Location - ***************************************************************** I purchased an electric lawn mower. The battery was defective. I went to the store and got a new batter, which was also defective. I returned the electric mower and purchased a gas mower. This device was also defective. I wanted to return the mower but since gas had been put in it, I had to take it to the service center. They attempted to perform a repair and that was unsuccessful too.Business Response

i ordered some build*** materials online to be delivered to my house. I realized I had made a mistake on the order. The order was not expected to ship for another week. I called the store that I ordered from to correct the mistake. Instead of a 4x4 sheet I wanted to order a 4x8 sheet. I talked to someone for 30 minutes on 6/18/2025 and they still could not make the correction. I asked to speak to another person and they could not help either. Later that day I went to the store I ordered them from and went to the return and exchanges desk. The girl at the counter told me to go to the build*** materials to make the change. I did go to the build*** materials and then they told me to go back to the exchange and returns. I explained that I was told to come back here for help. The lady that was help*** me was a manager and said I had to go back to the line up front. I asked for a store manager as I felt I was just be*** bounced around the store and this is after I could not be helped on the phone. The lady manager told me that he was just go*** to tell me the same th*** and told me to go to the front. I asked for a store manager. I had ***** ******* come out to help. The lady manager told ***** that " I just didn't like Menards policies" as the issue. I felt this was rather rude and the manager kept talk *** about me to another employee while I was work*** with *****. After complet*** my transaction I asked for help with the level of service that I received. ***** asked if I knew I talked to. I went to give him the information and he did not write down. I called back on Saturday for help with my order and had to get ***** to help. I then asked to speak to a store manager and he lied and said he was. I then spoke to *** Buntrager about my concerns. He just said sorry and would help correct the problem. I sent a complaint to the corporate headquarters explain*** the issues and the just sent back to ***. The response from Menards is just a blanket statement without any concern how I was treated. I couldn't get help on the phone, or in the store without a manager.When speaking to managers they would not address my concerns or take names of the people I worked with. This is not leading or coaching in any manner.
Menards needs to do better than "sorry, we will try harder next time."

purchased ********** propelled mower May ******* from Menards in ****** , *****3rd use smoked and broke. Called Menards. Said can't return, get serviced. Service ** they gave me doesn't do their work. After many calls, called a 2nd service ** wants $50 and will take 6 weeks to look at. Menards said it then takes 6 weeks to get approval to fix or exchange. Therefore, it will take 12 weeks to fix! if they can fix it. Summer is over grass will be too tall to mow. The self propeller part does not work and I am68 years old and I have tried to push the mower and the bagger does not fit **rrectly and blows grass in my face, and I cannot push the mower as is. The people I talk to at Menards in *********** were a *****, and a *******, and a ****. ***** and **** were nasty and hung up on me!!! ******* was helpful and sympathetic.I called ******* service in Chardon and talked to a ***** and a *** and both said they did not service Menards mowers. I also calleda place in *********. They're the ones who told me it would take six weeks once I brought it in there. I do not want toput a lawnmower in my car and haul it back-and-forth 45 minutes away all summer while I have no one cutting my grass.I am a senior and I have to have this problem fixed. I would like Better Business Bureau to have them pick up this mower and get it out of my sight and I would just like a replacement just like it in hopes that it will work OK with the self-propelled. I am on a fixed in**me and I cannot buy another lawnmower. I had to save up for this one. I also now have nothing I have never had such a difficult time! I shopped at the *********** Menards location in the month of April 2025.. I sent in SEPARATELY six rebates totaling $346.66. I never received the rebate check. I got on their website and it said that they sent out one rebate check for the full total of $346.66 months may 02 2025 .AS OF TODAY JUNE 15 2025 I HAVE NOT RECIEVED MY REBATE.. I'm on a fixed income I shopped at Menards to save money not to get ripped off. the requested that I used a SEALED ENVELOPE to send in rebate form with recites But then they send out a cheap post card. that can easy be open to see and steal! Placed a large order for fully built, custom cabinets received many Cabinets damaged, not built together when I called they would order a replacement. Then the replacement would be wrong. Thenthat replacement would be wrong. Countertops were delivered. The countertop was not finished like it was supposed to have been the delivery guy left hydraulic fluid over my driveway when they came back to pick up the countertop that was incorrect. The delivery driver left more hydraulic fluid all over my driveway in total have been 46 errors on my order of roughly $40,000. All I keep getting is sorry will do better and nothing ever gets better. I asked a corporate number and they said they dont have one many of the employees have been very helpful and understanding of the circumstances, but I feellike the management doesnt care and they say they are doing everything they can do. I have talked to store manager and asked to speak to corporate regarding all of my issues, he said there was no phone number after I filed my complaint The Better Business Bureau supplied me with corporates phone number I contacted corporate via that phone number. They transferred me to an automated line telling me to send an email. I tried to call back again and they blocked my number from calling them. I went through the email chain and got nowhere except for very rude responses from a gentleman named *** * have continued to ask to speak to somebody from corporate not via email. I would like to have a conversation with somebody that has yet to happen. Another person from corporate reached out to me via email and told me there was nothing corporate could do. The store manager could help me then the store manager said no he couldnt help me corporate could help me. I keep getting the runaround. Its a giant circle.

Menards issued me one of their infamous 11% off rebates as a store credit. The rebate has a very large balance on it and yetit was deleted in their system. The store says they can see a the balance but cant honor the rebate merchandise credit because it was deleted in Menards system. Ive reached out many times to the corporate office and my request have gone completely ignored.Business Response

On 5/14/2025 I purchased a Whirlpool washer and dryer from Menards located at ************************************. The item was delivered 5/16/2025. The amount of the washer before tax was $728. The washer has malfunctioned; it does not fill up with water and it shakes violently. I went back to the store spoke to the appliance manager who refused to exchange the item because the item was not in its original packaging. The delivery person removed and disposed of the packaging. I contacted the manufacturer *********, who dispatched Diamond Repair 6/4/2025, the technician attempted to put new screws in the washer but was unable to stating the holes were too small and the screws were now stripped. The technician advised me to contact Whirlpool, once I contacted Whirlpool I was directed back to the store. At this point I'm very frustrated and feel like I'm being bounced back and forth from the store to the manufacturer which is very inconvenient as I have spent a lot of money on these items that I'm unable to use. I would like a replacement of the washer because it has not been 30 days, and it should be functional. Time is of the essence, and I need this issue resolved immediately. I am not and have not been getting my rebates back for years. Irun a small farm and spend quite a bit there as the advertising says pricing is lower than others with the 11 percent rebate. This has been probably an easy 6000 or more over the last 3-4 years alone. They take so long to arrive that by the time we realize they haven't come we cannot find the old receipts to prove we even spent money there.Business Response

I ordered a shed the cover to the shed was missing I discovered after putting the shed up the cover was not there. Menards did not offer anything they did not have the shed in stock they had one like it but would not exchange it now I have a useless frame I want my money back they can pick up the shed frame.Business Response
