    Support does not even read tickets, completely unwilling to help in any way and just closes ticket. Steam used to be good but is no longer. Fortunately games are starting to go on other stores now.

    Steam has gone down hill. I wish I did not have to come on here and to file a ***ort but their service has gone from bad to worse. This week on Sunday, somehow some hacker managed to get through two layers of security on my account to purchase some items from **** 2 on marketplace. When I was notified of this I immediatly contacted their customer service regarding the issue. Instead of fixing it or sending me a refund, Steam service decided to blame it on ********* and maleware saying thats why. My computer is secure, no issues there and virus scan clean. The ***resentative continued to tell me there was nothing they can do about refunds and is a common problem!! Well if this is a common problem why they do not fix this issue? Anyways the *** told me to complain to ********* and closed my case immediatly without a resolve. This is the first time out of 15 years of using Steam that this happened. I have been a loyal customer for so long. I realized now they do not care about their customers and rather blame others instead of taking accountability. I am shocked about Steam and will not buy another game from them again. I will just use my current library and that is it.

    I bought a game off steam. They told me to contact call of duty support before issuing me a refund. It took call of duty support more than 2 weeks to fully troubleshoot the game and by that time I was unable to get a refund. They stole over $100 from me by taking my money without giving me the service promised

    I own over 200 games and 300 dlc's on Steam platform. Over the years many games that I have paid for have become unavailable, unplayable, never finished. I have encountered quite a few publishers/developers that promised thew world and delivered nothing, only taking my money on the premise that they would deliver what was told to me. I have been on steam since 2010, never have they ever sided with me on a dispute. Steam has zero accountability and has no one to hold them accountable. They can do whatever they want as gamers are desperate to have a platform and community for gaming and it is the only one available. Just recently a new user agreement came out that basically said "you no longer own any games on steam" "steam games can be removed at any time for any reason without warning" "don't like it? leave". Knowing people like me who have $10k or more invested in games on this platform have zero choice.

    I purchased both Resident Evil 7 and the Resident Evil 4 Remake with high expectations, but my experience has been nothing short of frustrating. From the very beginning, I encountered severe technical issuescrashes, bugs, and freezesthat rendered the games virtually unplayable. Despite multiple attempts to troubleshoot and resolve these problems, I couldnt actually enjoy any meaningful *********** make matters worse, despite explaining my situation to Steam Support, my refund requests were repeatedly denied because my playtime exceeded the 2-hour limit. However, the majority of that time was spent trying to get the games to work, not playing ******* extremely disappointed by both the games performance and the lack of support from Steam. Its unacceptable that customers are left with unplayable products and no recourse for a refund. I hope this review serves as a caution to others considering these titles and as a reminder to Steam to prioritize customer satisfaction and support.

    Bought a game in May 2024. Got it while it was on sale, but didn't install the game until mid July. I tried launching it then, but it failed to launch. I searched for some workarounds, none of them worked. The game still failed to launch. I have 1 minute of playtime for this game on my account. I then requested a refund. Valve rejected the refund since it was purchased over 2 weeks ago. What a terrible policy.Buyer beware - install and test your games immediately after purchase, or you may be stuck with the bill and nothing to show for it.

    I'm sick of this platform , everytime I add money to my wallet account they withhold it from me and I'm unable to spend it. They dont even respond when you have issues or it takes them days to respond and its prolly some fat s*** who smells like a** n cheetos and doesn't get laid. Their marketplace will withhold you from purchasing something as well until they " verify " who you are. These guys need to be boycotted and dismantled for stealing from their community. So many people have complaints about this company and its like WHEN are they going to be held reliable?

    they are hacked i bought games during the summer sale for vacation on the trip and all were refunded by a hacker to try and use the gifted credit to gift themselves games and steam never questioned it even though the messages were cut and dry all in Chinese along with the ip address and now i lost the games i purchased and steam refuses to give the games back

    They are hacked - People are openly stealing steam tokens on their server, applying them to low purchase costs - and then having players tokens stolen for pennies.Complaining about said act, they claimed my password was stolen, it was not, and I can prove that. For the act to sell these products demands an agreement term through email, of which was never applied. I saw others on the forums of which also had their funds stolen by the hackers. They ignored my request to review it, and allow the hacking to continue to take place.You buy a game that comes with tokens, or get tokens during play chances are 100% they will be stolen in this process. Either they are ignorant of the fact that they are hacked, or do not care.While I only had about 6 tokens stolen, others had dozens perhaps hundreds.All I got was they do not do refunds, or replacements. It is their fault they are stolen, this does not apply to their clause.

    I bought call of duty game and played almost whole month. It says on my game is under maintance since yesterday and it still says its under maintance today. My subscrition is up in july 1 i cant play the game. I message customer service and they said ***** has nothing to do with game not working if these guys dont fix the problem i would like a refund for the game and my subscription
