***** showed up on-time and worked through my punch list without delay. He gave a straight forward bid and completed work as agreed. The pricing was very high but worth it to get work done by my deadline. ***** was personable and acted professionally. Our services was prompt, professional and pleasant. He worked quickly and was friendly. My only issue was the price point. $380 for a clogged hose in the sink was higher than what I was expecting. Besides that everything was great.D&F Plumbing, Heating and Cooling

My plumber that showed up was awesome. *************************. He was even early, which was a plus. He knew what he was doing and worked efficiently. All the other reviews complained about the price and that is my only complaint - very high pricing. But when things are leaking, we need them fixed so I paid for the convenience and the quality. we called out D&F when our water bill was more than double the usual amount. **** came by (at the early end of the window of time provided) and was super helpful. Not only did he inspect all the usual suspects, he did a great job of explaining everything to me. As a woman sometimes people tend to be dismissive or talk down to me when my husband isn't around, but **** did no such thing. he was more than happy to provide education and recommendations. he priced out several options for us for several scenarios and also gave me some tips on repair should we decide to do it ourselves (basically the issue came down to needing to replace a toilet, or a part of it). I am not sure that we won't do the replacement ourselves, as we could save a lot of money, but we would definitely call upon D&F again should we have the need! *after reading other reviews i'd like to note that there probably are cheaper places, but there are also more expensive ones and i can say from experience, you typically get what you pay for. if you aren't happy with an estimate, don't take the work. this company pays its employees a living wage and provides them health insurance and the like. i didn't find that the pricing was unreasonable for a skilled trade - obviously it's more expensive than doing it yourself, but if you can't, that's why you call someone who knows what they're doing.D&F Plumbing, Heating and Cooling

When I called and schedule the appointment the lady on the phone was polite and very helpful. My Tech that came out named ***** was super helpful and and answered all my question and was extremely knowledgeable when going over the estimates for the work he was called out for and the work my wife and I are interested in having done in the future. This business takes advantage of customers by charging excessively. I live on the east coast and own a condo in ******** - my daughter is the tenant. We were charged $1,276.57 for simply removing and replacing a leaky kitchen faucet. Time spent was 90 min (15 min inspection; 45 min to and from store to purchase a faucet; and 30 min of actual work). When I called to dispute the charge, I was pleased to have the manager acknowledge a mistake. He agreed to refund $776.57 so that the total cost would be $500. Still too much in my opinion but I was willing to allow it and move on. Instead of refunding the correct amount, they shorted me $276.57, which I dont believe was a mistake. I have called back 3 times and have not heard back. Based on reviews, it appears the business model of this company is to overcharge and then hope enough customers simply pay the excessive charges. I will never do business with D and F Plumbing again. And I have filed a complaint with Consumer Protection. Dont waste your time and money with this dishonest business.D&F Plumbing, Heating and Cooling
