' manner at all. I have some medical disadvantages that I definitely believe in my opinion were used against me in a discriminatory way. It's just my opinion and I don't agree with being associated with any company who refuses to assist their customer. Maybe they simply did not want to do the extra work in checking their ATM camera. They managed to destroy my credit, considering that I had an account in good standing with them for over 30 years, I would have to advise against banking with them. I had never been treated so bad by them before. Apparently they aren't about putting their customers first anymore. I advise you to use diligence when using their ATM machines and protect your bank card with your life because if it gets stolen and misused you will become the bad guy from the banks perspective. Just my real thoughts, feelings, opinions, and the sad facts. Good day.

      BECU used to be a decent responsive credit union. Over the last decade it has declined and declined. It is no different than large businesses where you can never reach anyone when you have a real problem - and each time you call in, you get a different person, and sometimes are directed to web-forms for "inquiries," where you won't receive back any useful information, nor a name of a person, or any contact information. In addition, there is no way to get to an ombudsman.After decades with them, I am done, done, done. I have 3 other credit union accounts, and all my assets will be move over to a competent caring business.

      I used to like BECU back when it was just ******. Had this bank for a long time. Lately, not so much. I paid my bill on time for years, this last one I paid it, they cashed it and I thought all was good. But no, I received a letter two weeks later stating I did pay my bill. I called and what a cluster! The representative asked me all of my personal information and I told her why I was calling. She had troubles, couldn't find the information, her headset wasn't working and she said I would get a call back. Nope, no call! I'm still trying to get this taken care of. BECU sure attached the late fees fast and want more money! I even have my bank statement to show my check was cashed. Still nothing.! Horrible service. Don't bank here.......go anywhere else. Don't know what happened to the local bank. Step up BECU!

      I want to preface this by saying that I used to hold BECU in high regard. Not anymore. From a string of fraudulent transactions with my debit card, to having credit card fraud within the first six months of opening one, plus going through a runaround trying to open a cash back credit card I am fed up. BECU needs to step up and actually put people first by prioritizing security of members money and operating with more transparency. If you bank here check your accounts daily and use Apple Pay to give your transactions an extra layer of security. Be prepared to advocate for yourself. Very disappointed with the direction BECU is going in.
