Steam is continuing to knowingly and admittedly sell software (the entire Jackbox Party Packs Series) which they are fully aware does not work. Not only is Steam Support refusing to fix the internal glitches causing the various issues thus making the program usable, but even more also refuses to approve refunds for those who have purchased this faulty software and which does not run. Even though their employees claim selling unusable games is a perfectly legitimate way to conduct business, how is it even possibly legal for them to do this? Two representatives from Steam ************* both admitted the company has indeed (since at least September of 2021) continued to market and sell various software through its website/app which it is fully cognizant of the fact contains software glitches which make the applications entirely unworkable. Attached below is the Steam ticket chat transcript, screen shots from their own website citing multiple other Macs users also confirming they were experiencing the same exact issue, and the receipts for all the purchase of defective software - the total paid to be refunded: $117.85.Their final response: Steam/Valve did not create the software, so they supposedly do not have the tools to fix it. Since I clearly purchased these items directly from Steam utilizing their own application, who exactly do I go to to fix this software which ONLY runs through Steam's platform, and which they were well aware was unusable well before the products were first sold to me? Furthermore, since they are allegedly unable to rectify the issues and thus make the programs usable, why are they not only refusing a refund, but also continuing to market, sell, and make a profit from defective products?Initial Complaint

I updated the Steam client by Valve Corporation. Now I can no longer login. There is absolutely ZERO customer service. I tried to go to "support" but all it does is send me to a worthless FAQ or to blogs that have nothing to do with logging in when the client no longer works. I have purchased multiple games on Steam and no longer have access. There is no customer service to resolve this **************************** either needs to give me full access to my account or they need to refund me for all game purchases on the steam client that they are denying me access to.Initial Complaint

So I added a gift card to my account and purchased a game with this leaving roughly 15 on my account from the gift card.I recently noticed that my PC was compromised and several of my accounts were hijacked - I quickly recovered most of my accounts and secured my PC before the issue arose further however, with my account with valve (specifically their Steam client application) I was too late as I received several emails (roughly 7 on 30/09) stating I made purchases on their community market which I know I didn't do, and that the email confirmations were in Russian (or so it looks)...After that I immediately raised a support ticket with steam(valve) to try and see if I can figure this issue out because money was taken from my Steam account. Steam Asked for more information about the purchases which I provided and confirmed with them along with proof that the emails were in Russian which I don't speak nor do I read as my Steam account is all in English.Steam could clearly see that on my account my profile name was changed and emails sent out were in Russian and several totally random and unrelated item purchases which do not link to any game I bought on my account prior to these purchases but despite all of this Steam stated to double check my PC to ensure it is clear (which I did prior to contacting them) and to use the added security option they have (which I was unaware until they mentioned this to me) also that they can't refund community purchases basically telling me they can't help **** responded to them stating that's not acceptable and that the extra security option should be more visible in future if not updated already, they responded basically repeating themselves and I went back and asked for a complaint to be raised but alas they ignored this and repeated themselves again and rudely stated they will close the ticket to which I requested a complaint to raised or I would raise externally and thus I am here raising this with yourselvesInitial Complaint

I purchased ********* Flight Simulator Steam edition on July 7th 2022. The game was glitchy and unplayable. I requested on a refund on July 7th 2022, but it was denied on July 9th 2022 because game play time exceeded two hours. I exceeded the game play time because I was trying to resolve/trouble shoot the glitches but i was unable. Steam is still refusing my refund.Initial Complaint

Opened support ticket HT-7NT9-****-HG39 regarding purchase of defective steamdeck device. Have run all diagnostics. All results the same, left hand controls do not respond. Inquired multiple times about rma to replace the new but defective unit.. Get no response, two weeks into this mess and no resolve. I called left a msg, they opened a ticket doing me a favor and closed it as a duplicate. Getting no where I will be forced to charge back with CC company. Terrible device, terrible support, terrible customer experience. I want this replaced or refunded entirely.Initial Complaint

I bought a Steam card that is used in devices for games etc. I bought this as a gift for my friend. I bought it from Amazon.com on-line. The company is Valve in ******** ********** which has a web site https://store.steampowered.com/. They sell cards with codes to use to get their programs. When I bought this, I payed a total of $128. to Amazon where I bought it. I bought it as a gift for a friend and when the card came, the code was already used, and my friend was told this code has already been redeemed. I did not use it because I don't have a device to use it with, but my friend does. When she tried to use the code, it said this code has already been redeemed. I contacted their Steam support and was told that the code was already redeemed and I would not be given a new one. Their customer support is almost non-existent. I kept telling them my fried got a code that was already used, and they will not give me another one. I was given a product that was already used, and they got $128 of my money, and I did not get the product. This is just like stealing. I asked for a new code and was told no, I already have one. This company I think is doing this a lot and needs to be investigated. There are many other complaints I have seen from other customers of various problems with this company. They stole $128 and refuse to give me a refund because I bought it from Amazon, which does not offer any refunds. They claim the code was used at Amazon which is impossible because there is a plastic strip glued over the code number, and it was on the card when I got it. So I want to file a complaint for a company that stole my money, and would not deliver a new code because they said the code I was given was already used before I got it, so they are blaming Amazon.Initial Complaint

I bought a Steamdeck (#*******************) from steampowered.com which is a game platform of Valve cooperation. The tracking showed it was been delivered to my address but I found nothing in front of my door. I asked the customer service of the ********************** platform but they only consist the device was been activated on my location so they determined it was me or my family members. But they ignored there are hundreds of people living in the same apartment same location. They refuse any further help with my lost package.Initial Complaint
