    I have purchased two dysfunctional Rockstar games, GTA V and Red Dead Redemption II. Although I have 0 playtime in the latter as neither will launch to to activation problems, Steam refuses to refund my purchases as they are outside the 2 week purchase window.This is a business that can sell you a faulty product and believes it is appropriate to keep your money if it is broken. I can't think of another industry where this practice is acceptable.

    Absolutely the worst company ever there is no support they will let your account be hacked because apparently they've created a system of trading cards based on your purchases that are hackable and everybody in ***** whether or not really allowed to play video games wants them they allow them to skirt past the two-step authentication and the Steam app and log into your account and do whatever they want and that's kind of how they roll and when you contact them to try to get your account back they'll laugh in your face with bot type responses because in reality no one works at steam it's just a bunch of AI bots in *****

    Worst company ever I ordered the steam deck 64 gig and then asked for a refund because I wanted to buy the 256 gig I got my refund rather quickly .. I immediately order the 256 gig and the next day that also gets refunded and cancelled .. Ive emailed them no response . Ive made another account and I still cant purchase the item .. my accounts get locked Ive called my bank its not my card its valve they just lost a customer and potentially more because I had console players coming over to these guys .. no more this is the worst customer service ever no one to call .. avoid valve and avoid the steam deck and everything associated with this company and there products

    I purchased the Titanquest game. Could not play it, not even once! I contacted the company through emails, they don't have a phone number to call. They told me their policy was no refunds after 2 weeks. I explained that I couldn't play the game, they said it doesn't matter! Will NEVER buy anything from them again! EXTREMELY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! Don't buy anything from them, the company is bad!

    I downloaded Screenbits from the Steamworks website. Steamworks is a subsidiary of Valve, **** This was to reinstall the software after being told to do so by Screenbits. I used it for seven seconds and requested a refund from Steamworks. They refused, saying I used it for 19 hours and 37 minutes. They have provided no documentation accounting for the discrepancy between what I calculated and what they allege.

    Left steam a long time ago for shady business practices and double charging , never couple get refunded , about 8 months ago i returned to steam to make playing Swtor more bearable , then a family member started playing Outward , so i got the wife and i copies spent about 100 dollars , anyhow we get into this game and first off you cant play x box and a pc and join a game together , this being the whole reason the game was purchased in the first place , should have asked for a refund , but the game was cool so i was about to finish the first quest in venderhal or what ever its called and all the bosses were gone ... so i went to my first city and it was burning , with no way to reclaim it ... at this point im done , not gonna redo all that work after being cheated and defrauded , i asked for a refund and again like last time they refused , too bad for them im contacting my credit card company and disputing the charges , i will not be defrauded and cheated , and i will do everything in my power to warn others again of steams shady business practices and ethics issues ... one way or ather this company will pay !

    First they push back my reservation on Steamingdeck six months. Then they changed the hardware and tried to hide it from everyone. Then they decided randomly 2 months early that I had 48 hours to complete my purchase or lose my reservation. Then they tell me they can't move my reservation? Really? You did twice already. Valve is not the company it was when it was founded. I cancelled my reservation for their off brand switch and I won't spend another dime with this company. They don't even produce any real games anymore. They just make money off of everyone else's hard work with an unnecessary store to funnel all traffic through.

    Valve perhaps has the worst customer service, for the MOST thriving game platform ever. My recent experience:I received notice my Steam Desk was shipped. I checked my ***** account and noticed it was set to deliver to my house, ignoring my default "ship to a trusted dropoff location". Packages are often stolen where I live, so I have them shipped to a trusted location. I reached out to *****; they advised to reach out to the shipper to "unlock" the shipment. Valve for some reason restricted the shipment delivery. I created a ticket with Steam Support. I explained the situation and asked for someone to unlock the shipment. The first person said verbatim, "Hi there, Thanks for bringing this to our attention. No worries, we're happy to check on this matter.Unfortunately, Steam Support don't handle the logistics but we can send and address change request. Please be advised that it is not guaranteed and will fall under the courier's discretion."I explained that of course I understood that, and asked to be put in contact with someone from Valve who "handles logistics". A day later, I received another response from a different person, who said, " ***** handle the logistic for your package. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate your request. If you do not have other address, we suggest you wait for the package arrived."I asked the rep to reread my previous message. After 2 days, prompted by MY followup, I got another response from again a different person, whose response I'd share if I had the character space. I received a confirmation that they'd reach out to ***** on my behalf, but "it's up to *****'s discretion". My Steam Deck arrived, and I got LUCKY because I closely monitored the tracking information and picked it up near instantly. Leaving this review because of the abysmal support I received, and how they literally waited until I received my Steam Deck so that I no longer needed resolution. Pathetic.

    I'd give a 0 star rating if I could.. I e been a DotA 2 player since the beta back in 2012 and never had a problem till last week. My account was hacked (even though I have their 2 factor authentication and all other security measures action e). The culprit illegally traded over 40 items (even though I was only ever able to trade ***** per day) and have done nothing to help. they just keep closing the service ticket saying it's resolved. So bad.

    Controllers have known manufacturing defects and Steam on their first controller RMA for me is refusing to provide an advanced RMA. Even though I am offering to provide video footage of the controller flaws, they refuse to accept it and want to "investigate" themselves. So they've accepted the fact that they will provide a return for their controllers, only I have to go an unknown time for them to take my controllers back and "inspect" them for flaws I'm offering to show via video.Thank you *** for an awful customer service experience
