I've been being abused by members of the Steam moderator staff over a dispute regarding their protection of pedophiles on their platform and my hatred of them. Steam moderators have been repeatedly harassing me and issuing bans for things I have not done. My profile has been repeatedly vandalized by Steam Moderators including removal of my Avatar, which does not reasonably violate their TOS. I had my Summary changed and was issued a ban for saying "I will never lose my smile." which was added in support of Men's Mental Health Month. I was issued a nebulous "ban" for "Web Links" which I had never added to my profile as well as an "inappropriate name" under the real name section which for privacy reasons I had NEVER added anything to.The abuse has reached the point I am concerned they will delete my account purely out of malice resulting in the loss of approximately $1000 worth of content I have purchased.This abuse has caused undue stress and strain on my mental health and indeed has degraded my quality of life since it began.Initial Complaint

I bought a **** on their platform so that I can buy games leagaly and not infiringe on copyrights. I bought the Game Mafia III on their platform and it worked for about 2 years. then they droped support for the game. My complaint is that they are accusing me of tryng to return the game after playing more than 2 hours as per ther ULA. however, it also states in their ULA that they are required to provide a suitable platform if I buy the game from them, and they broke that *** by not supporting the game on their platform. June 18, 2025: changes to my credit card appeared from Steam Games, a platform owned by Valve. I have no subscription with them nor am I a gamer. Two attempts to withdraw $60 from my account appeared overnight. Their website has a whole section on what to do (contact them) when fraudulent charges appear.Initial Complaint

My STEAM account was hacked. ********************** is refusing to assist me in recovering my ********** April I received a text message saying the following from Steam Support:Steam: Support has removed this number from the account and_pilot. Contact us if you didn't request this.I created a ticket: Ticket: HT-7WK5-829M-B8CV Steam support refused to help me. They are asking for a cd key. We live in an age where every purchase made from steam is digital so a cd key is not available. I havent bought a physical disc in almost two decades.Steam support then asked me to provide my last 4 of a credit card associated with my account which I successfully provided.Then they asked me the original email address my account was associated with which I provided. Keep in mind I dont have access to this email anymore because its been over 20 years!!! I dont use the same ISP. Once I cancel an ISP the email address gets cancelled within a designed set time.Then they asked me for my address and I provided them my last 4 addresses which matched.Then steam is asking for a CD key again which again I cant provide.Then they asked for a purchase id from ****** from before 2010 I provided them a purchase id info from 2011 via their portal but that wasnt good enough for some reason. ****** cannot provide me the info from 15+ years ago! This is absolutely ridiculous! Not even banks are required to maintain records or statements more than 7 years.I feel that valve corporation is acting in bad faith and wont help me resolve this issue and help me retrieve my ********** second ticket Ive opened with them went unresolved again. Purchased a steam deck from the steam store for $553.38. I requested to return it and did so. Now they closed out the return stating that its still in my possession, and they never received it. On June 7, 2025, my Steam account was compromised in a phishing attack from ******,*******I am based in *******,*******I reacted quicklywithin 30 minutes of the incident I contacted Steam Support, changed my password, and logged out of all devices. Despite my quick response, the scammer stole ****** UAH (~$435 USD) from my Steam Wallet.I submitted all evidence of the phishing scheme. After multiple support tickets, Steam admitted the account was compromised via phishing and confirmed they took action against the scammers accountmost likely freezing the stolen balance. However, they refused to return my money, citing California law and the Steam Subscriber Agreement. This is absurd, especially after admitting it was fraud and with all evidence confirming it.Steam profited from this fraud by taking a 15% commission from the stolen balance when it was transferred via a fake item sale for 0.27 UAH (~$0.01). Despite benefiting financially from the ****, they refuse to refund the victim.I have been a loyal Steam customer for nearly 7 years and have sold and purchased thousands of items on their marketplace, generating regular profit for Valve. While Steam refuses to refund ordinary users even in proven scam cases, they are known to fully restore stolen inventories and balances for influencers, bloggers, and wealthy users when pressured publicly. This discriminatory double standard is unacceptable.Instead of helping, Steam Support threatened me with a community ban for asking for justice and closed my tickets without responses or warnings. Consumer protection laws, even under California jurisdiction, do not justify denying refunds in confirmed fraud cases. Steam acknowledged the scam, holds the stolen balance, and must return it. I purchased a 1TB steam deck. The device stopped staying on so I sent it in for an RMA. The company acknowledged they received it on the 5th. It is now the 11th. I purchased a game from Steam (Valve subsidiary). The game never arrived in my library. It was a deluxe version of a game I had already purchased and was in my library. The installation didn't go right. The only record I have of the purchase is the ****** receipt. For some reason, customer support couldn't tell the difference between the DELUXE version and the non-deluxe title I already had.
