This company stated that they were going to give my real estate firm advertising in their magazine, which they were publishing in the ********, ** area. They stated that I would have exclusive exposure by being the only real estate company advertised in the magazine. I didn't get any advertisements at all, as the magazine has yet to go to print in the area, yet I have been charged $127.50 since December 2024 (when I was told payment wouldn't begin to be debited from my account until Jan 2025). I cancelled the service last month, and they are still debiting my account for payment for service they are not giving me. They state on the invoices they are billing me for online presence, which I already had YEARS before I came into contact with them and my online traffic has not increased one iota! I want to be refunded and I want them to stop charging me, they are in breach of their contract.

About a year ago I was contacted by a local magazine company. They apparently find local businesses to pay a monthly subscription and then send local members of the community these magazines. As a new business owner, I thought I could hear these people out over coffee at *********. I met ***** there after speaking to his wife *****. He showed me everything, how it works, and it seemed interesting. He told me there were different terms, different pricing, and two magazines to choose from unless I wanted to be in both. He took his time showing me all the "fun" stuff and then rushed me through the contract process due to the fact I only had so much time that I could be there and away from my new business. I signed up for 36 months at $291 per month. For the last 12 months, I haven't received a single lead from their magazine. I wanted to wait and give them the benefit of the doubt, but after a year and about $3,500 wasted I decided to have my secretary call and cancel. Apparently it's not something you can cancel? There's not even an early termination fee. When my secretary was asking simple questions about canceling, the person she was talking to started making snarky re****s about me and some unwarranted comments. Saying that I'm hard to get ahold of and that's why I'm not getting business. Well, there was a short period of time that my business took off and I couldn't keep up. Which is why I hired my secretary! No thanks to this company. I would have kept paying the last two years of the contract, but after hearing he made re****s about me, I'd rather them to take it to court and send me to collections. I'd rather have a **** on my credit report than give these people another dime of my hard earned money. These people should be ashamed of themselves and I don't understand how it is legal to scam people out of money for so long and not let them cancel. I didn't try to cancel after a month, or two, or three. I waited a year. ***** on this company. Avoid at all costs.

I was coreced into singing a contract for advertisement. I was promised 1. The owners WOULD use our services on a regular basis ( said this to get free products from me to begin with) 2. Promised I WOULD receive a copy of all advertisement- received nothing, so i am not even sure if I was advertised per contract. 3. Promised to bring in clients. We got ZERO. THREATENED ME TO PAY THEM! I have messages from the owner to back this! 4. They (best version media) sent us to collections for $28,000 even though they VIOLATED the contract and agreement!

I would like to end the contract that I have currently with Best Version Media. I am locked in with them for 36 months for the price of $200.00 on 2 contracts, so a total $400/month. They have said they are going to send magazines to a specific area in ************. As well as ******/******** advertising. I have not seen any business related to this advertising and would like out of this contract, so I can directly invest this money into functional advertising. My business is struggling and the marketing money being wasted on this ineffective advertising could be put to better use. I have employees that live in the area where this magazine is distributed & receive the publication and have never opened it, it goes straight to the bin. I would like to get out of the contract and not deal with them ever again. They have declined may attempts at this.

We do not guarantee a specific return on investment from our advertising solutions. Additionally, all terms of agreements are available in writing before signing. Our team has offered a reasonable solution that would terminate our client's agreement, and we hope to resolve this in the near future.

After 1 year of advertising with Best Version Media, I put a request in to cancel my services with them going into the second year. I got zero leads and found it really off that I didnt get any phone calls dispute having a good size ad in their magazine. It cost a lot of money that brought no returns. So I wanted to cancel. They will not let me cancel and keep threatening me with harassing phone calls. I simply wanted to cancel. Im sure they could find another business to take my place in the magazine. They are a terrible company to deal with and treat us small business owners very badly.

