    Hired company in 8/2022.To do a fence and build a deck.Fence was completed in 5/2023.The deck however was not completed or started. Contract 8/2022. Pd in full. Called over 12 times. Many promises with no show.Started email in 12/2023. Asking to refund my money since they didn't start, with more empty promises. It's been over a month and no money returned. Now won't answer email.

    On 6/8/23 I put down a deposit to have a 6' black privacy fence with a 4' black alternating (has the spikes) fence installed, I was told my fence would be installed the end of July beginning of Aug. On July 31 I sent an email inquiring if this was still scheduled for the original time frame. **** responded stating I was on the board for end of Aug. 8/29 I send another email. 9/1 email and voice message. Responded to remind him on Tues. 9/5 sent ************** told end of Sept. This date also comes & goes. I'm given dates for Oct. I was told then that the wrong material had been sent. I asked to see what was ordered and when it was ordered (I never received this information). I was then offered a white 6' privacy fence with a 4' black aluminum fence. I did not accept this offer. I am then told in Nov. he can do this in Dec & would this be acceptable. I agreed to Dec. but with concerns on temperatures. On 11/21 I also expressed concerns that he would remove the existing fence & then not put up the new fence in a reasonable time frame (I have 3 dogs). No response as of 1/14/24 & no fence. **** has not honored his own contract to commence and complete in a reasonable time frame. The original time frame was 7/23 - 8/23. I offered an olive branch when I agreed to 12/23. We are now 6 weeks past that date. I no longer trust his word to do the job when he says he will do it. At this time the only agreeable solution I will accept is 100% refund - $1,963.59.

    I purchased a fence from Rock County Fence on July 10, 2023. The amount I paid for the treated wood fence is ******** I was told at that time that the installation of the fence would be in September. Rock County Fence did not show up till November 7, 2023 to install the post to the fence and they only installed half of the posts. They have not been back since to complete the job. I have emailed, called and left messages through their business ******** account. My son ***************************** has stopped at Rock County Fence multiple time over the last 2 months. He has spoken to two different people and they have always stated the fence will be installed tomorrow. I have received emails and ******** messages from ******************* stating that they will install the fence but they never show up.

    On May 25,2023 I signed a contract to have a 14 x14 foot deck to to built by Rock County Fence and Deck. The owner ******************* also signed the contract. I put down 60 percent of cost at that time. The deck's total cost was to be $11,424 and I paid $6854 on that date. I was told that the deck would be build July/August. I called the above company July 12th to see what date the deck would be built. He told me August. I called again the first week of September as I had not heard from ****. He told "for sure in September" , I repeated this a couple of times that he would for sure build it in September and he reassured me it would be. I left a message beginning of October that was not returned. I called again the week of October 9th and he did return my call. He stated that it would be the end of that week or the beginning of the next. I called again the 20th and left a message as nothing was happening with the building of the deck. I left a message with his secretary on the 25th and she said he was out of town but would give the message to *****, an employee. I stopped at the business on the 28th and was told again that **** was out of town but message would be passed on. It is now November 6th and I have no deck. I know that I also left a couple of messages in this time too that were not returned. I just want my deposit returned so I can get another contractor for spring to build a deck I am frustrated by the lack of communication from ****. Also being put off by him. Is there anything else I can do to resolve this? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you

    Privacy fence Installed be Rock Cty has warped and needs repair. Customer Rep surveyed problem and submitted to owner. Owner does not answer phone nor return any calls. We have left at minimum, 8 messages.

    I received a quote late summer 2022. I paid IN FULL on 8/11/23. We were originally were told our fence would be installed late October or November (weather permitting). The weather got to cold and were told our fence would be installed spring 2023. We were completely fine with that. Spring came. We didn't hear from Rock County Fence and Deck. My husband called and were told that once we see *************** come out it will be done within a couple weeks. *************** came out but weeks went by and no action on our fence. It is now 6/6/23 and we still do not have our fence installed. We are unable to open our pool because we do not have a legal fence. On 6/1/23, I expressed this to **** (installer/owner) and he offered to come out and put up a temporary fence. I declined as I want my permanent fence installed that I paid for almost a year ago. He stated he would return my call on 6/2/23. I did not receive a call back on the date he provided. I called 6/5/23 and the office staff stated **** was not in the office at the time but would return my call. He did not. I called again today, 6/6/23. The office staff stated he was in the office and placed me on hold. When the office staff came back on the line, I was told that my posts would be installed next week. She stated she didn't have a specific date, but next week. I understand that posts are a start, but I'm frustrated that it will be weeks more before my fence panels will be installed. All I've wanted was my fence to be installed in a timely manner. Over booking jobs is disrespectful to clients and leads to frustration on all parts.

    Follow up on complaint ID ******** Rock ******************************************* office staff called me on 6/23/23 and told me that my fence would be installed in 2 weeks. On July 7th I called to check status as no action had been started on my fence. I left a voicemail and never got a returned call. Today, I called the office and the office staff gave me ****'s cell phone number *************) and told me to reach out to **** as they didn't know the install dates. I called ****'s cell; it went straight to voicemail so I left a message. I received a text that simply said "Please text me". I sent a text asking him to follow up with me on an installation date. At this time I have not gotten a response. It has now been over 11 months since they have been paid in full for a job that has not even started.

    I think I'm finally ready to close the complaint. It took a few weeks to get missing post caps and such installed. At this point there isn't anything else holding the project up.

    In 2019 we had an enclosed deck put on the back of our house. Since then we have had problems of bugs getting in. If we wanted bugs in our porch we would have never spent the money to have it screened in. We cant sit out there with out having wasps, bees and other bugs in there. I cant even have our cat out there because Im afraid he would get stung. I have called and called and I just get we will be there to take a look at it. No one ever shows up! We just want to enjoy our screened in deck

    We have been back to this customers home multiple times for repair so to say that we havent attempted to fix the issue at hand is untrue.Customer will not let us do any repairs unless she is present which has made it difficult due to her and our schedules. We are currently working on this repair and will update you when the repair is complete.
