I give 3 stars due to the writer/editor, you lost two stars because of the photographer. The photographer didn't send me copies of the pictures she has taken so I can review and approve them. The photographer sent you what she thought was good, without my approval. She sent 6 images to me on the last day of the month ( on the 31st of July) when the magazine was already printed. I reviewed them and from all 6 one was good, 3 ok and 2 bad. I hope that you will find another photographer in the future. I have taught art and photography for over 20 years, I can see mistakes easily in any image. and as an artist, I do not accept them. A website and a business logo do not make you who you are, it is just a public blindfold. I didn't see the magazine, I do not have a copy, but I know that I approved the written text and is perfect. The writer deserves a bonus.Best Version Media, LLC

Our standard process is to allow our features to approve the photography before the magazine goes to print. All features should also receive a magazine copy to remember this special moment. My August **** ****** Feature turned out way better than expected. Me and my family loved it, and are very grateful for it. Pat and Meeka were amazing in putting it all together, and Lyndsey with photography was great as well. Appreciate the opportunity to share my story of recovery with my new friends and neighbors here in Port Orange, and some of the challenges I've faced, and have overcome as well. I also appreciate the opportunity to share my Charity Spotlight for Encephalitis, and continue my goal of raising awareness for this disease, and for raising funds for a cure as well. Thanks again for the opportunity to be features in this months Port Orange neighbors magazine, and for the hard work that went into putting it together.Best Version Media, LLC

As the main feature of Neighbors of **********, I had the most wonderful experience from start to finish. The interview process which took place with Punam was written up so well and with great accuracy. The photo shoot with Olga was professional and effortless. The results were natural and true to who I am. I never expected to receive the amount of congratulatory wishes from so many. It is an experience that I will not forget!Best Version Media, LLC

Our Family was featured in the magazine a few months ago. The process leading up to the magazine being printed was great. The publisher and our family worked together gathering information for our familys featured article. Also, scheduling for the cover and inside pictures were all very convenient. Although, there was a disappointment in a particular area. As a family featured on the magazine we never received a copy of the magazine from the publishing company. I thought as the featured family we would have received a complementary copy from the publishing company as a thank you unfortunately, that was not the case. Also, we were told by the photographer we would receive a complementary family photo of the cover and we still have not received that photo. My feedback, from this experience would be to provide those families that took the time and coordination to help the publishing company put together a magazine for that month a complementary copy of the magazine. Also, follow through with the photographers promise of providing the family with a complementary family photo. Overall our family enjoyed this experience and is very grateful for the opportunity to be featured on the magazine.Best Version Media, LLC

We're glad you had a positive experience being featured! Our local teams typically provide a copy for our featured residents, so we apologize that you did not receive one. We will look into this situation further to see if we can still provide an additional copy of that edition.