I was contacted by Best Version Media regarding an advertising opportunity for my business. At that time, I was coping with the loss of my father, which significantly impacted my ability to focus on business decisions. During a two-hour phone call, I felt pressured into committing to what I now view as a poor choice. Despite expressing my lack of interest at leaset 6 times, I was assured verbally by the representative that I could cancel after six months. The representative indicated, regardless of the contract terms, she would act as my local representative and would have the discretion to support my needs as necessary. I was told that after six months of good payment, I could request to cancel the contract. After 32 years in business, I have never encountered such a situation. After the six-month period, when I sought to cancel the contract, I was informed that I was legally bound by its terms. While I understand the implications of contracts as a business owner, despite my awareness of legal obligations, I also know that contracts can be mutually terminated under circumstances. I've discovered that many others have shared similar experiences with this company.I have attempted to escalate my concerns to the corporate team, but despite assurances from the representative that my emails would be forwarded,. Several months have passed, and I have not seen any return on investment from this advertising initiative, I was told that cancellation would be straightforward after the initial term, and I was misled. The financial burden of this contract is threatening the viability of my business. During the summer months, we struggle to stay afloat, and halting this payment is critical for our survival. The length of this advertising contract is unprecedented in my experience, and I would advise others to be cautious if approached by this company. In my 32 years of business, I have faced numerous challenges, but this situation stands out as particularly troubling.

All terms of agreements are available in writing before signing, and also delivered via email immediately after signing. Our branding solutions do not guarantee a specific return, as they are not direct response advertising tools. We are still working with our client to resolve this matter and hope to reach a solution soon.

Im writing to request changes to my contract with BVM . Ive been paying $444 per month for services that include magazine listings, online listings, and ********. Unfortunately, Ive seen no return on investment from the online listings or Meta Ads, and it has become difficult to continue with the payments due to financial hardship.Currently, Im paying over 1000$ for my brothers medical bills and also covering my college expenses that are over 500$ Ive been dealing with a significant amount of stress and depression due to these financial burdens and the toll its taken on my personal life. I can provide proof of both my brothers ongoing hospital bills and my enrollment in college to show the strain Im under. With these obligations, I simply cannot afford the full $444 expense. If terminating the entire contract isnt possible, I would like to request that at least the Meta Ads and online listings be removed to reduce my monthly cost

I was contacted by Best Version Media for local advertising and when telling them I was interested I was sent a form to sign in order to proceed. In that form was a section for my personal information and then a section for my credit card information and a area to sign. In that form there was no information about the price of the ad or a length of the ad term nor was it discussed over the phone before signing. I was told the signing of that form will let me proceed to the next step. Well after signing that form they turned around and copied my signature and put it on a final agreement which then showed the price and how long the ad agreement was for. I never signed a true final ad agreement where both parties understood each other and came to final agreement. Again the first form that had zero information regarding price, length, etc. that I had signed was then falsely created into a final agreement

When I began my contract with Best Version Media, I requested a one-month delay in starting due to serious medical issues that had me hospitalized for three weeks. In response, they sent me a contract amendment, but I was only given less than 24 hours to review and sign it before the deadline. Despite the circumstances and short notice, they proceeded to charge my card but did not print my ad that month.I gave them the benefit of the doubt and moved forward in good faith. As part of our agreement, I also contributed original articles for the magazine in my role as an "expert contributor." Unfortunately, one of those articles was published with a mismatched title and body, combining the content of one article with the title of another. Specifically, an article I wrote about the importance of travel insurance was published under the unrelated title New Years Travel Resolutions for Every Type of Traveler. This kind of editorial mistake directly undermines my professional credibility I am paying for this service to be positioned as an expert in my field. Errors like this harm the very reputation I hired them to help promote. I am formally requesting that my contract with Best Version Media be terminated immediately without penalty due to the mishandling of services, failure to deliver on key aspects of the agreement, and the reputational harm caused by editorial errors.

      Business Response

We aim to offer an excellent experience for our advertisers. Understandably, it was a short turnaround time for our client to review the contract amendment. Our team made an effort to remind our client, but we addressed the situation by offering two additional pages at no cost. In regards to the article error, we have marked the upcoming May and June editions as complimentary to resolve this matter. We look forward to continue working alongside our client to brand their business moving ahead.

Thank you for your response. While I appreciate the explanation provided, giving someonewho was in the hospital with their entire familyless than 24 hours to review and sign an amendment is, in my view, unacceptable.
Due to this experience, I no longer feel comfortable working with your company and do not accept the offer presented. The only resolution I will accept is a full dissolution of our contract.
