On oct 16th I purchased IRacing on Steam, I accidentally bought this trying to buy a different game. I Immediately sent a refund request, and they declined it. I have sent 8 refund requests from oct 19th to oct 24th. They have all been denied for the reason being I purchased the game longer than 2 weeks ago. I have no time spent on the game, and I purchased it less than a week before the declined me a refund saying it's been longer than 2 weeks. Explain how that can be fair. I would appreciate it if you could get me a refund on the game that they wrongly declined me for absolutely no reason. It got more consistent when I told them I was going to file a complaint with the Better Business *****. I feel discriminated by a company that I can't file a complaint with because they don't have a number or email to contact them. They only have an online chat function that takes three days to get a response from a bot.Initial Complaint

I purchased the game "Hotel Giant 2" through Wild Tangent which went to Steam I got an account with Steam and was playing this game. I purchased a new laptop and tried to log-in and Steam and Wildtangent is not responding to my request to re-install my game. I have sent several requests to open a case one was opened and closed and the last one I haven't heard nothing. I paid for this game and not they are not honoring it. I bought a game that was purported to be free to play. That was the only reason I bought it. It now has a subscription. I asked for a refund. I thought I had a valid reason but they did not give me a refund. I'm fair certain they did not even read the reason I asked for one. They say there are exceptions. I have a 12 year old steam account with over 500 games. PC gaming is my passion. Yesterday I was logged out of my authenticator after Valve gave the app a massive overhaul. This would be fine if the password recovery worked. It didn't. It gave an automated response telling me it needs extra credentials but gave no opportunity to input them. It just tells you to go through support. It is now giving me a "exceeded number of login attempts" which has been going on for well over 10 hours. There is only the option to submit tickets, but only if you can log in. The problem here is that I can't log in. There are no agents to chat with about anything. I am locked out of my own account. I purchased 'Wolfenstein: **********' Deluxe Edition expecting to be able to play the co-op version with my friend. We recently got around to it, only to find that my friend was unable to get on the co-op feature due to a software error that caused the Co-Op function to not work for a player who did not have the full game downloaded. The co-op player does not need to have the full game, as per the game details. Unfortunately, I had to re-purchase the entire game for her so that we could play. I do not believe it is fair that I was charged twice for something I should have only had to purchase once. My friend requested a refund, but it was declined twice by their automated system. Bought an index headset on Aug 16,2022 for ******* through steam started having issues not only with the controller but with the headset. The headset went out on Sept 24 2022. Contact Steam we correspond back and forth via chat they proceeded sending me a base cord which only hooks up to the wall and I contact to let them know that this did not fix the problem. They then stop communicating with me and I just have just an open case that no one is responding to for the warranty exchange at this point it is a breach of contract. This is disappointing but I know this is the nature of business and we as consumers have to pay the price.Initial Complaint

I Pre Purchased a game (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2) from the Steam Store and proceeded to play the beta (which is separate from the game I purchased due to the beta being free. Unbeknownst to me I was banned a few days later from the Beta due to having a ban in place from one of their separate Call of Duty games. So since I was ONLY banned from the beta I requested a refund on the pre order. According to Steams refund policy my refund should've been honored due to the fact I was not banned from the game I bought only the separate free BETA. And regardless if I was banned from the main game it was not a VAC (Valve Anti Cheat) ban, the refund policy states they will not refund a game if it was VAC banned but it was a game maker ban which it specifically says they are not the same on their website, and the refund policy says nothing about game maker bans.
