    I buy video games to play online and after I own a game, they make you sign **** agreements to play the video game. I already paid for the game and have been playing the game. They don't care about the consumers at all. If I paid for the game and I can't play the game anymore because you are forcing an agreement on me that I don't want, how is that not theft? I shouldn't have to sign my soul away just to play a dumb video game. Its abuse and there is nowhere that you can reach anyone on their website. The portal doesn't work because its setup to firewall their staff from ever having to interact with an actual customer. The whole system is BS.

    Nit a happy customer they lost my dlc game I purchased then after I paid fir it 4 years later they refused to refund saying I played **** then 5 hrs inside 5 day refund period. My whole point was I already own it that's why I want refund they threaten yo lock account if you disagree with them . Terrible corporation worse customer service

    Customer support is quite awful at getting you refunds in a clear cut case with evidence. Steam Guard has no options to really secure your items/wallet funds which is stupid to me that you're better off removing it and keeping authentication to your email which actually restricts trades for 7 days.

    Similar to many other complaints on the BBB.org platform I can attest to the following:Service, customer service, billing, and refund issues. I am alleging that I purchased a game, however it would not run properly.When requesting a refund due to the game not running properly, I was denied a refund based on the companys policy of the game showing that it was played over two hours. Consumers allege they did not play the game for two hours and its logging the time it took for the game to load, not playing time.I was threatened to have my account banned after a chargeback request. I have been provided canned responses to my messages.I only received any assistance to get my money back after doing achargeback. When receiving a response from the company concerning the issues, I was given general responses or the company was unresponsive altogether.

    Steam, or rather Valve, continuously censors the community at large to protect companies interests. This direct censorship, such as removing reviews, that they use prejudice and discriminatory anti-consumer tactics to protect large companies at large is completely unacceptable. Hiding reviews is unacceptable and an extremely slippery slope.

    If you think steam is terrible then what ever your thinking steam is way better then it is.I have seen countless times rules been broken and nothing done even content that has been reported by both me and other users.And I have seen people(including myself) punished without breaking rules then when a user then submits a ticket about said abuse the ticket is simply closed and ignored despite containing proof. I have seen more times then I have ever been able to count tickets from users that have been completely ignored and those are the lucky users many users have been threatened by steam support(though I personally have been luckily enough not to be threatened by steam support).Calling valve the worst company would to much praise so I will say instead that they are so much worse then any company that they are below any level or measurement. A 0 rating would be too high so I give valve a negative 6 rating.

    Steam is a horrible company that doesn't know how to treat it's customers. Earlier I asked them to either lock a thread I created or delete it because I was being horribly bullied there and it wasn't going to stop until either the thread was gone or locked so no more replies could be made. Yet, they had rather victim blame, then do anything to solve the problem. They had rather turn a blind eye to all the bullying and harassment then lift a finger to help someone that might be horribly suffering from...assault then try to be understanding and help. Then when the victim tries to help themselves they get in trouble for doing so.
